Cancelations already are happening too fast to track. In a phenomenon that will be familiar to students of Russian history, accusers are beginning to appear alongside the accused. Three years ago a popular Canadian writer named Hal Niedzviecki was denounced for expressing the opinion that “anyone, anywhere, should be encouraged to imagine other peoples, other cultures, other identities.” He reportedly was forced out of the Writer’s Union of Canada for the crime of “cultural appropriation,” and denounced as a racist by many, including a poet named Gwen Benaway. The latter said Niedzviecki “doesn’t see the humanity of indigenous peoples.” Last week, Benaway herself was denounced on Twitter for failing to provide proof that she was Indigenous.

Really? That’s never stopped anyone. The underlying motivation for this nonsense is: “if I can’t have it, you can’t have it”. But there’s an additional aspect to that: “you can have it if I have it, but only if I have it before you plus you need my permission first”.

The church is doing a pretty good job on its own, calling it the “social gospel” or “liberation theology”. In other words, it’s communism sanctified by putting a cross on it.

I sat through enough Sunday sermons in which people like me were denigrated from the pulpit for not “distributing” our “wealth”, for holding political opinions to the right of Mao, for not going whole hog for “Liberation theology”, and for not venerating people like Nelson Mandela as a holy saint.
Meanwhile, the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan, as well as the atrocities committed by the Red Army, were completely ignored. No mention was made of the Solidarity movement in Poland or of the subsequent military crackdown.
That’s hardly “Love your neighbour as yourself”, now is it?
How about we just be who we are and tell anyone who doesn’t like it to go to hell. I have had enough B S to last ten lifetimes. I am an old very white guy, now very old and anyone who doesn’t like it can go to hell.

The Marxist left had a problem. The Dream was all but 100% achieved. That Dream had to be redefined … immediately! Lest all power be ceded to a healthy, vibrant, merit-based society. Enter the ULTIMATE half-black, half-white, fulfillment of MLK JR’s Dream … Barrack Hussein Obama. American POTUS Obama had to scold America as having completely lost the plot. That we were all still “systemically (read: hidden-away from sight) racist”. Thanks Obama! For beginning this shitshow of a post-King … post-Dream race War! Congrats! For accomplishing what Charles Manson only “dreamed” of

See, the problem is, if an outsider writes about any special interest group, they just might not stick to the official narrative and might give out some erroneous information like truth or insight. That sort of thing never helps a socialist republic get where it’s trying to go.
