Art Of The Deal

And now Bahrain: President Trump on Friday announced that Bahrain has agreed to normalize relations with Israel, another diplomatic win for the president coming after a similar agreement with the United Arab Emirates just last month.

More from Roger Simon;

Cementing those ties, Bahrain Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa will be arriving in Washington Monday to attend the Tuesday ceremony where Israel and the UAE will formalize their ties, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Saudi Arabia—that is known to have been sharing intelligence with Israel for some time and is now allowing overflights of its territory by El Al—seems poised for a similar recognition.

    1. Trump should have been given a peace prize for his efforts with North/South Korea.

What a contrast with Canada’s grovelling foreign policy. Our unprincipled politicians, most of who are devoid of any semblance of character, declare that Canada is back and that the world needs more Canada. What bullshit platitudes. Their idea of foreign policy is mostly predicated on how to personally benefit themselves from trade deals and foreign aid.

There was a time not too long ago when, if any US president had brokered peace deals between Israel and UAE, Israel and Bahrain, and Serbia and Kosovo, the news would have been plastered with the news for days upon end.

        Now: Cancel the Nobel.

If it aint my truth, cancel it!

  1. No wonder that both parties of the Washington Swamp and media experts hate him.
They couldn’t do it in 50 years, he makes it look easy.

  2. I’m going to say “cascading”.

We shall see where it goes, naturally, but I highly doubt that these are not inter-connected events, and that there are not other events soon to follow.

  3. FOX News is reporting that CNN and MNBC news censored any mention of the peace deal last night (Friday night).

  4. In modern history, best President ever.

If canada had a Trump, he might even be able to save this craphole. (Jk, Canada’s not salvageable)

  5. I doubt that the commies who run the Nobel Laugh house will ever …. EVER …. give Trump his just rewards for what he is doing in the middle east and elsewhere.

Trump came in and looked at America as a home based business in trouble. He had a lot of adjustments to make and a lot of smart deal making to get things done.

Unlike professional politicians, Trump is wired to get things done. And he knows how to do it after a lifetime of getting things done in a big way. Americans are sooooo fortunate that this man stepped at the right moment in history … We all are fortunate. He makes them all look like the chumps that they are.

Trump is good for the western world’s (mainly America’s) continued leadership in a crazy world getting crazier every day.

  6. The more haters this annoys, frustrates, angers and embitters, the better because that makes normal people smile.
Somebody needs to ask Joe & Kamala what they think of these peace deals because normal people need to laugh as well.

Wasn’t DJT supposed to start a war?
How many American soldiers has he saved from death and dismemberment in some useless war compared to if Hillary had been elected?

  7. Is Oman next? That is the next small one to watch.
Qatar, home of the Al-Jazeera media group, will probably not be on the next list but who really knows for sure.
The big question is when for, the real prize in these negotiations, Saudi Arabia?
Will Saudi Arabia be fifth after Oman, or will it be sixth after either Morocco or Sudan or will it be seventh after both?
I do not know, but Saudi Arabia is the big prize.
I am expecting Oman before the election – the others not so sure.

  8. The Liberal Party’s Saturday Toronto Star had it buried in the back pages. If it had of been Obama it would have been on the front pages for a week.

  9. Go President Trump.
I hope they have a fix to the cheating Dems in November.
We are all screwed if Biden gets in.

    1. Here’s hoping there are debates.
      If Biden falters, he’s done.

Can’t wait for such beauties as:

Trump: During your 8 years as VP in the Obama Administration, do you realize that you dropped a bomb every 8 minutes?

U.S. military forces have been at war for all eight years of your and Obama’s tenure, the first two-term president with that distinction. You and he launched airstrikes or military raids in at least seven countries: Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Somalia and Pakistan.

      My administration?
      No wars.
Well except maybe with the media.

Biden: C’mon man, there you go again.

Blaming brown countries and black presidents. “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.”
You should be colorless and blind like me.
I’m your hands on Uncle Joe.
      I’m here against gay marriage.
      Against abortion.
      Against school busing.
Hold it. What year is it?

Let me rephrase dear democratic moderator……you dog-faced pony soldier……..

  10. As certain as the Democrats will attempt to roll out a new controversy this month that shows how much of a nazi (worst Nazi ever!!) they claim President Donald J. Trump to be, there’ll be other announcements of treaties between Israel and the surrounding warmongering states. Saudi Arabia has in the past week +/- allowed Israeli air traffic over their territory, so they (the big announcement) should be on the radar too.

If recognition / peace treaties continue to be announced like “this week’s newest peace treaty” with regularity in the next 6-7 weeks, only the Democrats and leftists looking in will be surprised. It’s on the left that they were unable to bring these two sides to the table over the past few generations.

It is on the Nobel Committee, that they’ll overlook this achievement and give it to one of the others. No less noteworthy than giving it to President Obama as the first affirmative action president.

  11. The difference is simple….and explains the outrage by those expecting WAR & domination

The Marxist/Communist want a “ONE” World Government. The World Control over the Sovereignty of ALL Nations….

The Trump peace treaties are between independent “Sovereign” Nations….NO OVERTHROWN NATIONS

  12. Is this Jared’s work yielding fruit?

It looks like the Middle East is choosing the US lead under Trump over Russia under Putin.

All very good news that we likely won’t hear on the CBC.

  13. Oil is the number one (or only) money maker for these ME states. Prices will never soar again due to the fracking revolution, the US’s energy independence and a China slowdown. The writing has been on the wall for some time – that the days of OPEC dominance are over – but Trump had to drive the point. Economic and diplomatic normalization in the region is the only sensible path to stability and away from persistent, and costly, tension and militarization.

Life will now be even more difficult for the Iranian mullahs who will be increasingly seen by the people as the only real obstacle to prosperity and stability.

  14. Most of my life I have flatly stated, “There will NEVER be peace in the middle east”. Most middle east nations were so opposed to ever accepting Israel as a sovereign state, and most also overtly showed hate for Israel, and the Jewish people. I do not care much for Trump the man, but what Trump the president has done and is still doing, achieving amazing goals both domestically and internationally. The left will never accept this man as the true leader he has become. If hate was a commodity, the left would buy it all. As the left’s hate increases exponentially, the middle east hate for the Jewish people, and Israel, is likewise diminishing. I’m beginning to think that hate has actually migrated from the middle east to reside in the black hearts of the lefty world.

I don’t see how the Nobel Peace Committee can legitimately avoid or refuse to accept these Trump nominations, but they might, I am not sure of any potential political leanings they may have, as that would simply demonstrate their left bias, in this increasingly polarized world. Once that happens, they will never again be seen as a beacon of light for rewarding individuals who achieve great works, including working for peace. Alfred Nobel invented dynamite, by infusing Nitroglycerin into sawdust, to make it stable to transport and use. He became very rich from his invention, but didn’t want to be remembered as the man that created this product, that potentially, could be misused for war, damage, and violence, and from what I understand, left most of his vast fortune, to create the peace award committee, that bears his name!
