    That was the conclusion of the WaPo article, the idea being that the “Russia! Russia! Russia!” canard was counterproductive.

    Problem is, interference of CHINESE spies in American media and institutions us rampant, and that remains firmly hushed up. (The names of Chinese intelligence agencies are not household names. Their western allies prefer it that way.)

    The last four years have demonstrated who America’s real friends are: Russia and Israel. No prizes why China and the Arabs want Americans alienated from both.

And the media still run bits of that, even after it died, even today.     2. The FBI has had Hunter’s computer(s) for nearly a year. Didn’t they thoroughly forensically analyze Anthony Weiner’s in a day or two? Dismissing all of Huma’s emails to HER as duplicates of what they already had? (Which, of course, was utter rubbish). Doncha think the actual CURRENT FBI technicians would either certify or decertify Hunter’s hardware, software, and content as authentic? Why is the FBI remaining silent? Answer: because their policy to “not provide provocative information so close to an election” … Right?

      The FBI is allowing the idiotic “Russia disinformation” narrative to thrive. By NOT certifying the computer and messages as authentic … the FBI is leaving a chasm of doubt … which is influencing public opinion just prior to an election. The FBI should report TRUTH to the American people … and do it in a timely manner regardless of external goings-on. Our TOP Law Enforcement Agency has been completely infiltrated … top to bottom … with leftist political operatives. Time to clean house during PDJT’s second term.

        The fact is, the only people that care about this story are people who were already going to vote for Trump because they desperately want to feel better about voting for a corrupt narcissist and that uses his office for personal benefit. The best way to deal with the cognitive dissonance that this creates is to believe in a fiction that the other guy is just as corrupt.

          You can look at the subpoena. The Washington Post isn’t going to verify it, nor is the New York Times, because they would rather string along useful idiots like yourself. CBS News has verified that they have the laptop with their sources.

          I wonder what the penalty is for forging a subpoena? I am thinking prison time, which is why Giuliani wouldn’t do it. Everything you are suggesting that he did would put him in prison. In Hunters case the emails came forward on a laptop he carelessly left in a repair shop. Too bad you hate Trump so much, but that should not prevent you from recognizing that Biden is a crook. If you find yourself unable to vote for Trump this time, better to stay home. You will hate yourself forever if Biden gets in and China starts calling in the favors. You will also be upset if you are part of supporting a criminal and letting his crimes go unpunished.

        Trump tax returns which he so desperately tries to keep secret show millions in tax evaded as consulting fees to children. Again based on the Trump bubble rules of innuendo that is proof of scheme by Trump and his children to defraud the taxman.

        The only people looking stupid are the people who think they can turn a blind eye to Trump’s corruption while making completely unsubstantiated allegations about Joe Biden based on emails that may or may not belong to his son who is not running for office and will not get any special white house duties if Joe is elected (unlike Trump’s children).

        If you want people to take your “evidence” seriously you should have shown more integrity when Trump was obstructing justice by refusing to allow his officials to testify at legitimate investigation by congress in his conduct when dealing with Ukraine. As it stands, all of the claims coming from this laptop nonsense are mostly likely lies invented by pack of unethical scoundrels that will do anything to win.

        The complete failure of Trump supporters to show any kind of ethical backbone when it comes to Trump is why I went from being annoyed by Trump but OK with his policies to someone who wants to see him jailed for his crimes even if that means the democrats will introduce numerous nightmare policies.
