  1. I’m missing out on something, obviously, as this makes no sense. I’ve been watching Gaffigan (or Jim, as I call him) for several wks. and never felt I needed to have anything explained to me before.
    ‘Course the fact that I have my first toothache in 75 yrs & my dentist has chosen to go on holidays till end of Sept. is making me thicker than usual.
    Okay, what’s this about? Should I laugh?

      Paul Ryan knew Trump was poison. So does Romney. Trump is not a conservative or even a Republican. You know that. You know Barr is dirty. You know if Trump gets re-elected it’s over.
      I dont give a fuck if anyone thinks this is virtue signaling or whatever. We need to wake up. We need to call Trump the con man and thief that he is.
      Trump buddying up with dictators is RADICAL. Trump having interfering with the justice department is RADICAL. Trump pandering to the police and army (I gave 3 raises) is RADICAL.
      What bravery from the cowards who are against equal justice. Wake up. Don’t you know history will make you the fool.
      Remember everything Trump accuses the Democrats of he’s guilty of. Dont let the socialist name calling distract you from the fact he is a fascist who has no belief in law.

      Gaffigan is a multi-millionaire many times over so can safely alienate many of his fans since he doesn’t need them anymore.

        How is Trump a con man and a radical?
        By buddying with (sic) dictators I can only imagine he is talking about Kim Jong Un. All he did was diplomacy. He did not oblige the U.S. to one single thing. Unlike Hillary “selling” uranium to Russia or Biden cozying up to China to get multimillion dollar deals for his family.
        Trump “interfering” with the DOJ? Hell, he’s trying to drain the swamp. The DOJ (and subsidiaries like FBI) under Obama was the real poison. Obama didn’t “interfere”, he just turned DOJ into his personal secret police.
        Pandering up to the police and army? They are legally constituted armed units intended to protect the citizens of the U.S. Last I heard, the President is the head of the armed forces in the U.S. Maybe this guy is Canadian and doesn’t know that?
        Gaffigan saved his worst for last in that quote. [Trump] is a fascist who has no belief in law? That is 180 degrees out of whack. Trump believes in the Constitution. How does a fascist allow the press to dump on him 24/7 without closing it down? The reason he has let a lot of things go in the states and cities (like Portland) is precisely because he believes in the rule of law under the Constitution, and therefore the rights of states to act independent of the federal government.
        He got so much wrong in such a short quote, I wonder how anyone here can call himself a conservative and read his garbage.

        1. Old Bruin, he’s a stand-up comedian who’s been very popular with conservatives for years but I hope that’s over. He’s an American, raised in Indiana, so there’s no excuse for his ignorance. He’s obviously a liberal/leftist even though he always came across as apolitical so managed to hide his anti-Trump lunacy until now. Those were samples from his Twitter account. There are other examples in that article I linked to.

          When he talks about Trump buddying up with dictators I’m pretty sure he’s talking about Putin and “Russian collusion”. Here are some more of his ravings:

  2. Spot on. Don’t know Josh Denny and certainly didn’t know he was a victim of cancel culture. So automatically I have a certain level of sympathy for him, especially when he said he lost the friendship of a “prominent child coward um, actor and his family.
    That said – for the last month or so B-lister Gaffigan has been coming up in my YouTube suggestions and it was obvious to me the eggheads at YouTube were promoting him. It all makes sense now.
    So now he types out “Jimmy’s Deep Thoughts” …stands back and watches all the accolades pour in on Twitter as if he just nailed his anti Trump rant on some church door.
    About as edgy as a balloon.

  6. Jim G. is a family-oriented guy who likes Canada and doesn’t use swear words. He’s a Roman Catholic with 5 children, so to me RC means Dem in the US and Lib. in Can. It’s how my mind works. You’ll find it has always worked out that way 95% of the time, or 99.5%, for the past 100 yrs or more.
    If he brings up Trump, I move on to another video where he’s talking about Winnipeg or barbecuing.
    Now he’s receiving threats for his political opinion? Isn’t he entitled to rant?
    They take away his right to rant and there goes mine; isn’t that how it works in a democracy?
    One thing, it guarantees that his 5 kids will never vote Republican.

        Having macular degeneration, I did read Denny’s twitter thread – twice. Took that long just to get the gist of what he was talking abt. He’s wasting his time being upset over a 3-star comedian who’s wasting his time telling his fans how much he hates Trump. Who cares? He’s too small a name to have any effect on the left. Every word he uttered was word-for-word Nancy Pelosi.

    1. In twitter parlance it’s called a “thread”. Only so many characters are allowed on Twitter the way I understand it, I don’t know, cause I don’t have an account.
      That said, it allows an individual to make his or her point without exceeding the character count for one tweet. If I’m wrong, I’m sure there’ll be others to correct me.

  8. I don’t understand how this anti-Trump comedian got canceled by the institutional left. In any event, I just wish I could cash-in on the spread between what the Hollywood crowd think they’re worth and what I think they’re worth.

    I shall care about their opinions just as much as I was aware of their existence.
    For me the very best entertainment of the medias is Trump Derangement Syndrome,so much accidental truth spewing from the lips and fingers of some very shallow people.
    A good case of TDS such as exemplified by this “comedian” is pure belly laugh material.
    I wonder if he was ever this funny on the payroll?

    Notice the rant is aimed squarely at the voters who choose Trump,this morons hate is not of Trump but toward his fellow citizens for daring to choose differently than him.
    Naturally enquiring minds want to know,did this same fellow have any problems with President Obama?
    For so far President Trump has not executed any American Citizens ,without trail or conviction..Where as our Progressive Comrades were so proud when Obama had those American Terrorists Abroad Droned..
    And the demented defence of Paul Ryan,who blatantly betrayed all conservative Republican voters,kind of points to another Uni-Party tool.

    Strikes me, we have another one locked in 2016,unable to understand that insulting and abusing your fellow citizens will not help them change their minds on anything.
    Or this is all reverse psychology with the aim of encouraging more Trump voters and garnering himself more publicity.
