Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

PETA wins again by having photos and the story of the protesters published…
Congrats Kate from a catter!
She’s not my dog, guys…. LOL
I still love the Norwich Terrier that won about 10 years ago. I swear he had a little smile on his face. He was like a living teddy bear 🙂
PETA looks like fools again. They can’t organize their own legitimate protest so they piggy back on legitimate events in a pathetic attempt to be mainstream.
Nothing a couple of Dobermans wouldn’t put paid to . . . think of PETA members as free food.
On the hand I bbq’d ribs last night for my local PETA chapter . . . People Enjoying Tasty Animals.
Yeah let a few of those trained MUTT’S loose on em ..lol see how they feel about prubred after that …lol.

PETA = PETulant A**holes.
Ironic, the peta pooch was carrying a sign saying “Breeders Kill Shelter Dogs’ Chances”.
Sadie the Scottie was carrying a sign saying “PETA Kills Shelter Dogs”.
She’s not my dog, guys…. LOL

See Kate, when it comes to dog shows and breeding and such we’re a bunch of bumpkips. Most of us haven’t heard of “Sadie” or any other famous dog other than maybe Lassie or Old Yeller. I had a dog, Champ, back on the farm. He might not have won a fancy show but he would have given most a likken.
Anyway, its good to have you home. We’ll catch up later.
The “mutts rule” was kinda ironic, considering most PETA useful idiots are mutts.
Good ole PETA eh. The folks that are responsible for putting down (KILLING) more pets than any other animal welfare organization world wide is protesting against the people that are the caretakers of so many animals. What a joke.
A group that proposes to love animals (including dogs) more than life itself protesting a group that loves animals as much or more than anything in their lives. Just a tad ironic. No effort is ever enough for PETA or any other extreme organization.
I keep looking for Kathy’s picture here for some reason…
I think some commercial artist should photoshop a picture of Sadie with her teeth embedded in that PETA protester’s backside.
My hero dog was our German Shepard cross named Silver (he had a coat colouring similar to Kate’s winners, hence his name.) One summer night many years ago he caught a full grown racoon trying to get into our chicken coup. Silver was able to corner it and grabbed it by its neck without getting a scratch, and left one less racoon to worry about.
We never had pretty farm dogs, but they were all pretty usefull and loyal.
I have always been a fan of Golden Retrievers. I think Brenda Comazetto was the best breeder in the Golden Retieiver realm. She hails from BC.
I was half expecting to see a steaming pile of Sadie’s response.
