  1. I watched about 5 minutes and all I could see was a pair of naive individuals who don’t accept that mankind is inherently evil wondering why the left (and a whole lot of others) accepts and fosters tyranny. Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

    1. “all I could see was a pair of naive individuals who don’t accept that mankind is inherently evil”

Yes, somebody give these guys an elementary course in Human History.
Even the Old Testament of the Bible is a history of mankind lurching from one act of evil to the next.

  2. I watched the whole thing.

It’s nice to see an acknowledged leftist journalist describing in detail the deep state attack on Trump for four years. He pissed the CIA off and he paid. To the point where it was equivalent to a constitutional coup.

Greenwald’s advocacy for an Asange and Snowden pardon as Trump walks out the door didn’t surprise. It’ll be interesting to see if Trump does issue pardons as a final thumb in the eye to the CIA / NSA.

Greenwald and the Brazil / Bolsenaro discussion was interesting but too short. I’m woefully ignorant on Brazil.

Don’t count the President out yet.
Oh, and a real “final thumb” in the eye of the FBI/CIA/NSA would be for him to comply with the law and
unseal the FULL Warren Commission Report, the purpose of the sealing being to protect the Deep State.

does anybody who thinks Lee Oswald did it even wonder WHY? the 30,000 page Warren Commission Report
had to be sealed for 60 years if a nobody-loan-nut was responsible for a One-Off murder?

    1. They are so close to comprehending the truth, but they just can’t seem to get over that last hurdle that is blinding them. I hope they do before it’s too late.

  3. This was a great interview, and well worth watching, even for those whose stamina doesn’t last beyond 5 minutes

    1. “well worth watching, even for those whose stamina doesn’t last beyond 5 minutes”

Or for people like you whose idea of “great” is to watch paint dry or cheer as grass grows./
Progs are always getting “unexpected” results. I believe it’s because their expectations are so very shallow
and the premises that they’re based upon are unfounded and fantastical to begin with.

  4. Greenwald seems to have a healthy disdain for the “deep state” but one wonders if, as a self described leftist, he feels the same about the “shallow state” that includes education, health care, the welfare state, and regulatory leviathan – responsible for generations lacking knowledge, critical thinking, responsible behavior, and morality.
