Clean Up In Aisle Democrat

The 1619 Project is a fraud

New York Times Magazine editors have quietly removed controversial language from the online version of Hannah-Jones’s 1619 Project, a package of essays that argue chattel slavery defines America’s founding. Hannah-Jones herself also asserts now that the project’s core thesis is not what she and everyone else involved originally said it was.

It “does not argue that 1619 is our true founding,” she said on Friday. She declared elsewhere in July that it “doesn’t argue, for obvious reasons, that 1619 is our true founding.”

This is a brazen lie.

  1. Lawsuits, the “Hammer” soon to be coming down? Something tells me that that “whiff of grape” is on it’s way.

  2. “Whiff of grape shot” is the quote I think you are looking for. Some French guy who had lingering crowd control problems

  3. It’s no small coincidence that these “organizations” have begun memory-holing their more controversial statements just after the feds banned Intersectional-based diversity training.

    1. Yep. We the taxpayers made all these cretin groups $$$$ Rich … while allowing them to tell us all how evil we are. “The message is the medium”? Uh no … “The medium is the cash”.

  4. In related media news, CNN and the Washington Post now state that not only is Trump a Russian agent, but members of congress are Russian agents as well. Russia! Russia! Russia! No mention of China. China is wonderful.

  5. Instead of vilifying America for it’s past when some democrats owned slaves, we should be celebrating how America rose up and ended slavery.

Now there are 14 million black people who live in the greatest country in the world, (perhaps with the exception of Wakanda) and not a single one of them wants to move to another country.

I should mention that millions black babies have been aborted by the Democrats fave charity ..Planned Parenthood over the past 40 or 50 years … you can correct my numbers if you know better.

So what does that say about America and black people.

      1. Like the Arabs before them? The slaves headed west could be intact, the male ones headed east got a much higher price if they weren’t “intact”.

    1. Just looked this up a couple days ago. Current black population just over 44 million. From 1973 (Roe v. Wade) to last year 14.5 million black babies aborted. That’s roughly a third of the current black population! Mindbogglingly horrific.

  6. Good. While we’re on the topic of brazen lies…throw Howard Zinn into the mix as well.
He’s ruined a generation or two with his Indian/Settlers mythical b.s.

  7. “New York Times Magazine editors have quietly removed …”

quietly, adverb. In a quiet fashion.
    syn: surreptitiously; sneakily; like a weasel;

  8. “deleted its oft cited “what we believe” page”

Sounds like Google getting rid of “don’t be evil” from its corporate charter. Down the memory hole.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book has been rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And that process is continuing day be day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except the endless present in which the party is always right.” ~ George Orwell

  9. deleted its oft-cited “what we believe” page

… because they no longre believe it or because the Dementoicrats told them to

  10. And now you know why so the socialists/fascists want to censor internet.
They just can’t handle the truth.

If it was not for the bloggers and those interested in the affairs of men, nobody would know the schemes of those bastards.
Got to be done over and over and over till no end.

  11. The 1619 Project and BLM are part of the uncivil discourse created by the Democrat Party to undermine America to hurt Trump. Now that the polls show it is backfiring on them, they are dialing it back.

  12. The biggest lie of the 1619 Project was in stating that that was the year slavery came to North America. Slavery existed on this continent long before Columbus in 1492; the indigenous people practiced it from early on.
