  3. Then there’s today’s deal between Bahrain and Israel mediated by Trump. It is getting to the point of embarrassment and pettiness if they turn him down.

  4. Professional Diplomats have been trying to use the Mideast Peace Process for 40 years. The same failed process. Tell Israel to make nice with the Palestinians. Release terrorists and murderers. The US and Europe shovel millions and billions of dollars to the Palestinians. After the Palestinians steal all they can, they walk away from the peace table, and go back to killing Jews.

    Forty years.

    President Trump has turned it around. Make peace between Israel and the Arabs. Leave the Palestinians outside, looking in.

    Soon the Palestinians will have no support. The Palestinians may even have to stop trying to kill Jews someday.

    1. Maybe you don’t understand what is happening here while missing the big picture, but imo there is some room for optimism.

      Nobody thought possible these kinds of alliances and many believed moving the Israeli Embassy to Jerusalem meant war.

      That didn’t happen because Trump’s foreign policy, all his own BTW after jettisoning the neocons, has proven effective, with another waved magic wand Dems thought and hoped, once out of power themselves, impossible.

      The strong horse is again proving the be the dominant factor in ME politics and muting the despots.

      Sunni Saudi Arabia, UAE and now Bahrain aren’t making peace with Israel because they’ve become tolerant of Israel or want to be their friends, or even because they see the futility of continuing to oppose her, it’s because their interests coincide in the struggle against Shia Iran’s attempts to be the hegemonic power in the Middle East.

      Add to that military technology obviates the need for large military invasions, just well placed cruise missiles and drones, which means it’s in the strategic interests of the United States to have a relatively peaceful ME coupled with a strong Israel.

      All of them allied against the Iranian mullahs, containing and deterring them, and hopefully causing their removal from power.

      This is about interests and measures leading to possible peace, or at least less war, rather than peace itself.

  6. Of course the CBC didn’t mention the second peace deal reached today. Most of the American networks didn’t either. If this had happened under Obama it would be 24 hr. coverage and he would receive awards for the next ten years. Mind you, the CBC hasn’t even mentioned 9/11 on its website today.

Those of us who believe the Bible and see the signs pointing to the fact that we are indeed living in the End Times know a peace deal has to be made to fulfill prophecy which leads to Christ’s second coming. Well, which leads first to the Rapture – the taking away of the church, then Christ’s Return.
    For no other reason than to see the Dems squirm, I do hope he is awarded both.

  12. The left and the Dems are understandably upset that Trump (the source of all evil in the world) had 2 peace prize nominations. But no, their heads aren’t exploding. They know their friends and allies in the mainstream media will downplay it as much as possible, and they also know that the Nobel Committee (the nut bars that gave a peace prize to Gore for making a fake documentary and to Obama for winning an election) will NEVER award it to Trump for actually achieving peace, no matter how many nominations or how strong his case is.

That they are just as corrupt as the rest of the lefties. It will be interesting to see if they turn themselves in to pretzels trying to wiggle out of agreeing to those nominations.

  13. It is really becoming painfully obvious what a bunch of chumps we’ve been taken for by all these govt elites. Squandering our hard earned tax dollars on their lobbyists, caviar parties on the French Riviera etc, as they control us with fear of wars, plagues, ozone, global cooling, global warming and so on.

    Thank God for Trump coming along and demonstrating how easy all this is for one man to accomplish, never mind a whole battalion of useless bueaucrats. AND, all accomplished with the majority of those bureaucrats etc working against him.

    There’s hope for the USA.

    Too bad the majority of canadians are too stupid to grab a clue. We’ll get Trudeau, or Freeland or maybe even Singh next time around. Circling the toilet.

      Yes, well until 1948 there was no Israel.
      So given that Egypt(one of the few countries mentioned by name in the Bible over 2000 years ago still in existence) and Israel reappearing to sign a Peace Accord, she was understandably more aware of the significance than certain other people.

Then to balance it out D played a clip from Dave Rubin who’s done a 180 on Trump. Clip she played had Rubin take a shot at the Never Trumpers, Bill Crystal David Frum etc., not understanding how ridiculously stupid it is to hate Trump (as conservatives) to the point they’d vote Hillary… Biden / Bernie. I laughed because QR’s resident Hater Breakenridge was in the studio with her preparing his show. The other day BTW Breakenridge did a segment on the Atlantic story when it just broke saying he didn’t know how Trump could survive this. Hot tip Haters… maybe wait 24 to 48 hrs before making fools of yourselves. You’d think they’d know by now.

    If it were me, I’d refuse the Nobel contemptuously. I don’t want to get something tainted by the likes of Arafat, Gore and Obama. They’ll probably give it to “How Dare You Greta”, or that idiot in Canada.

    As to the Middle East, I don’t think it will hold, but I’m amazed it’s gotten this far, and we can always hope… I think the President must have just told them all he was fed up with their bullshit, and made the believe him.

    The Rapture is an invention; it’s nowhere in Scripture. Sorry…
