the body of the story was correct , they just forgot to change the prewritten headline.
premature exclaimation from Canadas second worst newsource after CBCpravda.
Heh- Canada Press, like the CBC and Toronto Star, are Liberal propaganda agencies. The headline was obviously what they wanted to happen.
Facts, unfortunately, aren’t always as easy to manipulate as headlines, and House of Commons protected-against-libel outbursts.
However, he and his lawyers are desperate to keep him out of German courts; he’s here for at least two more weeks while they appeal, again, to the Supreme Court. Or threaten….
Something really stinks about pre-writing headlines — especially when they involve the outcome of a court case. What could they have been thinking?
In my last post I said “What could they have been thinking?” I realize that I really should have asked “What could they have been plotting?” I think this really makes them look underhanded and manipulative.
My original trade was in a major printing house in canada we had the newsweek contract my job was in pre-press film layout, it would not be unusual to recieve 5-6 covers in advance or 2 differently written news story minutes apart all related to the same article & we would be instructed sometimes just before press time which cover or article would run. This usualy applied only to a major news events, when Reagan was shot for example i rec’d roughly 8 covers from titles like reagan dies, reagan has hemorage they covered every angle.
So iam not saying yes or no just maybe once it was the wrong pre-written punched up & bang too late.
Dan Rather got justice as a result of intense work by bloggers.
My wish would be that the concerned community here could bring the same kind expert scrutiny to bear (somehow) on the Libs for fuelling the unwarranted scope of this witch-hunt. They are despicable.
*Ahem* Quelle surprise.

“Premature Headline Syndrome”
more like liberal Premature Ejaculation methinks.
like bryanr said…the MSM always have pre headlines in order to meet deadlines, write 2 or 3 different scenarios, hope 1 pans out and run with it. some ya win some ya lose, it’s a lousy way to do business and sure as hell wouldn’t work in the real world
