      1. I will be voting PPC as it is a true conservative party. Not a #LibCons fake conservative party.

BTW Lewis can’t speak French. Fake conservatives think she’ll save our post nation thingy.

LOL. Some naive folks think CPC is still conservative.
        Good luck Canuckistan

  1. Lewis is in first or second place across the country. Does this mean the faithful don’t like being told by the Party Elite who counts ?

    1. Does it matter what the faithful like or don’t like being told?

The party has picked MacKay, but they’ll settle for O’Toole.

    2. It shows that even Captain Obvious knows, that McKay is Scheer V2.0, and, his support is in the corrupt welfareville of the Maritimes.

Liberal dufus. Poor judge of character (Hi Belinda!). Left when the going got tough to

Dr Lewis has captured the imagination of the grassroots, conservative (well, kind of), educated, a doctor, female, and ethnic minority. Out of all the candidates, she is the Libs worst nightmare.

  2. Yes it is interesting.
The establishment could get burned by the very thing that got Scheer in the leadership could now keep McKay from winning.
    But we’ll see.

  3. The Liberals will lose their crap if a black woman wins the CPC leadership race. The knives will be out and the hidden agenda conspiracy theories will be abundant.

    1. Should Dr. Lewis win, watch for the “Aunt Jemima” treatment.

White L/liberals hate erudite and well-spoken black people who don’t buy the Narrative.

      It will get ugly.

      1. “White L/liberals hate erudite and well-spoken black people who don’t buy the Narrative.

        It will get ugly.”

O K, it will be the female MSM, that will do the dirty work for Justin Blackface, particularly that heard of kows at the cee bee cee.

        1. I’ve seen better looking and more erudite cows, than what’s offered at the THEE BEE THEE.

    2. On the contrary. They’ll thank their master in hell.

The French Canadians refused to vote for a Sikh, as the NDP found out after being wiped off the map in Quebec. How bloody likely are they to vote for a Jamaican?

How bloody likely are the Overseas Chinese to vote for one?

      1. Here’s the thing about elections.
You win by appealing to those that would vote for your candidate and you convince your opponent’s voters their candidate is a wasted vote.

Out of the current choices for CPC leader, which one has the ability to do that?

With regard to her being Jamaican, there are a lot of Jamaican voters in Toronto.

        1. “erudite and well-spoken black people who don’t buy the Narrative”

          – I’ve seen little to suggest that LL pays anything more than lip-service to “not buying the narrative” – and lots to suggest she’s got her own carefully-hidden agenda that closely dovetails with it.

  4. have the libtards again planted milkmaid like “conservatives” to help McKay win, you know those dairy queens who put scheep over the top, and then voted libtard in the general

  5. I’m done with the Cons but if LL wins, good for them.
MacKay can eat a dick. Eastern turd.

  6. Is it my imagination or is there a bit of a resemblance between McKay and Zuckerberg? Maybe they’re related as, for one thing, they’re both arrogant twits.

  7. I have just decided to support Mackay. I don’t really like him, but he is the only one who has a hope of defeating the Liberals. Lewis has no experience in Parliament. O’Toole does not have enough profile. I don’t believe either can topple Justin.

    1. Experience in Parliament is hardly a qualification. What matters is who is tough, conservative and can kick liberal ass.

  8. A Mackay win will drive a lot of western Conservative voters to Wexit. They may not win any seats, but it would split the Conservative vote, like Reform/PC did, and the dippers would get some of those seats. So, if the Conservatives hope to win, it will be with anyone but Mackay.

    1. “MacKay win will drive a lot of western Conservative voters to Wexit.” — So be it. Wexit may be then only way to resolve the painful rift in Canada — that is, if they truly do Wexit. Honestly, I was planning not to vote. I have largely given up on politics. Also, Mackay was probably my least favourite at the start of this. But I realized he was the only one likely to take votes from Justin.

      1. In a general election McKay would be the CPC leader most likely to inspire as many Conservative voters to not vote as he does Liberal voters to vote Conservative.

      2. Mackay is a guaranteed loser against Justin. He’d do it with honor though and his concession speech will be lauded. Liberals love a good CPC concession speech.

  9. McKay, Lewis, O’Toole, or Sloan.
We all got to wail, weep and moan.
The liberals will just call it a loan.
    Is that a koan?

  10. Reading the tea leaves here, but Lewis actually has a pretty good shot at the win. I suspect she is the second choice for Sloan supporters (I know, I voted Sloan 1st, Lewis 2nd leaving the other choices blank). I also think that O’Toole supporters and McKay supporters don’t much care for the other candidate so they too may have chosen Lewis as their second or just voted first only. This could be interesting. She is not perfect but pretty good. And pretty good is realistically the best we can hope for.

In the end, during the federal election, I will be voting for whoever has the best chance to unseat the current local Librano. Many of you will throw away your vote for moral victory (aka French victory), I know.

  11. I was totally surprised to see Quebec supporting O’toole.

So much for the French thing. Actually, O’toole speaks pretty good French and he was born in Quebec.

Probably much better than Chrétien spoke English.

    I’m with O’toole 100%!!

    1. “I’m with O’toole 100%!!”

You Walied Soliman, Muslim Association Of Canada and O’Toole’s censors. Sorry his only redeeming quality is that he is not Trudeau.

    2. The graphic is donor support, not voter support.
That said, the CPC method of leader selection gives the same weight 25% to Quebec as to BC, AB, SK combined 25%.
O’Toole’s 320 Quebec supporters are given the same weight by the CPC as Lewis’ 4220 BC, AB, SK supporters.

  12. Guess it’s true; fools and their money are soon parted. Not surprising, that so many people are still clinging to an obviously dead political party.

I wonder how many people were still making donations when it was just Jean Charest and Elsie Wayne?

  13. I like Lewis but she has two fatal flaws – she isn’t fluent in French and she will continue Trudeau’s idiotic fight against natural climate change.

In the end it doesn’t really matter, none of them can beat Trudeau. Oh sure, he’s in a spot of trouble now with the WE scandal, but the next elections is a long way off and by then it will all be forgotten and the media will be singing his praises and he’ll get another majority.

    1. Not being fluent in Fwench is flaw? F the Fwench. F Kebek. Conservatives should never try to suck up to Kebek. Win Ontario and the West is the only sensible strategy.

      1. Lol colon.
        Typical centrist.
Lewis can’t speak French = no PM.
“Conservatives should never try to suck up to Kebek”.
Don’t vote CPC then. They’ve stopped being conservative with Mulroney but love Quebec & minority votes.
Vote PPC if you want conservatism.
        Stupid people out there…

        1. Yeah yeah yeah, vote PPC and get Blackie reelected. Whatever. Same old song from disgruntled spoiled brats with a temper tantrum. Last election has shown how much you all count. Your glorious fwench leader would be a shoe in for CPC leadership now, but he was too stupid to get off his bidet and think. Instead he threw a temper tantrum and helped Blackie, did not even got a reach around. Have you kissed your AR goodbye yet? You got only yourself to thank for that. Congrats moron. Elections have consequences.

  14. Well there is a story you won’t see on Blackie’s CBC. If she wins the Liberals will copy their hero Dementia Joe and say she ain’t really black. I doubt she will become Canada’s second black prime minister, but its interesting.

    1. Heh – let ’em try. Alinsky for the win – make your enemies live by their own rules, and hit ’em back twice as hard.

“Excuse me, Mr. Prime Minister – you’re saying I’m NOT black? Yet you passed laws that I can say I’m a BOY if I want, and people who deny it can be jailed! And now you say in public that a black woman is not black? RAY-CISSSSSSSSS!!!!!!”

      { – “How DARE you say the Liberal Party of Canada is racist? We CAN’T be racist, because we accused everybody ELSE of it!” – }

  15. I am done with eastern leaders of the CPC and will vote Wexit. MacKay should be at the bottom of conservative voters if that is their party. Just as Reform tested the public in their first campaign it was for the experience. We elected our Reform MP in the following election. Western conservatives turned their back on Mulroney and destroyed the federal conservative party in the process. What destroyed Reform was Mannings push to take the Party national. I voted against it and have always questioned the 5% against number that Reform released. 20 years of wasted effort leading up to the Harper defeat. Never again. Wexit is the only solution for Western Canada.

  16. I sent money for Scheer despite my doubts. They haven’t gotten one red cent out of me since. As for the present state of things with that party, I am afraid if Lewis gets in its going to be just because she black and female and the virtue signallers want to prove how nonbtgoted they are. I am not impressed by her resume. It just might work but that’s no way to pick a leader. That’s how the USA got Obama. My money now goes to WEXIT. If she does get in, I’m looking forward to watching some lefty heads explode from the cognitive dissonance.

  17. It does not matter who will be King (or Queen) if the chancellors behind the throne are not ousted. I have an infirm belief that they were behind the failed strategy of the last election. They keep on wanting to play nice. Playing nice with the media is a failing conservative strategy.

I want a polite Canadian DJT that can effectively play the media and drive them into fits. The bought and paid for media will not be friendly to conservatives.
