  1. I can’t wait for them to show that the subpoena was fake, and that the FBI has no such computer, and for Giuliani to get slaughtered in public opinion for such a baldfaced lie.

Just kidding, that’s what would happen if he really was lying, but he’s not. He would be stupid to lie since the DOJ has the laptop in question. Seems like if the subpoena was fake, somebody would have said so by now.

The FBI was probably sitting on it for blackmail purposes with the new POTUS

I never liked Cruz before, but if Bearded Cruz runs again, I will support him.

    1. DeMarxist talking points don’t denied the email content, just the meeting in question wasn’t on his “schedule” and opportunity to meet doesn’t actually mean a meeting happened, except in the real world where it has always meant exactly that.

The fact they’re not calling the emails faked adds to the probability they’re actual correspondence.

When one lies upon lies, they are like the finger in the dike or the embezzler, they can’t allow even a little flow of truth, or their dam lies will break through and flood them all. Is that what’s happening? Not sure, but confirmation awaits, despite the best efforts of the social media oligarchs, intent on returning the leftist monopoly on the narrative they lost with the internet.

    2. Never was enthusiastic about Mr. Cruz either, but he can surprise people by doing something right. Btw, he was just interviewed by CNBC news, just now.

  2. The idiot Republicans have ignored censorship of themselves for the last 4 years. They’ve been lied to repeatedly by high-tech at Congressional hearings and have done nothing. Have they actually woken up? I doubt it. By now they must be realizing that the Democrats will employ every illegal means possible to thwart the will of the people. Penalize high-tech $20 billion each and break each one in two with no cross ownership. End it now.

  3. I deactivated my Twitter account so I’m not going to be able to click and leave my typical snide 240 characters. But this meeting will do absolutely nothing. The soonest that things will change is when people stop reading news. Social media is cancer, we all know this, but it’s so easy to fall back into the pattern of reading, reading, reading. ‘My news sources are truly unbiased.’ Yes, but you are still wasting 8 hours per day reading a bunch of useless (or watching someone talk about it), irrelevant information, that will NEVER affect your daily lives. It’s time to get off social media and get back into your own thoughts. Keep your own company. Talk to your family over a board game, or go for a walk with them. Sitting around on the couch staring at screens is what is causing all of this degeneracy we are all screaming about.

  4. Kabuki theater. Compelling someone to testify is just a jacked up version of “strongly worded letter”.
This B.S. has been going on far too long to not have done something about it before.
Hawley, Sasse and Lee et al. will put on their Oscar winning huff ‘n’ puff performances and that’ll be that.

  5. I avoid social media like the plague. I’ve never really seen the point, and I don’t care what people had for lunch. I certainly
have better things to do with my time.

  6. Sorry to get all black pilled here, but I have to get this off my chest. Politics is horse shit. There is no use following it so closely. It’s kind of like investing in the stock market, you should only look at your stocks once a year. There is no reason to read about politics on a daily basis. Or hourly basis, as is the case with most people today. Let me give you a concrete example: I wasted a lot of good years living, breathing, and dreaming about politics when we had the Reform party and all of machinations surrounding that party in that time. The CRA, unite the right, the new Conservative party and then Harper managed to wrest control from the Liberals with his minority and then majority government. I followed it all. When Harper won his first majority, I was on top of the world. I thought, finally Canada made sense. And where did all of that emotional/intellectual investment get me? Well, look around. Liberal majority government for 5 years followed by a Liberal/NDP coalition for the foreseeable future. I can see big picture where this country is headed and it’s bankruptcy. But not only that, we’re losing the culture war. Badly. And it’s now far worse than that with 1-2 millions “refugees” coming to Canada on a yearly basis, we are literally losing our country. I look around and see statues of Sir John A MacDonald being torn down and it doesn’t surprise me. Some stupid movement like Occupy Wallstreet or BLM rages through the US and the mindless idiots in Canadian politics latch on to it too.

All I know is that I’m going to control what I can control and that is my income. I’ve managed to scrimp and save up a bit of a nest egg and I’m preparing for early retirement. And I say that not in a good way. I mean, I’m going to retire sooner than I should. Because I’m not going to finance this downward spiral, nay, nosedive that we’re happily engaged in. I’m going to make it my life goal to pay zero income taxes. And I’m going to brag about it to all of those poor saps who need to continue pushing around the wheel of pain. In short, I’m going to sit back and enjoy the decline.

    1. Thanks Dick! I’m on the same trajectory. I don’t see Canada turning around before my rapidly approaching retirement years. I will enjoy the decline as well and starve the beast as best I can.

      1. I don’t see Canada ever turning around. Too far gone. There’s too much momentum with the other side. Fiscally we’re headed for bankruptcy, culturally we’re a morass, and democratically we’re badly broken. When there are relatively sane people in power, they don’t even really slow down the bleeding. I see a bunch of people like us who have to quit supporting the racket. Eventually it will all grind to a halt and maybe at that point there will be a realistic chance of turning things around. But to be perfectly honest, I’m more of a “vote with your feet” kind of guy now.

    2. Whoa, Smacky, you smacked me upside the head with a 2 by 6 with that one. That’s almost exactly my head tape loop lately.

An old friend and I were talking about this insane daily politics watch; he said he couldn’t stop, he had to know.

? Is this a form of vanity, looking at all the ba ba oblivious sheep all round and feeling superior ‘cos of knowing all this stuff you have zero control of!?!?

      1. Not sure if that was sarcasm: People have to stop. It’s literally the only hope in things changing. Social media has wasted so much human productivity over the last decade, it can’t go on very much longer.

I’ve referred to it as “non locally significant information.” Stick to locally significant information. Pay attention to the grocery store hours or how the local bakery is doing. Read your town rag. Ted Cruz grilling Jack Dorsey in some fake political theatre, uploaded to youtube as fast as our technologically marvellous but nearly useless 5G wireless network can do it, will mean less than town council voting to install a new stop sign. Way way less. Go to the next town meeting and try to convince them not to waste their money on that stupid solar array, but for god’s sake stop concerning yourself with the US supreme court.

    3. Dick, as an old man who managed to put “enough” away, I will tell you a truth that many are unwilling to say. The government spending and borrowing will decimate your “nest egg”. I have watched with concern, as the many dollars I put aside with an actual 10% inflation rate built into my investments, be reduced in spending power by liberal socialists, who are either liars or have no idea how an economy functions. Dick, unless you have millions, do not retire early. My program was to take me to death in my mid nineties, based on genetics, mine. While I have never been sure that the genes would be mine, I am sure that the government of Canada has inflated the dollar to the point where my 10% inflation hedge no longer exists. By the way, just for emphasis, CANADIANS ARE REALLY STUPID. Now put your mask on and go make some profit, no matter what it is you do.

      1. Yes, whitey.. you sound as deplorable as me. I’m well aware of the inflation risk, having watched Canada’s currency turn to piss over my lifetime. Canada is now a second rate country with a third or fourth rate currency. I have a significant and growing portfolio of dividend stocks that will act as a hedge against that inflation (he says naively). My strategy is to basically get to about $50k in dividend income per year, which is the threshold where you pay net zero income taxes federally and provincially. And when that happens, I’m done. It’s not today, but it’ll be soon. I don’t have millions, but I have never spent a single minute in the debt trap and I’m basically to the point where I can make sure my kids don’t have to get on that go nowhere treadmill.

Yes, Canadians are stupid. It’s a combination of conformism and immigration that is dumbing us down, year after year.

        Good luck man

      2. Exactly. That “consumer price index” and “keeping inflation to 2% annually” is a lot of crap. Just watch your food prices, but especially your home insurance premiums. That tells you what the insurance company plans for. It ain’t 2% annually. I’ve tracked my premiums for 22 years. Try an average of 6% a year….”inflation”. Even City taxes use 6%. Your 10% is a good number to work with, to keep ahead of things.
At 6% a dollar halves in 12 years….Rule of 72, or to put it another way….your cost doubles in 12 years.

    4. I have been retired for 3 years now. I always knew that “taxes and inflation” were going to get me. My property taxes have increased almost 24% in 6 years and my family and friends have noted with me the inflation happening at the grocery store just in the past 6 months. It will be very interesting to see what happens in the next 6 months.

  7. Strange, I didn’t see this story or anything about the Biden corruption on the Liberal Party’s CBC this morning. Just lots of stories that Canadians are racist bastards.

      1. SO THAT WE DON’T HAVE TO.
Ontario John is a very valuable and LOL provider of synopses of the machinations of our Liberal Party-owned-lock-stock-and-barrel MSM.

  8. I believe Jack knows if Trump is re-elected with a Republican Senate and House, that Trump will breakup Big Tech,(in the method of Regan), Trump wants to be more Regan, he wants to be bigger Regan and Jack knows it.
Jack just doing his part to protect Biden.

  9. Btw…just to give you a sense of what Conservatives are up against. The FBI had the laptop HD since December of last year. Yup, that long and they just sat on it.

The computer repairman after realizing what he had in his possession reached out to Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah, why him is anyone’s guess. Lee wasn’t interested. Weird huh? When he reached out to Giuliani’s lawyer, Rudy couldn’t get there fast enough.

Laura Loomer, who’s been in social media’s solitary confinement for the past year was assured by big talking Missouri senator Josh Hawley that he’d do everything in his power to make it right for her. What’s he done? Bupkis. He’s not even returning her calls. Liar.

Congressman Jim Jordan is another swamp critter. Talks a really good game but does absolutely nothing. In fact he does the complete opposite by telling his fellow Republican members to vote against antitrust legislation. He’s an absolute whore for Google campaign money.
It isn’t Democrats folks. It’s Republicans who are conning everyone.

  10. Boy-oh-boy that oughta learn ’em. /sarc Really, what a load of bluff and bluster. They’ve subpoenad these guys for years and they get bolder and bolder. The only way to hurt these guys is to bust them up into a bunch of smaller pieces and minimize the damage they can do.

  11. When reality becomes virtual reality and real people are replaced with bots, this word soup seems like something real.
But it is not. Reality is arrests, charges, and convictions. Until this happens, the word soup on the internet is not worth the bandwidth that it consumes.
When I was young decades ago, for a short while I took these torrents of word soup at face value, but decades of filthy rich people getting away with countless felonies convinced me that nothing matters anymore. The filthy rich will continue getting away, all while the quad-faced legal profession (enforcement, prosecutors, judges, and lawyers) wag their fingers at the small guy and gal and tell us to behave.
I keep them in crosshairs and just wait for the cracks in the establishment to grow deep and wide enough.

  12. Will there be perjury charges laid?

Or will they just declare them as publishers now and let people sue them for censorship, libel, and suppression of First Amendment rights?

  13. They are on it at The Hill:
“Trailing in polls, Trump campaign resurrects Hunter Biden attacks”

“Trump and his allies were quick to promote the story as evidence of corruption by the Bidens, but the allegations prompted questions about why the material was being released just 20 days before an election where Trump is trailing his Democratic rival in the polls.”

“In an unusual step, a Facebook spokesman said the platform would limit the distribution of the Post story while it underwent a fact-check. Twitter later blocked users from sharing the link to the Post story, saying it had been identified as “potentially harmful.””

    1. VOWG, I agree with you and must respectfully disagree with Dick on this one. Even if one is alienated from politics, and I agree that Canadian politics is terrible now, and that the Singh-Trudeau government will be out to exploit working and retired Canadians to the max.

But even so, all Canadians should be wired to the news to clue in to what the the elites will do to us. I agreec with VOWG that we have to prepare ourselves with the worst (save money and buy gold and silver).

As an economist I am thinking our economy is deep, deep trouble. I was up early this morning at 6 am, watching CNBC news, and they were talking about London and France shutting down. I had a minor anxiety attack.

  15. My fear as well VOWG – Canada is intentionally being steered over a fiscal cliff. Our nation is lost. I spend alot of time trying to educate liberals and fiscally illiterate conservatives on the clear and present danger. Utter waste of time. Most Canadians dont even understand the difference between debt and deficit. And if when we do go bankrupt – Canadians will happily state it will be Trumps fault.

Wexit is only way to survive – but dont hold much hope of that happening with Kenney running interference.
Actually considering taking the massive tax hit and leaving – before what I have saved is destroyed.

If Trump can beat the cheat and win again, that reality will get a step closer.

  16. Confederated Canada is doomed.
A good part of why reform was such a failure,is the simple fact of the USA.
If you have marketable skills and seek to maximize the return on investment or labour, the USA will reward you.
Confederated Canada will see that you are punished.
So most of those Canadians with Get Up and Go,got up and went.

For Socialist Canadians are really stupid and gravitate to Government Positions,so logically the path of least resistance and maximum profit and peace of mind..USA.
If you have the audacity to succeed in spite of all that Canada’s massive Bureaus, then the CRA will move in to sort you out.
Cheered on by Assault Style Liberal/NDP/Progressive Conservative Politicians.

For in Can Ahh Duh,your virtue is to be signalled by being “equal” with your fellow citizens..
Equally impoverished and enslaved to our Parasitic Overload.

    1. US hates you. They will go out of your way to deny you a work visa, and even if they issue it to you, a small-fish border guard is empowered to turn you away at the border.

  17. 1984.
Joe Biden has always been in contact with East Burisma.
    Everybody knows that….

That will be part of the media spin.
“Joe always said he was in contact with them and that he knew about his son’s business dealings.”

  18. Lots of talk about ignoring US politics.
Here is my take on it.
The chincks are hell bend on controlling the world. They unleased(on purpose imo)the pandemic on the world and wont quit until they achieve their goal.Trump is the ONLY person with enough smarts and balls to stop them. WHY wouldn’t you be interested AND concerned.

    1. Well, just wait and see Toad… I think Trump will get another 4 years, but I’m almost certain that the pendulum will swing back after that and the Democrats will shit all over everything he’s done. The only thing faster than the wall coming down is taxes being jacked up. 1st and 2nd amendments will be a poof of smoke. SCOTUS will be a harem of 27 judges, 24 of which will be partisan lunatic Democrats. See, Trump is a momentary reprieve and nothing more. He’s so bogged down in political bullshit, he can’t even begin to start taking out the trash. Oh, he’s trying, but it’ll all amount to nothing… China won’t have to fire a shot.

  19. They can subpoena him all they like. What crime has he committed? What crime has been committed? This is as stupid as Congress investigating steroid use in sports; it’s not any concern of the federal government what stories private companies choose not to carry. It’s not a concern of the federal government who a private company chooses to allow to use their services.

You all think encouraging the government to use its monopoly on the use of force to club down a big bad mean company that’s not breaking any laws, just because you don’t like them, is going to work out well for you? You really think that precedent is going to end well?

    1. Even the impotent Khanada has refusal to deal law. The problem with media giants is that they have it both ways: enjoying 1A but denying it to everyone else. Best of both worlds, like you, “conservatives” always want to have it. They are no different than 95% of the “pretend-conservatives” who swarm to this blog like flies to rotting meat.

    2. I totally agree with you… this is why I say until people decide themselves to smash these stupid screens into smithereens and start thinking for themselves, nothing will change. I would personally love the US government to say to these companies, ‘you are the town square now… you cannot censor or suppress anything without a court order.’ But I know it’ll never happen, so change for the better is just going to have to happen when people wake up.
