  1. Yes, “We’re reaching out to you with gifts to show our love for you.” — shudder! — horrors! — quick, put an end to that. “Death to Infidels!!! — murder and kill all who offend the prophet!!!” — my, yes, what a charming and quaint little sect that is; can we have an awareness and tolerance day at school for them? Sorry, but I will simply never, ever understand the liberal mindset.

  2. “Darren Lund – 9/11 happened because we didn’t respect Islam”
That’s right! We didn’t respect the oppression of women or the murder of innocents. We didn’t respect the idea that we should be your slaves and worship your pedophile prophet of hatred and death.
9/11 happened for one reason and one reason only – The USA is not Islamic.
This is a war fought on every border with Islam and in every country on earth that Islam has infected. In the Middle East and parts of South East Asia they fight Islamic community against Islamic community. In India and Europe they fight against the indigenous populations from street to street burning their own ghettos and throwing the odd large bus bomb or train bomb in the mix killing dozens to thousands.
In the US and Canada they are still germinating in the fertile petri dish of political correctness and the Liberal strangleholds on our civilization such as the HRC the Islamic weapon against our freedom.
The war is coming our way and 9/11 was a mere sortie. It has and will never be about respect or tolerance with Islam, it’s about invasion and enslavement. The lefties delusional and sentimental arguments for Islam are nothing more than tools in the arsenal of this death cult. They are the human shields of these blood thirty global dictators.

  3. “9/11 happened for one reason and one reason only – The USA is not Islamic.”
Hate to split hairs, Knight 99, but even if the USA was islamic they may be of the wrong sect from OBL and he would have attacked them anyway. This is happening everywhere and is part of their insane religion.
Of course if the USA was islamic there would be no planes anyway or large buildings to crash them into.

  4. So by his reasoning Christianity should be behaving exponentially worse. After all, it is the least respected and most maligned religion right now. There should be radicals self-detonating all over the place and supporters in the street cheering on these martyrs.

  5. There are approximately 1.5 billion Muslims on the planet today, some of whom actually adhere to peace because they have no choice but submit to the cult because of their residence location or they are simply ignorant to the true substance of the ideology.
For anyone who has traveled extensively through Muslim countries it is well known the support of the radical idealist like OBL is overwhelming, sentiments ranging from a complicit “oh well” to a champion of the people, to all out support (mentally, financially, physically). The point is – even the lefts so called “moderate Muslims” are a large part of the problem and well over a majority polled in the Middle East give support to the views of OBL.
    http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/06/08/poll.binladen/index.html
Less than 5% of Saudis think it might be a bad idea to have this murderous cult leader rule the Arabian Peninsula??
What percentage of radical Muslim support will it take for the west to understand that their lives and future is in great pearl? 10% of global Muslim populations alone calculate that 150 million are on your doorstep! That’s half the population of the US today and we know by fact that the 10% speculation is a gross underestimation. More like 60%! Now that’s a whole lot of hate coming our way!!!

  6. My 3:40 post, March 12th, at “The Road to Totalitarianism” addresses some of the issues here.

  7. If we have more respect for Hitler, the second world war wouldn’t have happened either!

  8. Respect? Lund’s statement is correct if by “respect” we mean,
“respect as a deadly and resolute enemy”.

  9. Saw a Muslim panel on BBC while channel-surfing.
One of the guys claims only 2% of Muslims are active jihadists. Sound about right.
There was the usual ‘blame everybody else’ banter, but also the sentiment that Islam can only be reformed by other Muslims. True enough, since anybody else apparently is inferior enough to be considered a legitimate target.
I do agree that it’s in the interests of Islam to somehow weed out the sentiments by which its extremists are given legitimacy through its tenets.
What I did not like is one of the panelists first saying that it is up to the Western world to understand Islam, then calling Jesus Christ a prophet and thereby showing his own ignorance of the a central Christian tenet that Christ is the Son of God.
There’s nothing in Christian tenets or texts which compel its adherents to gain power over other human beings. In fact, quite the opposite is clearly articulated in the Tempation and in exchanges with the apostles, when Christ told Simon Zealotes that his kingdom was not of this world and that armed insurrection against the Romans would only lead to a disastrous conclusion.
That, of course came true when the Temple of Jerusalem was destroyed as a response to armed insurrection … not by Christians BTW.
Anyway, respect does work both ways and if the tenets of Islam say Jews are sons of pigs and dogs, then a respectful relationship between human beings would be difficult.
The answer, of course, is, within the Muslim community. And, it does come down to respect for other human beings. If the word of a woman is not equal to the word of a man within the Muslim community, then what is the word of a person outside the tribe worth?
There’s still a long wait until civility, as is understood in the Western world and based on Judeo/Christian values, is embraced in thee Muslim world. Progress will be slow and bloody.
Freedom is never free and free people around the world do have a right to defend themselves against a tyranny of Islam, even though it may be perpetrated by only 2% of its adherents.

  10. yo 99. only 1billion five hunderd and ninety nine thousand to go. lots of work ahead. the koran is evil and will not be reformed nor will muslims.

  11. The lack of Muslim knowledge and understanding of Christianity has not a thing to do with the issue of the Islamic invasion of western societies; they hate all non-Muslims equally. They don’t pretend to care about other religions; the issue is not of consequence. They will use deceit and lies to patronize weaker western sentiments and lull the population with doubt of their intent, hence the rhetorical acceptance of the Christian Christ as a “prophet”. Statements such as these are meant to lure fundamental Christians into believing there is hope of redeeming Muslims and or finding a peace with them. This is a ploy and Muslims only make such statements in the general sense that they recognize and believe the “holy land” has always been full of self-appointed prophets and foolish Christian Jesus of Nazareth is one of a dime a dozen. They come and they go. Do not be hypnotized with Muslim propaganda and deceit, it’s an old war long practiced by them.

  12. Thanks set you free; so only 2% of muslims are active jihadists? Well, I feel better already. And to think the Hell’s Angels pride themselves on being 1%ers — of all motorcyclists. So nice to know that of the muslims, only one in fifty is a murdering fanatic. And sorry, how many muslims in Britain, or in Canada for that matter?

  13. 99:
Oh, I’m not fooled at all.
Clearly, their philosophy is a conquest-based approach to rule over other whom they consider inferior.
Their diminishment of Christ’s status to an equivalent status to their own ‘prophet’ is a clear demonstration of their rejection of the ‘two kingdoms,’ God and Ceasar distinction.
While Christianity seeks perfection though introspection, the Muslim hordes claim a superiority that is spread through the Sword of God, or in the symbolic upgrade updated to the 20th century by Hizb’allah, the AK-47 of God.
The sword is a prevalent symbol of many flags of Muslim regimes, in which the concept of separation of church and state has been rejected for yet another form of utopianism.
Muhammad himself was illiterate and dictated the Qur’an to a defrocked Christian priest, who apparently had some issues with the tenets of the search for inner peace. Historical fact.

  14. “Saw a Muslim panel on BBC while channel-surfing.
One of the guys claims only 2% of Muslims are active jihadists.”
Okay, relax, everybody, that’s only THIRTY MILLION jihadists.

  15. set you free>
“Clearly, their philosophy is a conquest-based approach to rule over other whom they consider inferior”
I couldn’t agree more. I would also add that this is also compounded with individual regional and cultural prejudice against us such as jealousy and inferiority complex’s. They blend and mix all of this with Islam to crate a deadly cocktail of destruction.

  16. Dmorris>
“Okay, relax, everybody, that’s only THIRTY MILLION jihadists”
Exactly 30 million extremists with the support through financial aid, logistics and moral support from an additional +/- 900 million………….No issue at all.
Plus the support of our own leftist movements and Liberal sentiments along with institutionalized protections for Islam to silence Canadians from speaking out against this oppressive cult as with the HRC.

  17. 99:
Forgot, that same panellist who said it was up to the west to understand Islam, also called this claim of misunderstanding ‘racist.’
Hmmm. And what race is Islam, again.
Mind you, tossing out the racist epithet has worked until now for Warren Kinsella, the enemy of free speech.
    Hey, panellist! I understand completely.

  18. I don’t know the exact percentage of christians who went on the crusades, but it was probably a low number also. They were chiefly males between 15 and 30 years of age. All they did was roam through Europe,Asia and Africa killing everyone who did not agree or convert to christianity.Sound familiar. So,if we all show a little more respect and maybe 500 years of patience, things will be fine for the few remaining survivors of the ‘religion of peace’.

  19. Wallyj>
How true – Only this army of hate has the advantage or ability today to “roam through” carrying chemical & biological weapons including all manner of conventional explosive devices along with the potentials of nuclear waste products or even a bomb with the right resources funded through an enemy of the west like North Korea.
North America is already at great risk of the return of infectious disease like tuberculoses, leprosy ect ect (rising cases annually) because of illegal entry bypassing customs inspections. What about the deliberate spread of a plague though terrorism?

  20. Excuse me Kate. I clicked on a couple of links to nowhere.
A sensible person ignores, walks by, idiots.

  21. The psychology of Eliot Spitzer = the psychology of Darren Lund & Dick Warman. Explain?
1-N pages, double spaced, 11 point arial.
    Mr. X.

  22. The Crusades were a response to nearly five centuries of repression by the Muslim hordes of the time.
Robert Spencer has a good counter-attack to that attempt at equating what happened a millenia ago to what’s continuing to happen today in all parts of the world where this poisonous Sword of God philisophy has placed innocents under its oppression.
If anything, the Crusades taught western civilization it’s OK to fight for the freedoms some take for granted today.
Ask anybody from the Eastern European countries how much they liked the Communist yoke, a now-discredited utopian totalitarian philosophy similar in goals and methods to the 14 cetnuries of jihadists.

  23. so kriste is a god to kristians
kriste is a proffet to mohamadins
to me kriste is one of santa’s helpers
some of you kristians sound about as mixed up as the muslems

  24. “some of you kristians sound about as mixed up as the muslems”
Christians are far more fanatical and more dangerous than Muslims. The difference between Muslims and Christians is, Muslims are willing to sacrifice their own live for their cause, Christians on the other hand pay others to risk their lives while they sit comfortably at home thousands of miles away from the fight.

  25. “so kriste is a god to kristians
kriste is a proffet to mohamadins
to me kriste is one of santa’s helpers
some of you kristians sound about as mixed up as the muslems”
    Is this a joke?

  26. Lib(tard)forLife:
I reckon I missed the news clips showing a bunch of crazy Christians flying jets into skyscrapers screaming “In God’s Name!!”, or beheading innocents with rusty sawblades chanting “In the name of Pope Benedict!”, or wiring their toddlers with semtex to blow up innocents in a local marketplace as “soldiers of Christ”.
I’ll bet your moral relativism gets even better if you don’t break the quaalude in half before you type, eh?
    Moron.

My mother used to tell me, those who hate destroy only themselves.
Libfolife’s irrational hatred against Christianity, which has formed the foundation of Western civilizations freedoms, has once again provem my mother correct.
Christ clearly pointed out every human being has free will, so it’s difficult to ascertain the nature of the oppression Libforlife suffers from and is fighting against.
Libforlife commits a hate crime against himself, but needs somebody else to blame for his miserable existence.
His only joy in life is in believing he can drag others down to his level of misery. He does so by name-calling and misrepresenting a great religion of which he knows absolutely nothing.
I’ve never heard George Bush say a bad word to say about Libforlife.
Still, I do feel sorry for him.
