Jeebers!!! If the top echelon has been “captured” then the rot actually runs all the way to the lowest ranks. These “leaders” have been exemplars to their subordinates as they rose through the ranks by resorting to corrupt practices. The rank and file quickly learns that doing things “by the book” doesn’t get early promotions, while corrupt coercion of targets and witnesses puts you on the fast-track to the top.

The problems with the FBI cannot be fixed by firing a few folks who got caught. It has to be ripped out, root and branch, and then replaced using outside resources. Worse, you need to be prepared to repeat that process about every 15-20 years.

    1. That’s why they only ever catch the little fish, deplorables and the odd showstopper(Martha) to entertain and fool the Plebes.
It’s not like anyone really responsible will pay a price.
I hope they all live long happy fat rich lives.
While Conservatives scratch in the dirt of the local Baffin Island re-education/thought behaviour camp.

Canadians as a whole are beyond pathetic and beyond parody.
Conservatives? If there is anyone in this country that deserves to suffer, it is they.
Whiny complainy folks, so apathetic and docile they accept pretty much anything with nary a peep.
They have watched the loss of their country without stirring.
There are just not the words to describe such worthless entities.
Contemptible, third rate, cowardly, feeble, miserable, despicable, hapless, wretched, uncaring……….
      Just not enough appropriate words.

“Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it.”
      ― Thomas Paine

“The degree of liberty or tyranny in any government is in large degree a reflection of the relative determination of the subjects to be free and their willingness and ability to resist efforts to enslave them.”
― Gene Sharp, From Dictatorship to Democracy

      Not in Canada? Pity.

  2. There was a class of 15 kids. They had a homework assignment. Next day, the teacher asked for the homework and Andy said “the dog ate my homework.” And the teacher went round the class and it turned out that the dog ate everyone’s homework. Not the same dog. A different dog in each house. But each family’s dog acquired a taste for homework, on the same night. In a few homes they didn’t even have a dog, and a dog must have crept in to eat the homework.

This sort of thing happens all the time. Nothing to see here, move along.

And the stonewaller Wray (installed by Trump, thanks to a stupid recommendation from Chris Christie) is no better, protecting the criminals still there and those who fled. Trump needs to can this guy right after the election, and begin the housecleaning.

      1. Wouldn’t that be nice? Never gonna happen. Was this blatant “obstruction of justice” by our supposed TOP Law Enforcement Officials … “intentional”? No Federal Prosecutor could say for sure … so no one will be prosecuted. Which will only embolden every single Deep State actor just waiting for their own “cell” to be activated …

        1. Kenji,
Interesting that if Trump wins the Noble Prize…He will be bullet proof enough that Obama MAY get indicted for Treason…along with his henchmen…. That’s the only way it ends….They all did what Obama wanted and after Jan 2017 that became Treason

          JMHO

        2. Trump should personally fire everyone of the “deleted phone” agents, everyone of them, and base it on Incompetence/stupidity nothing more.
Make them defend/justify their stupidity in any wrongful dismissal suit.
          And ..YES.. do it now.

          1. Please! That sounds completely reasonable to me. And what are these people doing NOW? For their high 6-figure incomes? Nothing important, or valuable to the American people I am sure …

    1. I thought that Chris Christie may have flipped…They had him in a hard place….Trump’s advisors have not been Straight Shooters.

  4. Seriously though, while not being for or against Qanon, nor being Job who did manage to get an answer,
& that there is nothing that can not be retrieved given the will,
& that every touch does leave a trace
& due to a court ruling from back in the 1950s, that US military intelligence does outrank all other intelligence agencies,
… what is taking so long?

  5. “The top echelon of the FBI has been completely captured by organized crime. Change my mind.”

They are are organized and they are criminals. Nobody “captured” them. That goes for all of the Alphabet Federal agencies, not just FBI.

  6. “Organized Crime” would imply a profit motive behind all the corruption and obfuscation but this is worse than that as the motive behind this action is political. This is more like treason but treason supported by half the nation, the half that punches above it’s weight due to cultural dominance. Unions are a better example of organized crime IMHO.

Everyone involved or who had to have known about it and didn’t act should be fired immediately and investigated for criminal charges.

  7. I was once a supporter of all federal law enforcement. Like the Dodo, that has passed. The crimes of the fbi are numerous and well documented. It’s time these criminals faced prosecution and punishment. If this crap of civil war II happens after DJT’s reelection, the fibbers should probably disappear for a long while. They are on the list in many little black books.

    1. +++ sort…… none of them are to be trusted in the current forced march towards communism. Damn it , I never thought that my fellow citizens would become such cowards. But here we are and truth shows just that.

  8. Why should we believe anything coming from someone who apparently doesn’t have enough mental faculties to remember a 4 (or 6) digit number? Every time any one of these people say something in public, this should be pointed out.

  9. This is not how you conduct a criminal investigation.
You do not send emails – you send detectives and bring whomever in possession of those devices to the office, where they turn their pockets inside out.
Why double standard? Why is this done to unwashed masses but not to the targets of this investigation? Police has no qualms about barging into people’s homes to take whatever they are looking for.
