Bummer.
It goes without saying: Hang in there and best of luck, mate.
I’m devastated. Tim’s is one of the best stops on the blogosphere. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.
Depending on what type of cancer he has, and affecting which organ(s), cancer treatment has come a long way and your chances of recovery can be remarkable. It’s the C-word that really hits, the first time your’e diagnosed. “who, me? I’m invincible”. Been there, done that – twice in the last 7 years. All the best to him and a speedy recovery.
Burn an extra ton of carbon for him this week.
Yup, the big C word: I’ll add Tim to my prayers, with thanksgiving for his intelligence, vitality, and guts in the struggle for the civilized world we all believe in here.
God bless Tim and all who love him.
Little concerned about the second clip, on CJ.
In the split second between the question being asked to the Imam (?), his hands go from under the table to a strange camera change and zoom in (no shoulders moving by the IMAM) and suddenly his hands are on the table answering the question asked – indication of a possible cut & paste job by whomever, whichever people did the piece.
As well, don’t like the organ music that accompanies the stoning. I’ve always had a problem with its use in reporting. It has no place there – too Clockwork Orange-like. And the left is more guilty of it. Why copy them?
