Passport To Nowhere

According to Blacklock’s Reporter, the Public Health Agency of Canada tracked 33 million mobile devices in Canada to monitor population movements during lockdowns. The agency claims the information can not track individuals, and only gives them information on population trends, but according to a federal contractor’s notice, this type of tracking could become commonplace. Tom Korski with Blacklock’s joins John to share the details, and why this should be concerning news for Canadians.

Those vaccine passport QR code readers, they’d never be used for something like that.

No Christmas For You

We must cancel Christmas and ruin the economy because we might get the sniffles. This is one of the Omicron symptoms.

And Dear Leader reminded us that he will be suffering as well. He will be isolating at his Harrington Lake resort with a minimum of cooks, housekeepers, and security staff.

Trudeau tells Canadians to “hunker down” as provinces enter COVID lockdowns

And your morning smile.

Update: Shutting down Britain because of the common cold.

Double Your Pleasure, Double Your Fun

National Post- The mystery behind Trudeau’s two climate change committees

The list of committees turned out to contain not one but two committees on economy, inclusion and climate: they were labelled “A” and “B.”  These committees have 14 members each, with no overlap. The current minister of the environment, Steven Guilbeault, is on the B team; his immediate predecessor, Jonathan Wilkinson, sits on A. The committees are described as having identical mandates: they shall consider “such issues as sustainable and inclusive social and economic development, post-pandemic recovery, decarbonization, and the environment as well as improving the health and quality of life of Canadians.”

Hide Your Children

The ban on conversion therapy was all about pleasing the alphabet people and making the Conservatives look bad. It had nothing to do with science. Other Western countries are studying the issue rather than jumping on the bandwagon. But then we have a leader who thinks prancing in homosexual parades is normal.

Canada just banned clinical therapy for children thinking of transitioning

And speaking of child abuse.

Meanwhile CNN has some explaining to do.

Temporarily Unexpected

Growing the middle class;

The full effect of lingering pandemic-related food supply chain disruptions, high inflation, labour and transportation issues, climate change and extreme weather events on next year’s grocery bills remains to be seen. But according to Canada’s Food Price Report 2022, they will only get higher.

In the latest edition of the annual report, Dalhousie University, University of Guelph, University of Saskatchewan and University of British Columbia researchers forecast a five to seven per cent increase in food prices — the highest in its 12-year history.

A family of four is expected to spend as much as $14,767 in 2022: up to $966 more than 2021, which amounts to an extra $80 a month and $20 a week.

“2022 will likely be a very difficult year for most Canadian families, unfortunately, because prices are going to rise significantly,” says Dr. Sylvain Charlebois, director of Dalhousie University’s Agri-Food Analytics Lab (AAL) and lead author of the report. “Canadians will have to accept the fact that they are going to have to dedicate a greater portion of their overall budget to food.”

Well, some of them voted for it.

“Things Are Going Great!”

Sun- With friends like Joe Biden, Canada doesn’t need enemies

If last week’s trip to Washington by the Trudeau government was a success, I’d hate to see what they consider a failure. Since returning from the U.S. capital the Americans have banned P.E.I. potatoes, doubled the duty on softwood lumber and passed the legislation Trudeau wanted to stop, through the House.

Despite the facts in front of them, the Liberals think things are going great.

“We can say it’s a success,” Foreign Minister Melanie Joly said at the end of the Washington trip.
