1. The problem yet again stems from the guy at the top. He has zero understanding of constitutional law and the obligations and limitations of the federal government.

   This decision is correct as is the decision on sanctuary policy.

   1. I think it is pretty simplistic to blame Trump. You do know he hires lawyers. What nobody can understand is how it becomes illegal to overturn an illegal decree. The Supremes just stepped in a cow pie. Unbelievably stupid. The assholes missed the fact that there was an intervening election wherein the voters voted for secure borders. Who’s voting for the brain dead Ruthie? We’ll never know.

What should matter is whether at law the executive has the authority to rescind executive orders introduced by prior administrations and, further, whether an executive should be forced to implement prior orders even if they are illegal. The court has flipped the script and in fact made it harder to implement an EO than rescind one – even an illegal one. This will create perverse incentives and is going to give future administrations (including Trump so you are aware) increasing powers to ram through EOs and force successors into long and costly legal battles.

   If you can’t make laws, and you can’t repeal laws, and you can’t enforce laws, … why are you even there?

   1. The job of the Court remains what it always was. Enforce the rule of lawyers.

      Lawyers enjoy cheap takeout food (being too proud and spoiled to cook) and cheap sex from trafficked boys from the Third World, so decent people must not be allowed to prevent the invasion of their country or to fire employees who are discovered to be perverts.

      In countries where the rule of law means something, the services of judges and lawyers to “interpret” the law is not required, unless the law is written in Hebrew.

      Any adult can read and understand the Law handed down to Moses. Borders are not an abomination. Sodomy is. Anybody claiming there is any room for debate is a liar, who simply refuses to follow what they know very well is the Law—putting their own petty desires above the will of not only the sovereign but of Almighty God Himself.

      Perverts and invaders do not have “rights.” It is not only the right of the sovereign to put them both to death or flight, but his sacred duty.

9. I think this stems from an arrogance in the legal profession that only becomes more acute the more “accomplished” you are. They would really prefer that it was all left up to them as they know better than all the Joe Sixpacks. This happens in Canada in our courts all the time as well.
