I might recommend coming up with a rational set of criteria for which monuments to put in a museum and which ones to leave ex Soviet and Confederate leaders should not be celebrated with public statues. This rational criteria would act as an alternative to unbounded iconoclasm. Somehow I doubt Cotton is interested in a rational set of principles or anything besides ‘moar authority’.

I don’t think the government should be anything but neutral ie promoting anyone at all. If it is going to promote people by having statues then let them not be of slaver traitors or Soviets or the Belgian King who raped the Congo.

Well, as long as we are throwing out the debris, I’d like to put in a disposal order for the Lenin statues in Las Vegas, Atlantic City, NYC, Los Angeles (not making that up…they’re there if you know where to look). But, the giant 16 foot statue of Lenin in Seattle (yes, I’m not making that up either) I’d like to gift to Republic of Chaz, because I don’t think they have created their deities yet and eventually they’ll get bored and topple that one as well. Lenin was white or something…and we’ve seen how careful these retards are when removing statutes.
