    1. Trump was under attack from the first second and he handled it well. All and only the issues the polls say Trump is supposed to be weak on were the ones asked.

       Trump is authentic while Biden is not. But that’s how Biden has been in politics for half a century, so blathering while using key words and phrases seems to work, works for Justin Potato.

       No questions about Biden getting half the take on Hunter’s collections that’s for sure.

16. No thread up yet, but I watched the Trump townhall and I’m well into the Biden one as well. Not ONE question from either Savannah Guthrie to Trump nor George Stephanopoulos to Biden on this scandalous Hunter Biden affair. Not one.

    Sadly, Trump didn’t bring it up and Biden just rambled on semi-coherently. I noticed the young black guy asking about Biden’s 1994 crime bill. Biden wandered all over the block taking it to housing and how more black home ownership would be the panacea…. meanwhile the black kids eyes were glazing over. Asked if his question had been answered, the kid replied “yeah, I guess so.” with the same degree of enthusiasm as that seen at Biden ‘rallies’.
