As someone mentioned a while back, the quote comes from the Black Sox scandal of 1919, and it’s “Say it AIN’T so, Joe.” That colloquial form was important to the reaction to the scandal. “Isn’t” ain’t the word in this case.

  8. The REAL STORY isn’t that Slippery Fingers Joe uses a teleprompter for everything,,, it’s that the media are willing partners in hiding that fact from the American public !

    Obama used a teleprompter for many events, even when talking to elementary school children,,, so the Democrats have plenty of experience with this technology,,, for all we know, Obama may have used it for his Late Night TV Show appearances too.
