Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dead

Breaking now, of pancreatic cancer.

Let the games begin.

Update:

Outpourings of grief from the left…

104 Replies to “Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dead”

    1. Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a justice on the supreme court of the United States. She was one of the hard left justices on the court. With her passing it gives President Trump the opportunity to appoint a Justice that can tip the balance of power of the Supreme Court of the United States from the left to the right. His latest appointment of Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh was thought to be able to change the court from a left leaning court to a conservative court. However in recent decisions Chief Justice John Roberts has been siding with the left leaning Justices.

With Ruth Bader Ginsburg passing so close to the election it gives President Trump and the Senate republicans the choice to rush to fill the seat before the November election. Or they can look for a mandate and hold off on filling the vacant seat until after the elections, giving either newly elected President Biden or President Trump the opportunity to fill the seat then. Right now the Republicans control the Senate and can control the outcome of the vote on confirming the new justice. After the election the new Senate will have that power along with the party that takes control of it.

      1. While they control the Senate, there are 3 CINOS that may block this.
        Mittens. Traitor.
        Murkowski. Wishy washy corrupt Alaskan
        Collins. Another wish washy.
        Beer and Popcorn time

        1. “Murkowski. Wishy washy corrupt Alaskan”

The bridge to nowhere bitch already promised to sabotage.

      2. There also seems to be a window(for the current Senate) between the election and when the newly elected Senators take office(Jan 3th I think).
Democrats have already talked openly about creating more supreme court justice seats, and filling them with left leaning judges to take power back, if they regain the majority in the Senate and hold the Presidency.

      3. Firstly, in the event that the dems are able to steal the election from Trump, it is imperative that a conservative replacement be installed. It may be the last chance to turn the court right. I believe a great effort will be made to do so.

My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new president is installed.” RBG.

But can the SCOTUS wait four more years?

  1. Wow. Well that’s an interesting way to finish off the Jewish New Year. Jewish New Year starts at sunset. FOX is now doing the typical St Ginsberg the Wonderful routine that always happens when someone dies.

    1. While those who fear the Lord and keep His commandments rejoice, bless His name, and thank Him for at last ridding them of the apostate Ruth Bader.

          1. God is an American now.

Seems as though no one else want’s him. Still has some support in the GOP ranks.

  2. Wow.

If Trump nominates someone, to show his intent, and the Senate does not consent before the election can he nominate that person after the election?

  3. “How can they tell?”

Dorothy Parker upon hearing of Calvin Coolidges’ death

    1. My first thought as well. Stake her? Cut off head? Silver bullet? There’s so many forms of undead that could have accounted for her longevity…

  4. With Ruth Baader-Meinhof pushing daisies, Trump needs to act fast and nominate a new judge before November. This will drive the left bonkers. They will go rioting and looting and Trump will improve his chances for reelection beyond the margin of fraud. Two birds with one stone type of thing.

    1. Far too early. This will largely depend on the agreement between the President and the Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell. They may find it advantageous to leave this outstanding until after the election.

      1. McConell already stated that any nominee will get vote on the floor of the senate. So we know he’s up for it. So is Trump.

Murkowski may have to be horse-whipped to get on board, same with Romney, also that clown from Vermont, Susan Collins. …. If the election is stolen by the left, the supreme court will be turned left forever and so will everything else. This is last chance saloon folks.

    2. I agree with you 100% … on all points. The Senate majority is in peril … according to the Press and Polling … therefore, this may be PDJT’s last chance to save America for my Grandson!

And yes … what a wonderful “opportunity” for the FAR LEFT numbskulls to go on another couple months of RIOTOUS Anarchy. Let the Biden voters do their worst. 🙂

  5. Scream louder, Ruth, till the Son of the God of Israel, the Messiah you spent your whole life denying and persecuting, can hear you all the way from hell.

The demons finish faster that way.

May Joe Biden and Gyorgy Schwartz be the next notorious enemies of Christ to earn the wages of iniquity in full.

  6. Another dead General in the enemy camp!.. All hail to the Donald.. cbc, dribbling their panties as we speak..

  7. Remember when the Supreme Court shafted VMI (Virginia Military Institute)? Apparently, there are a million schools in this country, but there’s no room for male schools, male-only organizations, male-only restrooms. . . It’s the creeping totalitarianism of our keepers in robes, avatars of the fascist cult of wokeness.

“Writing for the majority, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg stated that because VMI failed to show ‘exceedingly persuasive justification’ for its sex-based admissions policy, it violated the Fourteenth Amendment,” yadda yadda yadda, and so on and so on and scoobie-doobie-doobie. There was no way harridans like Ginsburg were ever going to allow a male military-style school to continue, so the specific reasoning and wording the Court offered is just scat-singing — pointless Pravda.

  8. ??
    The cyborg failed?
I guess artificial intelligence ain’t viable when using alternate energy.
So the Supreme Court is ruthless at last?
    What timing.
Now the Demon possessed Nutcases will go even more retarded.
President Trump will play this for all it is worth, driving the Democrats and their RINO buddies completely batshit crazy.
I wonder what new crimes against society the Left can create,to accuse “to be announced” candidates for the Supreme Court.
If the President plays this right he can get the worst Liberals currently on the Supreme Court to blow a gasket, freeing up space for even more conservative constitutionalist picks.
    Winning,not sick of it yet.

    1. Whoever is nominated must not be a member of the lawyers’ cabal, like Gorsuch.

It should be a good American who values the rule of law and will understand that his job (and it must be a he) is to interpret the law, not to re-write it to the taste of the nation’s enemies.

      1. Exactly which decisions of Gorsuch do you disagree with?
AFAIK, he has always voted with Thomas, Alito, and Kavanaugh. When did he not do so?
I would love to have another Gorsuch.

And why must it be a “he”?

And you are wrong. The job of a Supreme Court justice is NOT to “interpret” the law, but to decide whether it is in accordance with the U.S. Constitution. That is the only reason for a case to be before the Supreme Court.

        1. Bostock v. Clayton County, when Gorsuch joined Ginsburg in declaring that employers were obliged to hire perverts. Just for example.

Gorsuch found some textual excuse. The real reason was that our Neil had had no trouble hiring sissies, his conservative image notwithstanding.

My guess is that Neil’s a sissy himself—sonething that should have been made known to the president BEFORE the confirmation, not after.

The alleged right of the Court to nullify laws it doesn’t like was not given it by the Constitution, and should not be recognized.

If there is a problem with the law, changing it is the responsibility of the legislature. It is the right of perverts in Congress to propose that businessmen be obliged to hire perverts, and the duty of decent people to insist the perverts step down and never again dare to pretend to speak for them—and vote accordingly.

The purpose of the Court was never to frustrate the will of the American people—the only sovereign in the United States, answerable but to God Himself. And the Court has no right to do so.

          1. Thank you. That’s one that just happened I wasn’t aware of.
I hope it is not a harbinger. I tend to doubt it. In any case, only liberal justices are required to be 100% automatons by their side. I only require a justice to vote as his conscience dictates, and I recognize I am not going to get 100% agreement with anyone. I just think that in the case of Roberts something else is going on.
Unlike you, I am not immersed in deviant sexuality. I have no idea what anyone else’s is, nor do I care.
The Supreme Court’s first chief justice, John Marshall, established the right of the Supreme Court to review the constitutionality of laws, by his court’s interpretation of the Constitution. That right has not been challenged lo these two hundred years or more, and would not be challenged now by the strictest constitutionalists on the court, such as Thomas.

          2. OldBruin, dare I suggest that they be required to follow the Constitution and not their conscience.

          3. Gorsuch was most likely influenced by that phrase in the preamble … “that all men are created equal”. Do I personally want to be FORCED to hire a LGBT or Q? Not particularly. But there are subtle, legal, ways in which to circumvent such a decision.

OTOH … I have worked with many terrifically talented Gay men. ALL of whom, were focused 100% on their work. When we did have a discussion about their “lifestyle choice” (sorry … but until they map a gay gene …) … they were always willing to discuss and debate without a trace of “victimhood”.

All men are created EQUAL … and America is the bastion of Equal OPPORTUNITY. Every man should have an equal OPPORTUNITY for employment (aka pursuit of happiness) … but no protection from FIRING for CAUSE. Either cut it, or don’t. But you cannot allow the Law to empower an L, G, B, T, or Q to claim discrimination … when they just sucked at their job! Oops … poor turn of a double entendre

    2. Hahahahahahaha

Thinking of all the exploding leftist heads if that happened. Wonderful idea. There would be nothing in the US left to burn after a year of all-pro leftrash rioting.

He’d be at least as originalist as Clarence Thomas and wouldn’t go turncoat like Gorsuch on the lgbtqwerty vote.

I bet he’d retire from his show in a heartbeat for that.

Nice thought but he’d never get confirmed.

      mhb23re

  9. Reminds me of the saying “science advances one funeral at a time”

I love -and am looking forward to- the smell and sounds of meatheads exploding morning noon and night as they contemplate a Trump appointee…

  10. She said she would resign when her health wouldn’t allow her to work.

Like a good DeMarxist, SHE LIED.

    Nominate NOW POTUS.

  11. She’s been dead for months, no public appearances, recorded messages, it was the Castro game.

There is only The Sacred Narrative. The Oracles of the Sacred Narrative have prophesied that the only thing they have left to motivate their demoralized base, is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, Sacrament of Infanticide is under attack, we need Biden to appoint the next justice.

  12. As far as nominees Trump has been ahead of the other side for some time.
He already created and published a short list for court appointments.
All he has to do to ignite the head explosions openly speculate that he’s considered three or four people from that list.
The democrats will immediately do a Kavanaugh on all of them and remind the entire voting public how they willingly tried to destroy someone with lies and false accusations.

    1. Greaaat, angry insane rants about someone’s teenaged junk-pics, or random crazy stalking-horses ranting about unprovable evil.

Then once they get done with Trump, they’re really going to beat up his nominee.

      1. Apparently in June, Biden has he would appoint a black woman. Tonight on FOX, Laura says there are only two black women that potentially sit on the Supreme court. One was from Cali. the other I didn’t catch where she was from.

  13. The devil collected his due from another far left sociopath who sold her soul in return for earthly power.

  14. I’m passing out candy on this one. I mean, who “works” until 87 years of age? Well, who’s next? Pelosi? She’s 80. I’d pass out 2 bags of candy, like on Halloween, for that one.

  15. McConnell will flinch being an establishment Republican and bail.

He would employ principles Dems would laugh at as they installed one of their own activists posing as a justice if they had the chance.

This is war, so fight don’t feign false virtue.

    1. That’s Senator McConnell to you.

And the Senate, which still represents the American people and not the dregs of Third World hellholes, can still be trusted to confirm a good American who values the rule of law, and will vote, if necessary, to block any and all attempts by the lawyers’ cabal to allow Joe Biden to usurp the presidency against the will of the American people.

The apostate Joan Ruth Bader is in hell. The rule of the lawyers’ cabal should be finally be cast into the flames with her, and the rule of law restored in the United States.

  16. Time for a hot supreme court justice. You know, in the interest of diversity, inclusivity, and affirmative action. I hereby nominate Amy Coney Barret. Hubba hubba

  17. I seldom drink but I may open a bottle of wine and toast this effing bitch’s death. The number of unborn babies her actions have killed have made her the largest mass murderer in history. Burn in hell you POS.

  18. Seeing my dad struggle on life support these past couple months in an ICU. I don’t want to say anything mean. God rest her soul and condolences to her family.

    1. Your Dad I am sure is an excellent father and husband. This bitch was not. She deserves all the pain and suffering she gets for all the unborn lives she took. Save your sympathy and support for your beloved father. Do not waste it on her.

    2. May the delights your father enjoys in the bosom of Abraham include the sound of Ginsburg’s screams of eternal torment.

Her children probably know better than we do what an awful woman and mother she was, neglecting them for the sake of her miserable career.

By all reliable accounts the only dish Joan Ruth Ginsburg, née Bader, was able to prepare was an almost inedible version of tuna casserole. Mrs. Ginsburg would have done the world more good by learning to cook something fit to feed her children than by literally anything she accomplished as a member of the lawyers’ cabal.

  19. Well, given the state of the Biden/Harris campaign, I guess the Dems now have a new poster/rally cry.

  20. The Dems must be apoplectic, well they always are, but this puts them well over the top.
    Trump options:
A – appoint a new justice on the right side of the constitution.
B – hold off till the war after the election when the Dems try to use the SCOTUS to decide the election.

The Dems were banking on Roberts to call it. I think blackmailed (they didn’t just spy on Trump).
Option A, what if the appointee has his family threatened/blackmailed?
    Option B, a hung jury.
Trump wins on Option B and Option A if they can be protected, which can be done.
    What a mess.
    Almost as bad as Trudeau.

  21. A list of the candidates who President Donald J. Trump has put forth as likely nominees in the event of an opening on the SCOTUS.

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump_Supreme_Court_candidates

And the widely presumed next candidate…

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amy_Coney_Barrett

… in the name of diversity, it should be noted that if she is nominated and confirmed, she’d be the only non Yale/Harvard educated jurist.

Having clerked for former jurist Scalia, I doubt for any concerns regarding her decisions.

    1. No. The new justice must be a man, and must not be a member of the lawyers’ cabal.

A Congressman with a distinguished military career would be perfect. Let the globalists ask his views on capital punishment, and for once get an honest answer.

(“Some people earn a violent death. I have killed many people for making war on the United States, and in my opinion every last one richly deserved to die. If you object to the law’s putting murderers to death, sir, changing the law to allow them to go free to kill again is your job. It would not be mine. Sir.”)

So Barrett went out for Scalia’s coffee once. That doesn’t qualify her for much.

What I want to know is what Antonin Scalia ever saw in Ruth Bader, unless he was told in puberty by older boys that ugly Jewish girls were easy.

I’ll say this much—pleasing your enemies doesn’t make them your friends. One day we’ll find out who murdered him. I doubt Ruth lifted a finger to stop them.

      1. No suggestions for better choices? I’ll choose to ignore your comment. Whinging about what won’t work doesn’t help. Suggest something/someone who might.

        1. Tom Cotton, who quit the lawyers’ cabal to serve with distinction in the US armed forces. He would be perfect.

  22. Alternately. The Nov 4 election will certainly be litigated before the SCOTUS. But with the vacancy it is a 5 to 3 split for the right. So if the position is unfilled and the election goes to the SCOTUS not good odds for the Dems

    1. Two of the “conservatives” on that bench have already shown the are more than willing to go against the constitution and sane rational policies and vote with the left.

  23. Too funny:

Your CBC writer (or maybe the AP) doesn’t know what the word “facile” means.

“On the court, where she was known as a facile writer . . . ”

I mean, I’d agree, but I doubt that’s what they were trying to say.

  24. Pity the poor Mexican maid who pulled out the plug labelled “Iron Lung” and substituted her vacuum cleaner in its place.
    Acaramba.

  25. I was raped by whomever the Democrats drag out to accuse RBG’s replacement of rape.

I’m not sure when or where it happened….

    1. You poor dear. Start writing your memoirs, we can guarantee $1 million in the next 3 quarters if you… (/NYT)

  26. The moment I read the the news, I immediately sensed that RBG would instantly become the most hated person from the deranged Leftists. Kate’s inclusion of the latter Twitter post proves me right.

    RIP Ms. Ginsburg.

    1. Why? it’s not like the President sent it. Or someone on the right is threatening violence.

The left lacks enough self awareness to understand how this could be a problem.

  27. It wont be a Trump appointment unless he wins a 2nd term. No time left on the clock. Remember how long it took Kavanaugh. The Dems wouldn’t agree to a DJT nominee and besides that there is a law or tradition that forbids a president from appointing a SC judge in the last year of a presidential term. The republicans blocked obama from doing it. I think it’s called the Biden rule oddly enough.

    1. mcconnell can call for a vote of a nominated for supreme by the president anytime, he’s the majority leader of the senate. it might not be acceptable ,but it is constitutional and the political bonus is that the demoterrorist will virtually sh*t a brick!

    2. He is president until January, win or lose, and new senators do not get seated (and old ones remain) until January.
There is 3 1/2 months even if Hiden Biden wins or senate flips.

    3. There’s no law. It’s only “tradition” insofar as sitting presidents in prior cases did not enjoy a majority Senate presence.

Trump should absolutely do this whether or not it affects his 2nd term; the right SCOTUS choice will impact the US for decades after his presidency.

      mhb23re

  28. I am appalled at some of the comments I am seeing here.

Sure, I am not one who goes all in with RBG. I believe she is an activist, who makes decisions based on feelings rather than the actual law. I still am fundamentally in full disagreement with some of her decisions, particularly when it comes to life vs choice issues, but then, that’s just my opinion.

The fact of the matter is, like her or not, RBG was an extraordinary woman, with a great many accomplishments. She is indeed a woman that will be looked upon favorably in history.

Rather than plotting strategy over a person’s demise, especially a person of such historical significance, please let’s pause and take a moment to honor RBG, and the life she has lead, filled with a great many accomplishments.

Let’s just wait until after she’s buried before the scheming, plotting, and strategising continues. There will be plenty of time for that, even before the election.

Allow me, in a measure of some respect, to offer condolences to RBG’s family.

    1. History will record she attempted to deligitimize the Supreme Court into another liberal tool by totally disregarding the U.S. Constitution. That is her “great accomplishment.” Which she had a great part in achieving, unfortunately, before President Trump.
I for one do not believe in not speaking ill of the dead, if I had always spoken ill of her when she was alive. Her foul deeds do not become not foul just because she died. Should we have eulogies for Hitler, Stalin, and Mao? She tried to turn the U.S. into a socialist dystopia by what is within her power to do, as much as those other gentlemen did within their powers.
Scheming and plotting? Filling a vacant seat in the Supreme Court is now scheming and plotting? Fulfilling Constitutional obligations by the President and Senate is now scheming and plotting?
Mourn for her all you want. That is your prerogative. I won’t, and that is mine. And I will tell you right now, nor will I if Breyer, Sotomayor, or Kagan had to resign, let’s say, during President Trump’s next term. For the sake of the Republic, I will rejoice.

    2. Have you seen any of the Democrat memorials in election years? Outright nasty. Not about the individual, about someone that the individual might have seen some time. Targeted on the enemy, anyone who disagrees with the dead, and how evil those others are. We’re talking about the individual who died. Yes, we’re not talking about her nicely. We’re not talking about her nicely because of the damage that she has done to a nation that most of us love (whether we live there or not).

Yes, may she rest in peace. But why was she so hateful as to hold onto a job that she couldn’t do for years just to spite those who disagree with her? Sometimes karma is a bitch.

    3. Fc. You are the reasons conservatives always lose. I’m sure you are a nice person blah blah blah. But when we continually get kicked in the teeth over and over and over at some point you need to pick up a shovel and fight back.
The bitch is dead. I spit on her grave. And I make sure her family knows it.

  29. “I believe she is an activist, who makes decisions based on feelings rather than the actual law.”

Then why the hell would I respect that? I’m sick to death of that sh*t.

  30. F all never blumpf jerks. If they had gotten their principled conservative Hillary victory it’d be 3 Hillary nominees. Instead it’s 3 Trump ones but these turds are still on the never blumpf/democrat train like all true cons. Seriously Romney and the rest should just be Dems.

  31. Harold Macmillan: “Events, dear boy, events.” Will President Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell step up to the plate?

  32. May her family receive comfort at this difficult time.

And kudos to her for stating that both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh were “ very smart and decent men.”

  33. What is the parallel for this?
A great sports referee has died?
The judges are in many ways the referees.
Why is it such a great tragedy when one of their referees dies?
Why are referees playing for one team or the other in the first place?

The reason that the left go nuts over supreme court judges is because they do not appoint judges or referees, they appoint team players.
They can’t win unless the game is rigged by having judges that don’t follow the law nor the Constitution.

  34. There is some speculation she has been dead for a while. This would not surprise me. I am thinking they perhaps wanted to turn the new appointment into an election issue. If Trump appoints an anti-abortion conservative or threatens to, Dems will get elected on a plan to increase and stack the court. I can see the Democrat base coming out for this. It’s a dangerous game.

  35. Does her mail-in vote still count?
What about her other two? (for the humor challenged, just joking)

  36. I see danger, violence, and vitriol, arising out of this event! In truth, my phone beeped about 4.45 pm WST to advise she had passed, and I did an immediate fist bump, then chastised myself. I am sorry for her family that she has passed, I am not sorry for the USA that she has passed. I experienced an immediate sense of relief and an immediate sense of foreboding both at the same time. She was a champion activist for the left, and now they hate her for not retiring during the Obama presidency, and therefore allowing him to install another activist champion for the left. So, considering her insistence that she would continue to preside on the supreme court until her inability or death, is she really a champion now, for the right?

Unfortunately, this is so close to a very heavily even split election, that this could be the tipping point of a civil war, if Trump forwards a quick nomination, and I believe he will, the opportunity is just too delicious to pass up, and the left will have their heads exploding 24/7. This adds a giant new layer to the election, one that will cause conniptions to reverberate through the next 40 years. This will be an epic election of giant proportions. If this wasn’t the most important election of our time, (it is) This wrench tossed in to the cauldron now, will ensure that it is. We will be witness to either the rebirth, or the death, of the idea of America, as it was first envisioned 244 years ago. Interesting times indeed.
