    1. Democracy is the theory that the common people know what they want, and deserve to get it good and hard. – H. L. Mencken

      Had to be said.

Never miss an opportunity to point this out to lefty voters when they start to notice the blindingly obvious.

  1. I am constantly reminded by Canada’s mainstream media and their Washington correspondents that mail-in voting is perfectly fine and that any mention of potential fraud is “false” and “unsubstantiated” (how exactly can one dis-prove that a future event will not be fraudulent? Makes my head hurt just typing that.)

    Oh, wait…

    1. From the Detroit News story….

“The election results for the primary weren’t incorrect, said Jonathan Kinloch, a Democrat and one of the canvassing board’s four members. But, he said, something had gone wrong in the process of tracking ballots precinct by precinct.

Having balanced precincts is particularly important in Michigan because precincts whose poll books don’t match with ballots can’t be recounted, according to state law. Instead, the original election results would stand.

“It was a perfect storm,” Kinloch said.”

      1. On November’s upcoming US Election… here’s what the government official in charge of Detroit’s voting system said…

“(Detroit City Clerk Janice) Winfrey also said Thursday that people shouldn’t “expect perfection or anything close” to it after elections staffers have worked more than 20 hours.”

    2. As I have asked many times, HOW DO YOU VERIFY WHO VOTED? If you can’ do that with every ballot or vote then the vote is null and void.

      1. They can invent great things, put men on the moon even, but they can’t invent flawless voting procedures?

It is because they don’t want to.
Too much at stake, power, money etc.

This is maddening, maddening, I say!!

      2. They can in third world countries that cannot afford fancy machines in every precinct.
They require in person voting with paper ballots, after ascertaining the identity of the voter.
After voting, the voter’s left thumb is immersed in indelible ink. It’s a nice way to say “I voted” and assure he will not vote again.
It’s really simple if your object is not to cheat.

          1. I remember seeing photos of women proudly exhibiting purple fingers to show they had exercised their right to vote.

  2. Another month and yet no one is capable of making any serious decisions about anything. This has been the longest running flu fraud in history.

  3. Rex Murphy has a new story at the National Post. Although I will be complaining to him about using my trade marked words, racist bastards.

  4. Stumbled across this the other day and it gave me a chuckle.
A Cole’s notes background: In the 1920’s Robert Goddard, a literal rocket scientist, suggested that rockets could send ships or payloads into space and even outlining how unmanned rockets could be sent to the moon. Talk about someone ahead of his time.
The NYTimes picked up on his claims and proceeded to ridicule him in an editorial telling its readers how ridiculous a premise this is because rockets cannot possibly work in space. Totally misreading Newton’s third law.
Yeah, you heard that right…the New York Times thought they knew better than an actual rocket scientist, going so far as to say every high schooler knows a rocket needs air to push against to provide thrust. Wrong!

They finally published a correction some 50 years later. July, 1969 to be exact. A day after the first manned crew blasted off for the moon.
    HYUK!!!

    1. That’s a well-known story.

There’s an irony about Goddard, though. His work resulted in a number of patents and, when Wernher von Braun and his fellow amateur rocket enthusiasts were building their machines, they used those inventions. (If I recall correctly, it was all fair, square, and legal, with royalties being paid.)

After WW II, von Braun and many of his Peenemünde colleagues, along with a number of leftover V-2 rockets, went to the U. S. through Operation Paperclip. They continued their development work which, in the long run, resulted in the Saturn V. Through all of this, the Goddard estate was still receiving royalties because his work made it all possible.

Not bad for someone who was mocked in print as being a crackpot.

      1. Might add that most of the engineers from the Avro Arrow were snapped up by the USA and they are unsung hero’s of the US Space program.

        1. Here’s a sample of Canadians who helped send Americans to the moon. Jim Chamberlain headed the Gemini program. Owen Maynard was involved with the design of the Apollo Lunar Module. John Hodge was a capcom and a flight director.

  5. Falun Gong organ harvesting, Tiananmen square, Free Hong Kong, Uigher concentration camps.

Readers tips should now be free of CCP influence.

    1. Prinz Dummkopf, et. al., never had one in the first place, others than destroying Alberta, so I’m not surprised.

      1. They put the blame on O.P.E.C. for destroying Alberta but likely everyone is P.O. that U.S.A. is now energy self sufficient.

    1. What would Maggie say? “How come the seat covers in the brand-new Mercedes you bought me using taxpayer money aren’t made out of mink fur?”

  6. The Ontario Liberal Party has opened a website to scare the crap out of parents. Your kids will die unless thousands more teachers are hired and you vote Liberal.

    1. I wonder who spent millions of dollars on election advertising to help the Ontario Liberal Party win elections over the last twenty years?
Couldn’t be teachers’ unions? Nah. That could never happen in law-and-order, goody-two-shoes Ontario.

  7. I just have to share this with you.
Someone in “an affluent neighborhood in a red state with purple demographics” put a Trump sign on the lawn. That resulted in a nasty letter left at the house. You can glint all the relevant facts from the comment I left for the article:
    https://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2020/09/01/insane-letter-to-trump-supporting-house-n2575323
    I said:
    BINGO!
How ironic. The note writer hit four of five in her litany of disadvantaged minorities … for the home owner displaying the Trump sign!
    The note said:
… those of us who are women, people of color, immigrants, and those who may worship and love differently … you simply do not care about us at all …
And Guy Benson tells us the home owner is a Mexican-American single mother whose parents are legal immigrants.
    That’s hilarious.

  8. The Liberal Party’s CBC and unions are now demanding that Ontario’s chief doctor must resign. Apparently he doesn’t speak well like Justin or something. This comes on the same day that the Ontario Liberal Party has created a website to scare the crap out of parents.

    1. In the next few days we are probably going to hear stories of how the good doctor abuses his staff and makes them cry by yelling at them.

  9. Good news for civil servants at the Canada Revenue Agency. True North reports they are getting a 10% raise in pay.

    1. Oh, so that’s why a certain tax credit was disallowed on my last return…..

      1. B A – I’ve said it before; go through Blazing Cat Fur and reach me and I’ll try to help you. Have checked with CA offspring who is now a tax specialist, and have been told you have the right to demand an explanation. However, if you get in touch privately, we can have fun with CRA.

    2. Not just CRA. Most civil federal servants are getting raises. It’s tough to stay at home on fully-paid leave, don’t ya know!
