  1. Weird since the boreal forest puts out more carbon dioxide than all of North American human activity combined. The boreal forest is a carbon dioxide creator not a sink because of the forest rot and peat bogs exposed as the last glaciation round ends. Plus the boreal forest produces lots of methane from rot as well. Therefore responsible climate change types should be cheering the destruction of that nasty old boreal forest and drying up of those ancient peat bogs. However that would require being consistent with the facts.

    1. LOL. Facts mean nothing. Drunk driving kills, so ban happy hour and smoking in restaurants! The pussified population has walked headlong into this crap with eyes wide open, and begged for more.

  2. Quilted Northern; exclusively.
(More recently I have been enjoying the frugality and cleaning power of shop towels in the blue office.)
    All is well.

  3. I’m sure the Turd will have a nice campaign along the lines of “More fudge for the packin”. Right up his alley.

  4. Good luck with that. Remember the silly singer suggesting we all use no more than one square of TP?

  5. Canada should outlaw the production or use of commercial grade single-ply TP. It’s inhumane to have to use that stuff

  6. Too much John Wayne toilet paper in restaurant restrooms. It’s rough and tough and takes no sh*t off this cowboy.

  7. This won’t affect Dear Leader. He probably uses mink pelts for his precious bottom.

Then again, he probably hired that mob to attack Canadian industry. That way he can claim that he’s not directly responsible for what happens.

    1. “He probably uses mink pelts for his precious bottom.”

Nawww. He’s got a horde of fawning sycophants that keeps his arse licked clean and blow-dryed 24/7.

  8. I thought we would have more time. Well to atleast to enjoy the decline. But they doubling and tripling down. I had to admit defeat today. Arguing with normal people, a banker, a teacher, a customs officer. They are all in. Keep the lock down, the government is doing the right thing. The tracing apps put on your phones will never be abused. Its over we lost. Trump just made them work harder.

    1. That reminds me of an incident in my apartment building several years ago.

From what I gathered, a unit on the ground floor flooded because the sewer backed up. The result was that a section had to be dug up to fix the problem.

But the best part was the manager’s reaction. She wasn’t the sharpest knife in the drawer and she had a notoriously bad temper. She fired off a blistering memo to all the tenants in my building, lambasting us for having caused the problem. One of the things she demanded we do was to use less toilet paper.

Personally, I think that the blockage might have been caused by tree roots, having had to deal with that sort of thing at my house in B. C. It didn’t help that many of my fellow tenants had no idea on how to use a plunger, but, then, they didn’t need to as where they grew up, they probably had someone who dealt with plugged drains.

The manager was fired a few years later.

  9. There oughta be a tax on activism ….

And I thought they were going after agriculture after oil …

Just can keep to with the green busy bodies …

  10. Everybody was Kung POO fighting…
Just do it like they do it in that 3rd world Shithole the PRC. Use sticks to eat with your right hand and wipe(zero paper) with your left hand.
That’s gonna cause a lot of cross contamination, butt what’s the difference? These same people were against plastic bags until it was understood that the reused bags caused cross contamination.
Hows about those plastic straws now, eh? They cut down on the spread of disease too. Ban straws, but pass out hypodermic needles.
No wonder those California Cinnamon bears they have on their flag are extinct. They committed suicide.

    1. I bought a lifetime supply of Charmin Ultra Soft back in 2008. Still goin’ strong.

“Charmin is Charming my Choo-choo, what a great way to Pamper my Poo-poo…”(cut to scenes of a Caboose getting Polished)

  11. Oh FFS… They don’t make TP out of fir, cedar or spruce! They use cottonwood, aka, the weed of the forests! Seriously, ignorance isn’t bliss anymore…
Fun Fact, in so called “third world countries”, the bidet is very popular!

  12. They came for the West Coast forest workers before they came for the Oil workers before they came for the Boreal forest workers. They love going after Canadian resource sectors because they only have to pay for enough spin to buy off politicians who control all Crown land and related resources. Back home, NRDC might have to actually pay market prices for private land which wouldn’t go very far and they already succeeded in tying up most federal lands.

  13. Why don’t we flush these bastards as soon a possible. They are really stinking up the country.

  14. Of course the NRDC wants to lead by example. Love to help them out. Sadly I am fresh out of Sears and Robuck catalogs. To whom can I send my corn cobs?
