I’ve long believed that newspapers use the dumbest people in their lineups as headline writers.

‘Just read this over at Ezra’s. What a pile of the usual s**t from our “esteemed”, and going down the drain, MSM.
A few minutes ago, I got a call from the TorStar, asking if I wanted a cheap subscription. I gave the very nice young man on the other end of the line a very big piece of my mind, amongst many things telling him to tell his supervisors that the RedStar is facing its demise because of its never-ending spewing of leftard bias. I also told him that I get accurate news on the blogs, and to tell his supervisor that, too.
These guys have spent all of their capital — or, wasted it — and now they’re crying in their beer.
Well, BOO HOO!

In fact this morning, I was disappointed; I thought it wasn’t the best headline I’ve seen.

Exactly !! My biggest beef with the MSM. Misleading, biased, slanted words – especially in the headlines.
I didn’t realize that the Journalist does not have exclusive say concerning the headlined used. IMO, that is ridiculous. The most important lines are out of their hands !!

Headline writer’s are adept at manipulating opinion, hence the embodiment of MSM corruption as opposed to fair and balanced news reporting.
Ezra has taken on an enormous task in fighting HRC’s.
The corrupt CSIS Bristow affair and the Warman HRC Stromfront issue Ezra points out are still alive today within the guts of all HRC’s.
Stay the course Ezra, your book “Shakedown” is a must read for every high school student in this country!!

I think the headline does a pretty accurate job of conveying Ezra’s ACTUAL point in the article. While you may see it as an “expose” of the CJC, I think Ezra was trying to make a larger point. You may be over-reacting.

The larger point would be that it is the state and statists that foment the contempt, hate, and revolution and the village idiots are best ignored as they are just that, idiots (and we don’t need any help to figure that out, thanks government).

A little hard of thinking are we? The article is about how the CJC, CSIS, and the HRC’s have gone so far as to virtually create the so-called “Nazi menace” that they then declare to be hiding in every washroom in the land so that they can then demand additional money and laws to save us all.
Typical lefty mode of operations, eh? (I’m sure you know a lot about that …)

It was a rather anal-retentive headline, wasn’t it? Here are some worse ones:

** BOOK EXPOSES NAZI TRUTH
** HOW CLOSE WE CAME TO FASCISM

Peter O’Donnell, with his excellent alternative headlines should apply for a job with the Ottawa Citizen. (I’m joking, Peter, and the laugh’s on the Citizen.)
Perhaps the reason their circulation is dropping is because they aren’t obvious enough?
Other suggestions for the Citizen: Watch and learn from MSNBC’s Keith Obermann and Rachael Maddow. Their ratings are going through the…floor.

Since Ezra himself does not mention the Ottawa Citizen headline until near the end of the post, I’m not sure why it’s attracting such derision.
Might be a good time to go look through your old Playboy magazines … just for the articles, you understand.
Headlines are headlines. They’re meant to attract a reader to the article, not to tell you everything that’s in the article.
Otherwise, why bother reading the article … or for that matter, why bother with anything other than looking at the pictures?

What Ezra is describing in this article is not at all surprising. I have witnessed implants in an EDA Election Campaign office subvert the efforts of those volunteers who worked so hard to be successful. And it always seemed so convenient when at an Anti Gun Control Rally, the MSM could always find “Old Bearded Guy” wearing his red-plaid shirt, beard down to his navel, and old scruffy hat, to interview.

Who gives a damn adout the title? The Article is factual and the statist control freaks and their paranoid dupes heads explode in the comments.

The article’s headline is what Levant himself has stated … like at his recent visit to London ON … “Just ignore these kooks” .. and I’ve heard him say this too …!!!

Was a time when I checked Ezra’s site three or four times a day, in hopes that he’d posted something interesting or relevant. I was rarely disappointed.
Now all he does is beg and shill and promote himself. Imagine, plugging your book in the lead of a column. Yuck!
