Chinada

Business Vancouver;

A major warehouse facility under construction in Surrey is not just paving the way for more trade between B.C. and China. It could be helping pave Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Belt and Road Initiative to Canada.

The massive $190 million, 470,000-square-foot complex, dubbed the “World Commodity Trade Center,” is a joint venture between a Chinese state-sponsored company and a local development firm. The centre, first conceived in Beijing, has four warehouses and two large exhibition halls — to be lined with Chinese and Canadian flags — strategically located in the Campbell Heights industrial zone between Vancouver International Airport and the United States border.

      1. We won’t be alone. We will be like we were in Korea – sent in with Enfields against Chinese machine guns. Luckily Americans lent our troops automatic weapons. Our Navy and Air Force will be assigned rear guard duties by the big boys.

      2. I refuse to buy an Chinese products whatsoever. Nearly everyone I know feels the same way. China wants to destroy us along with the USA so they can run the planet. That would be very bad.

Follow suit and boycott China, don’t vote for anyone who supports anything to do with China.

If China takes over … you will regret not taking action while there was still time.

        1. We have also ceased to buy any Chinese products. I feel certain China is setting itself up to be ready to move the military in and attack the USA, probably creating after some disaster. They are doing the exact same thing in Mexico. Watch how quickly a huge auditorium because barracks for the military.

  1. Nothing quite like the take over of one’s country without even fighting a war. Will anyone step up and remove that treasonous bastard Trudeau from the country? Anyone? Got your mask, ok, got your instructions on how to wear it, ok, got a brain, no, not ok.

  2. Off topic but I just noticed a “Not secure” notice regarding this site. I wonder what’s up with that?

    1. “just noticed a “Not secure” notice regarding this site.”

Same here. That’s just MicroSnot dick’n around. I’ve been a regular here at SDA for over 14 years, never had a problem.
In case you didn’t know that Bill Gates is a tin-plated dyed-in-the-wool Prog then here’s your wakeup call.

    2. Been getting it since the last update whenever that was they are constant because their system is never quite working right. Not Kate’s, microsoft’s

    3. SDA lacks an SSL certificate, it’s not a big deal as SSL is typically only used if your accepting credit card information which they obviously aren’t here

    4. If you are concerned, get a VPN connection. I recommend Express VPN … it is highly rated. Not all VPN offerings are high quality.

      1. How much bandwidth do you lose by Express VPN?

My official work VPN reduces my Bandwidth from 150Mb to 25Mb, pretty serious degradation in the name of security.

  3. L-The Canadian soldiers who fought to keep South Korea free from enslavement by the Chinese Communist Party, at Kap Young et al, are rolling in their grave.

If C.I.S.I.S./RCMP Security were allowed to publicize the extent of the infiltration of Canada; 2/3rds of Canadians would hide under their beds. 1/3rd would write a last letter to loved ones for a worst case outcome, and muster up to a Canadian militia, as loyalists did the last time, an invasion of Canada was a threat to our sovereignty 200 years, ago.

The Laurentian elite, who signed a public letter calling for P.M. Trudeau to kowtow and release Hua-Wei’s princess back to Bejing, their rice bowls are overflowing.

    1. “The Canadian soldiers who fought to keep South Korea free from enslavement by the Chinese Communist Party, at Kap Young et al, are rolling in their grave.”

Remind me why they were there again? Oh, yeah, because the Russian representative to the UN was MIA that day when the UN authorized an invasion of Korea. I guess you haven’t noticed that the South Koreans have voted for Reunification several times in the last decade or so and couldn’t give a shit about the blood and treasure Canada or anyone else spent there to keep them from all being China’s bitch.

      1. Oz – am old enough to remember that war. Our local radio station, which was a CBC affiliate, would broadcast the casualty lists each night. Used to creep out of bed and sit silently on the stairs as my parents listened. Only later did I realize they were hoping NOT to hear any names they knew; Dad was an WW RCAF veteran and some of his comrades would have still been in active service.

  4. Why don’t we put a 50% import duty on Chinese goods and buy from other shithole countries? China only wants to enslave us as if we were Uighurs or Tibetans. We are 37 million organ donors to them.

    1. “We are 37 million organ donors to them.”

Who just happen to be squatting on one of the richest pieces of real-estate on the planet, second only in square mileage to Russia.

  5. Next they’ll build these across Canada and the United States of China, err, I mean United States of America, they own that too.

  6. This is beyond outrageous and we can do nothing about it. Add to that, if all goods made in Commie China were taken off shelves shops of all sorts would be empty.
Meanwhile, two Canadians are still being held in that place and not a word from OUR government or it’s “leader”, who is too busy hiding to cover his ass on shady dealings with WE.
In the real world people do not make deals or do business with such ruthless governments.
Only a politician like Trudeau who admires how they can turn their economy around on a dime, thanks to their cheap labour and greed in Western democracies with no scruples, often influenced by unions who put goods and services off the market for many people.
Mo Strong would be happy, he may be pulling strings from the grave to see industrialized nations go flat while China thrives.
Crazy world. Next up prorogation of Parliament to allow Trudeau and his gang to do their shuffling.

  7. So.
Who’s building code will they use?
Will the City Building inspectors all gain new homes and toys?
    Lucky day at the Casino…honest.
Which lucky neighbourhoods are about to get ripped to pieces to allow better road and rail access to this property?
And who will staff the site?
“Must speak ——” and have military security experience…Oh we need work visa’s cause no Canadians qualify.

    1. “Oh we need work visa’s cause no Canadians qualify.”

Yes, but then it won’t matter which building code is used, will it?

    2. Given that’s just south of Richmond, the next good earthquake could fix this particular issue.

      1. If you’re in Richmond, liquefaction of those delta sediments, then the tsunami. Works for me.

    3. Since they can’t walk into a BC casino with hockey bags full of cash anymore, I guess now they can take their bags a little further down highway 99.

  8. I wish only the WORSE fro all chincks everywhere starting with the collapse of the 3 gorges dam.Fu*king chinamen. They screwed up the whole world.

  9. Canadians will starve to death for sure. Our resources will be stripped and or be confiscated.

  10. Don’t forget to fill it with 2800 tons of ammonium nitrate — after all, wouldn’t want to be second best.

  11. If you’re black, or ‘worse’, Black, you might get ready to crap yourself because you be on the bottom of their hierarchy, know what I’m sayin?
Think Whitey is bad, Homey? Just wait till you’re digging coal by hand like a … if you’re lucky.

    1. True dat.

Chi-nah also imported huge numbers of African slaves.
Care to hazard a guess as to why Chi-nah doesn’t have a Black population to speak of?
Oh that’s because they insisted that the slaves they purchased be castrated before they set foot in The Middle Kingdom.

Wonder why you don’t hear boo about that from Black Lies Matter?

    1. Given the sufferings the Ukrainians suffered during the “Holodomor”, I do not blame those who welcomed the Germans after what the Russian Communists did to them. However, there is a considerable difference between young men who signed up for the German army and found themselves doing “unspeakable” things on pain of death should they not obey and those who found themselves posted to Krakow to edit a “pro-German” paper. I was puzzled about this until I realized that southern Poland was considered part of “Galacia” and so would have been considered by the Germans to be contiguous with parts of the Ukraine. I tend not to visit the “sins of the fathers” on the offsprings but – given CF has never acknowledged her grandad’s complicity in the Nazi occupation of Poland and Ukraine – I’m willing to call her on this one.

  12. All we can hope for is that Trump wins 2020 election then watch what the DemoRats do?? We don’t need China, China needs us for their products other wise they would collapse just like if the Dam let go!! The Laurentian Elites are about making money and they really don’t care whom is in the way, we Canadians are dispensable!! Just like the Chinese people dispensable. Canadians need to get rid of the LIE-BRAL governament!

  13. China is reliant on oil from the gulf. It’s tankers must pass through or near the frontiers of a dozen hostile countries. Within hours the us can radio these tankers ordering them to turn back or get droned and China will be on its knees in days.

That aside we still need to end our reliance on Chinese goods before that action dooms our own supply chain as well for critical materials.

  14. Our corrupt Liberal politicians in all our political parties will be well taken care of until they’re replaced by Chinese. Nothing can be done…

  15. The location is no accident. As has been noted, the facility could easily be turned into barracks, which could house PLA troops. They can then attack the USN base on the Kitsap peninsula (formed from the bases at Bremerton and Bangor). That’s one location where the Navy has submarines.

  16. Well that settles it.

Now that I can’t leave the country, I’m going to pop over for a non-consensual tire rotation at the hands of our friendly BC neighbors and protest a pipeline or two. The next day I’ll take transit on down to Surry to visit Pooh’s warehouse. I’ll check out the delightful slave-made Trudeau canoeing snow globes in the gift shop and grab me some of that fine fine (not really endangered shark fin -wink) soup in the visitor’s cafe.

Then to top it off a quick selfie at the Xi #1 glory-hole followed by a tour of the fentanyl logistics warehouse.

My Instagram feed is going to be ballin’.

  17. 470.000 sq ft sounds impressive but truth be told it is not that big. Amazon’s new distribution center in Edmonton is 1,000,000 sq ft. I can think of a number of grocery warehouses that are bigger than the new Chinese warehouse. No I am not a Chinese product fan and I don’t buy anything made in China intentionally and would love to get rid of the Chinese agents in Can’tada including Jr Castro. I’m just saying that depending on how high the racking is inside the warehouse 470,000 sq ft isn’t terribly big as far as warehouses go. Wexit is the way to go.
