    And our bald eagle predates the Nazis by over two centuries. The front of the Great Seal of the United States is dominated by the eagle. It was adopted in 1782.

    Fact check: USA Today fact check is a joke. USA Today itself is either completely ignorant of national history, or anti-American, or both.

    1. The swastika was, originally, a symbol of good luck/good fortune. For that reason, the NAZIs adopted it. Some – leftists no less – have tried to reform the swastika with no luck. The damage done to it by the NAZIs will never be repaired.

      For USA Today to try and make a comparison of a bald eagle with a European one falls right into Herr Goebbel’s corner.
