  1. Why, if the store is open for business, would some items be restricted ? This remainds me of Ontario’s Sundays of the 1970s when sections were roped off but we all picked up those items we wanted. No store cashier ever said ‘No’.

      Apparently some closed businesses complained about the ones that are still open selling “non essentials”.
      But:
      You can call in to any business, and they can bring anything and everything out, curbside delivery….
      Go inside, buy what you are allowed to, go out to your car, call in an order for the rest….
      At the Shell gas station, the poor little magazine rack is covered up, nothing else.

    Sometimes this is so stupid you have to step back and laugh at it. Mexican food was on the menu and the kids wanted mock margaritas. So my wife goes to the Liquor Mart thinking it’s the most convenient place stop to pick up some Margarita mix. Clerk informs her “sorry Margarita mix isn’t essential so we pulled it off the shelves. But I can sell you tequila or pre-mixed margaritas with alcohol in them, because alcohol is essential.”
    Just think of how many fewer Covid cases there will be because Margarita mix was pulled from the shelves in a liquor store, and how many more alcoholics there will be, including my kids!

  5. You only need winter coats if you are going outside and there is winter. There will be no more winters because of climate change, and the eternal disease lockdown (COVID right now, others are sure to follow that are just as deadly as Coronavirus) means you don’t need to go outside.

    Tobacco, alcohol, cannabis, shells and bullets, fish hooks and bait.
    In the news Friday, Manitoba Public Health said that “doodle books” are good for your quarantine emotional health, too bad books, along with magazines and toys, are verboten.

      1. Very good point, there were those that died with Wuhan virus not necessarily because of it.
        It is of course sad that people die, its the nature of life.
        Sadder of course is when people die early because the Dr. Moreau “scientists” mix the fix and shit happens, intentionally or not. You can observe how shielded is the Wuhan of Dr. Moreau from bad press.

    2. You can bet that half of those deaths were not exclusively due to the Chinese Flu. The government want us to be in fear so they can do what they want while pretending it’s all in our best interest.

      1. The cure for the flu has been discovered. Covid-19 has eradicated the planet earth of the flu. Cases of influenza and deaths from the influenza have been reduced to just a few. Covid-19 cures the flu!

  8. My goodness. Manitoba is completely nuts. Everyone should get out and vote, if you know what I think. Good luck to all of you who want someting that is non-essential to the elites, who can get whatever they want.

    1. Winnipeg, about 3/4 of Manitoba’s population, if not more, is a Liberal/NDP wasteland. The north likes the NDP free stuff promises.

    Imagine if motor vehicle accident fatalities were reported in the same way as “presumed covid deaths” are being reported…Yet more people die on the roads..Or an even better proxy how about deaths by medical misadventure,a polite euphanism for ,killed by the healthcare system screw ups,imagine if the “Newz” reported those .
    Now in 9 months a healthy human female can bring a new human to life,in 9 months our high priced help,also known as “Public Health” or useless and clueless minions have accomplished what?
    Correct me if I am wrong,but are we not 9 months poorer and right back where we started..
    Being made prisoners in our homes,to prevent a doomed healthcare system from collapsing.
    Lock up the healthy and productive,reward the totally nonproductive and useless and for what?
    For in these days of lock down,in the name of a national health emergency,the idiots rule.
    So certain they must protect us,so sure that ‘this time it will work’,so desperate in their terror that they will kill us to prevent us being infected with the Dread Covid.
    Left unchecked the government will harm and kill more people than Covid,with a 99% survivor rate,will ever do.

    Fire them all,after 3/4 of a year they have demonstrated their abilities and wisdom.
    Not one is fit to be dogcatcher.

  18. Everything is totally fucking nuts in Manitoba and because police and such were getting such a hard time about this insanity we got a private UN based security team to do the enforcement. I live in a dictatorship now. My wife is an American citizen. She’s applying for a green card for me if Trump wins his lawsuits in court.
