Chavez asks if no one will rid him of this turbulent priest.

Sounds like a good plan, hey Sean Penn?
There are a number of fellow travelers here in Canada and in the US that would like to do the same.
Is anyone tired of this Venezuelan blowhard and his Hollywood puppet yet?
…and we can likely expect at least one of them to chime in any minute now.
Sorry, that last one was @Ken BTW.
I was expecially impressed by the resounding cheers and standing O Chavez received at the Hopenchangen conference for denouncing capitalism.
He took a modest bow, then left to start an artificial famine in Ukraine. Or am I thinking of sonmeone else?
Chavez has done a hell of a lot of good for the people of Venezuela, however, right wing types always forget to mention this. In the pocket of the rich and corporate he is not.
Yes, the lowering of the tide for all really helps those on the bottom rung because they don’t lose as much as some others (/sarc). Just like all parasites, it’s only when they’ve bled the host dry (aka running out of other peoples money, the blood of an economy) that the true effects of socialism can be seen.
Of course not T. Like all other dictators he only surrounds himself with noble, hardworking peasants, and he lives as they do.
He’s going to make Obama jealous.

“There are a number of fellow travelers here in Canada and in the US that would like to do the same.”
“Fellow travellers” — are you kidding?!! If you were to do poll, the entire NDP and half the membership of the Liberals and even a couple Conservatives would support Hugo Chavez. If they supported the Castro’s and the Ortegas, who have been much worse than Chavez, then it’s only logical.
They would also support removing the Colombian narco-terrorist FARC from the list of banned terrorist organizations, as well Hamas, Hezbollah, ETA, and a whole slew of others. If the media (and Conservatives with influence in the media) were doing their jobs, we would be polling our politicians specifically on their positions regarding each and every despot, terrorist org., etc. and making thier views public instead of allowing them to cowtow privately with these tyrants.
I remember the height of Ortega’s Sandinista brutality in Nicaragua during the 80’s. ALL media was closed down or heavily censored, not just a few. So what did the NDP do? They organized officially sponsored Sandinista parties in B.C.!
It won’t be long now before the soccer stadiums full than empty, as Hugo takes out in his mind the garbage that blocks his beatific vision of socialism.
Mass murder in the name of Utopia. The Marxist flower wars. http://www.aztec-history.com/aztec-flower-war.html
JMO
The Aztec flower wars were not civil wars but rather a means to select vicitms for human sacrifice. Victims who at least had a fighting chance…….
This will be morew like Stalin, Castro, Hitler, Taliban and the Khymer Rouge Killing fields.
Allende started that in Chile and then the usual suspect hereabouts protested because Pinoche and the army put Allende and company infront of the firing squads rather than behind them….good times….
“Hitler got the trains to run on time….”
And let’s not forget, Volkswagen and the modern superhighway. Lots of unemployed people were given work in such projects. Yes, by Lefty logic mass murdering regimes deserve an apologia if they make enough token gestures to “the poor” or “the working man” or “the farmers” or whatever other cliche proletarian group they romantically imagine from the bedrooms of their parents’ upper-middle class homes in suburbia.
Chavez has done a hell of a lot of good for the people of Venezuela…
And if he keeps up the good work, he will be suitably rewarded, just like Saddam Hussien and
Nicolae Ceauşescu.
“glasnost at June 12, 2010 7:47 PM
just like Saddam Hussien and Nicolae Ceauşescu.”
And let’s not forget the poster-child of the leftards, Chez!!!!
Sorry, that should have been “Che”…is T maybe his long lost love-child?
If you’re at the Guevara home would you be chez Che?
Chavez is a real nutcase and dictator, unlike Obama who’s a wannabe.
What do you do? They love him. All you can do is let them learn the hard way.
What do you do? They love him.
Show us a despotic dictator that “they” didn’t love at some point in time,, and I’ll show you a dictator that wasn’t.
Venezuela, soon to be a failed economy and a non-country like Zimbabwe or Somalia or even Mexico.
Chavez and this fat has-been soccer player and drug addict, are kindred spirits.
Hitler was a great leader. Give it up you small dead hearts – you wouldn’t know a humanitarian if he gassed you in a shower room. Chavez, Castro, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot… all shining examples of true social leadership focused on justice, social justices that is, not the bourgeois kind
Thank you T, that was a good one.
T, you’re really Glenn Beck? Rush????
T: Stick your head in a toilet and flush.

Hope so. Myself, I kind of liked Mussolini’s last pose. I think it would be very fitting for a statesman of Chavez’ caliber.
Jamie, you are bad, but I must agree.
Chavez has sure done lots for Venezuela, reduced food production, devalued their currency, GDP down the tubes, jailed those who oppose his views, election fraud, but to name a few.
He is doing to Venezuela what Mugabe has done to Zimbabwe.
We could pass the hat, take up a collection so T could go live in his Venezuelian paradise.
He’d be so happy & maybe he’d get Sean Penn’s autograph.
As opined yesterday, T is merely a petulant pothead who’s so very upset with PMSH for his bill that will come down so hard on gro-ops that T is afraid he will be forced to share a cell with Bubba. Clearly he’s in a serious whacky-tabbacky brain fog.

There you have it, folks. T admits that “social justice” equals mass murder.
I swear to god T is actually conservative, but just trolls for the hell of it.
And regarding Chavez, I believe Taliban Jack admires this man as a great leader.
anonymous, that does not surprise me. They are birds of a feather.
The reason the Socialist like people like chaves is there brain never developed to its full potential. Nobody who thinks that giving up rights to the Government is a good thing is a fully developed Human. Jack Layton is a perfect example all that education but still thick as a plank.
Sounds like a good plan, hey Sean Penn?

T – I’m sure Chavez has lots of options to keep his people employed and happy. Hey – think of the number of happy workers Hitler kept employed manufacturing ovens.
In Canada we have the Canadian Red Tractor Company to take care of these uppity voices.

(The sort of thing, I’d point, that hurt the Lord Protector, Oliver Cromwell, so that his son had no popular support for continuing the Protectorate after Oliver’s death.)
