June 7, 2020 – Reader Tips

From 1973, we offer you Hooked on a Feeling by Blue Swede. This song would undoubtedly be viewed as racist today. More offensive were their footwear choices!

Your best tips over the pat 86,400 seconds are much appreciated!

    1. You should be excited.
      These are exciting times.

If you are of the pale persuasion, you may soon have to run for your life!

Just how much longer before the Liberal’s CBC and the Red Star write columns about cancelling the white race?
Before they encourage their mobs to hunt whitey down and exterminate him for the good of the country?
The editorials are written, just waiting for the right time.
The Liberals, the CBC and the Star hate you.
      They want you dead.

      Get off your knees, Cownadians.

      The Media is the Enemy.

  1. From the ‘Life Goes On’ file.

A old cowboy stopped by today for a beer. Said he’d been to a branding (it’s branding season).

This branding was a bit different in that they had some well endowed Mexican Mennonite girls as raslers. Now raslers are usually young testosterone charged guys but the girls are capable of flanking a calf (especially Mennonite girls who know how to work hard). It was 3 sisters.

They had 4 cowboys roping dragging in calves. The old cowboy was the ‘knife man’. Said it was a mighty pleasant afternoon and all the cowboys enjoyed the view….

    1. Mr. Abtrapper:

Citizen, you may not yet be aware of your newest and most helpful Government Agency, The Ministry of Love, but we, and I are here to ensure your human interaction is of the highest calibre.

I am Winston, one of the Life Facilitators chosen to help you maximise your Love for your fellow citizens.

In the immortal words of the Great Justinian,” Peoplekind, We must all be on the same page.”

I should start by pointing out some of your subversive behaviour and language that shall only result in discord and moist-speaking.

Your unfortunate communication seems to indicate a preference for only ONE of the 57 genders. This, in itself is discriminatory and offensive, yet pales in comparison to your obvious abhorrent fixation on certain particular body parts of that particular gender.

Your educational programming and social conditioning has obviously been deficient, but don’t worry, I and the entire Ministry of Love are here for you.
      Our programs do help.
      No expense will be spared.
      You will be fixed.
      Or cancelled.

      Love and Obey,
      W

      1. You will be loved.

Now grab your ankles so we can begin.

        (something like that?)

    1. I just watched her DC report.

I can see why Ezra lit the burners under several law firms. The kid has charisma and can report behind a mask.

      1. Yes, I like her style. Ezra has some good people.
In her NYC post she said that while she was jailed over the 2 days there, she ‘never’ slept! The N.B.ers usually say “never” when they mean “didn’t” — so typical. She’s a terrific reporter though and can think on her feet. I noticed that she forgot to tell us how her eyeglasses broke when she was arrested.

With so much going on, I have yet to see it, here it is, for ones that missed it:

    2. Not a doctor or epidemiologist so not qualified to diagnose, but it looks like there might be an outbreak of Asshole Cop Syndrome.

      1. Apparently it started in conjunction with the whoowho flu, was it a cause or effect? A symptom or the disease itself? A C S, very good.

    3. Notice how she said the police went after the meek and mild?

They are like that outside of riots too. They send the SWAT Team to arrest eighty something Roger Stone in the middle of the night. The dangerous types they arrange with the lawyers to turn themselves in during business hours. They know they can bully and abuse people that are not criminals. They won’t risk that with real criminals.

      1. Notice how she said the police went after the meek and mild?

It’s hard to say if that was deliberate. It seems to be more like what’s known as “the fog of war”.

  2. Aha no…. I don’t think so.

Ranchers dont care much for dairy cows. You’ve heard the quote: “its blacker here than the inside of a dairy cow”, I dont know the origin of the quote but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was a rancher.

  3. David vs Goliath

“President Trump signed an executive order preventing online censorship” because “Online platforms are engaging in selective censorship that is harming our national discourse” such as ” ‘flagging’ content as inappropriate, even though it does not violate any stated terms of service,… changes to company policies that have the effect of disfavoring certain viewpoints; and deleting content and entire accounts with no warning, no rationale, and no recourse”.
“Wattsupwiththat greeted the President’s move as an opening for climate change skeptics who’ve been abusively treated by these outfits”.

  4. Ok all you hard ass conservatives it’s Saturday nite. Time to take a break from saving the world.

Pour a drink, push the table back and make that kitchen into a dance floor (it used to be one remember?)

Put your arm around your favorita, turn down the lights and You Tube Little Richard doin’ Kansas City or Jerry Lee Lewis singing The Milk Cow Blues.

Then chill out with Aaron Neville’s ‘Tell it Like it Is’

Remember, if ya dance ya gotta chance….

    1. Being a movie buff, I’ve taken a liking to Noir Alley on Turner Classic Movies. It wouldn’t be Saturday night without Eddie Muller’s presentation of a film noir. This time it was The Underworld Story with Dan Duryea.

Oh, and next week’s selection for The Essentials is one of my personal favourites: Gunga Din (Cary Grant, Victor McLaglen, Douglas Fairbanks, Jr., and Sam Jaffee).

      1. Weatherman said rain today!
Have you seen this 1945 flick?
        “Scarlet Street”(1945) Film-Noir
With Edward G Robinson, Joan Bennett, Dan Duryea

I know what the machinist meant about signs in N.B.
        Capital city is very Anglo.
        Check this out:

        https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/fredericton-road-signs-seem-lost-in-translation-1.3146247

        1. Nancy: maybe the sign was made by a temporary foreign worker (TFW).
          See below, also from N.B.:

Provincial border bans during COVID-19 spark LAWSUITS, anger from Canadians denied entry…
“Lesley Shannon of Vancouver was devastated when New Brunswick rejected her request last month to enter the province to attend her mother’s burial”.

“Shannon points out that New Brunswick is already allowing temporary foreign workers into the province”…””It’s very upsetting to think I’m less welcome in New Brunswick than somebody who was not even born in Canada,” she said.”

          https://www.cbc.ca/news/business/n-b-p-e-i-n-l-territories-border-ban-ccla-court-challenge-1.5600235

          1. Too bad about Miss Shannon and others.
I’ll bet that future lawsuits based on issues around Covid-19 will be dismissed especially if they’re about access to entry in provinces and institutions. The lawyers are just taking ones’ money if they think they can win those cases.

What is very telling is that a (masked) Adrienne Arsenault from CBC is allowed ‘in’ to the hospital to do a piece about flu patients, Physicians and other caregivers, while the significant other of a dying patient is not allowed in to see them even for a few minutes as they may be possibly taking their last breath.

I read that in other countries that was not the case. One person per patient is allowed. The patient is the taxpayer. Everyone forgets that.

The Canadian Propaganda Machine is more important. /s

      2. Have you seen this 1945 flick?

Not yet. I should put that on my “round tuit” list.

        1. I just finished watching it. Thanks for the tip.

That would be a good one for Noir Alley. In many ways, it reminds me of another EGR movie, Double Indemnity.

Dan Duryea made a career of playing low-lifes like the one in this film, though in the one last night, he played a somewhat unscrupulous newspaper reporter.

Ah, but those were movies! Good guys were good, baddies were bad, and none of them were like the soy boys one often sees on the screen nowadays.

          1. Bee Eh!
            Delighted that you liked it!
            I haven’t finished it yet.

I checked imdb for the plot summary and saw the first 20:55 mins. It looked good so I’ll now go all the way!

Yes, “Ah, but those were movies!” Is right!!

            P.S
“Double Indemnity” is a classic. Barabra Stanwyck is great!

  5. THREAD
I will lose many friends over what I’m about to say.
I will possibly be called a racist or even a white supremacist (even though I’m a brown man, who’s been beaten to a pulp by neo-Nazis wearing steel toed boots).
But maybe, just maybe, the fact that I am getting 100% of my information from the black scholars in the picture – The Great Thomas Sowell, Glenn Loury, Shelby Steele, John McWorther, Coleman Hughes, Kmele Foster and Thomas Chatterton Williams, allows me some room for thought?

    https://threadreaderapp.com/thread/1268898468766134279.html

Some inconvenient facts here to share with those in your life that are starting to fall into this cult that’s taking over our culture.

    1. A factual, good read. Whatever you do don’t tell people the truth, they freaking hate it.

      1. I think it would be hard to advance a case of racism with no evidence of racism, just evidence of stupidity. Anyone who kills somebody, begging for his life, while being recorded deserves whatever punishment he gets up to and including drawing and quartering. He deserves the same level of sympathy he showed but I have my doubts this is a race issue. The other guys I’m not sure about, particularly the rookie. They media accused George Zimmerman of racism despite a grandmother much of his family and friends being black.

    2. 1000% BANG on. Excellent commentary by Amir.

I’m an immigrant who naturalized in 1967.
My parents taught all of us kids one thing about racism.
When you cut your finger – what comes out is RED.
THAT FACT NEVER CHANGES with a persons skin colour.

I like to think I’ve lived that to this day.

BLM as with AntiFa are Communist agitators – 1930’s SA wanna be’s.
SCUM – and yes, Domestic Terrorists as are those Filthy Leftist Mofo’s who financially support them.

  6. Here is a link to a Twitter account regarding the old white haired “victim of police brutality” in Buffalo.
    https://twitter.com/the_exception/status/1269509656717582337?s=19
Watch the video for the 1st minute.
    Then read the thread…..
Even the protesters there are questioning the guys motives.
“He said he come down here for fun”
“And I think hes looking to get punched in the face”

    1. The helmet is the same style as many use when riding a scooter.
He is free to be anywhere in the US where it is legal. The opinion of several spoiled activists who interrogate him does not matter. What he tells them does not matter. One is under no obligation to tell the truth to complete, aggressive, irrational strangers.
The “conservative” patrons of this blog must make up their minds: either you are for individual rights, or you are against them. But at every turn you subscribe to the view that something is for me but not for thee.
You cant have everything both ways like you go out of your way trying.

      1. You don’t get to decide anything for us. “either you are for individual rights, or you are against them.” The rioters do not have the “right” to deprive others of their livelihood, or lives.

The sole decision I have to make is whether to read (and possibly respond to) your blitherings. In this case I chose to.

      2. Didn’t see no scooter in the video. Did see a flood of blood running out of his ear the second he hit the ground as he lay there with his neck arched and legs crossed.

  7. Both 1 respective web pages at CBC News and the Globe and Mail have led the way with Black Lives Matter-Police are Evil group think, with reams of articles describing the many demonstrations supporting all of this. The Rt. Hon. Trudeau knelt at one BLM/anti-cop demo.

So it has been pointed out in all the conservative media that all of this is flaunting the social distancing rules in place. There are now two sets of rules for everybody. Yet not once has anybody in the corporate media cartel brought this obvious disconnect up. What I am asking is the following: will the average Canadian (and Ametican) see through this rather transparent media lie? It matters in the coming November U.S. election.

Another thing: the corporate media are now censoring the continuing rioting, and are only showing peaceful demos. Omly the social media are showing the reality. I wonder if the average person is seeing through this as well.

    1. DM

DJT doesn’t rely on the corporate media to get his message out and probably 80% (maybe more of those under 50) don’t get their news there either.

Corporate media is followed by an ever diminished demographic. It’s virtually finished. In it’s last days

The influence of big media is as dead as Randolf Hurst.

  8. And now the Sunday Toronto Star. Your best choice for print Liberal Party propaganda. All the stories are about how Canadians are racist bastards, police must be disbanded, and front page that Doug Ford is racist. Although the editorial was praise for Great Leader Kim Sung Trudeau standing up to evil Israel. Meanwhile Justin continues his relaxing weekend at Harrington Lake.

  9. The media will give live coverage today as the dead drug addicted felon gets dragged around the country. Dementia Joe will leave his nursing home to attend the final show. Hopefully he will remember where he is.

  10. And now the CBC’s Sunday Political Scrum Show. This morning the Unifor journalists ranted that the premiers of Manitoba and Ontario are racist bastards. And all police forces in Canada should be defunded and banned.

    1. John, I rarely watch CTV and CBC (my doctor says to avoid stressful situations), but I do scan their respective web sites to see what’s what. One thing I notice is that the pro-Liberal media cartel almost never attack the Saskatchewan or Manitoba premiers. The corrupt cartel only attack Doug Ford and Jason Kenney. (I will not get into any of the percieved shortcomings of Mr. Moe and Mr. Pallister).

Anyways a year or so ago Saskatchewan premier Scott Moe ventured forth to Ottawa to meet the Rt. Hon. Trudeau for a meeting, and Mr. Moe treated Trudeau roughly. In one of his few moments Canadians could see Mr. Moe on national TV, they could see that he was someone not to be trifled with. Both CBC News and the Globe and Mail wrote obligatory hit pieces against Moe — both news agencies operate to serve the Trudeal Liberals after all — but was struck me is that when Scott Moe returned to Saskatchewan, both corrupt news agencies left the premier alone.

For some reason the media cartel see Saskatchewan and Manitoba as flyover country. Ontario is important since it is part of Laurentian Canada. Alberta is important because the billionaire U.S. foundations, and their environmental charities, want Alberta destroyed. But the media ignore conservatives in flyover country.

    1. Oh, Dear Leader will eventually be doing it, too. Anything to get that #$%&# UN seat with his name on it.

      1. I shudder to think what will happen if he does get the seat. Besides all the preening in hopes of becoming Secretary General one day, he will hand out billions to places we have never heard of to finance causes they never asked for help with in the first place.

        1. I just read what I wrote and the thought of Turdo as head of the UN sent a chill up my spine and suddenly Damian from the Oman movies popped into my head! I hate when that happens.

        2. He certainly has all of the qualifications for that position:

          – inept,
          – corrupt,
          – black (whenever it’s convenient to be so),
          – likes Mohammedans,
          – hates the petroleum business (unless he’s importing the stuff from those countries who’d help get him the job),
          – painfully politically correct (again, whenever it’s convenient for him),
          – a globalist,
          – loathes white deplorables,
          – supports indigenous demands, and
          – quite chummy with the alphabet people.

That position was a joke ever since U Thant.

  11. From Galen Weston, your Grocer: (some of you)

“Loblaw’s will make a $100,000 donation to the Black Business and Professional Association (BBPA), a national organization that supports the advancement of Canada’s Black communities in higher education, economic development and business excellence. And starting today, we will offer you, our customers, the opportunity to turn your PC Optimum points into donations for BBPA.”

Cheapo got 12 million from Climate Barbie. Why does he bother us with the BLM Movement?

    https://globalnews.ca/news/5145773/catherine-mckenna-loblaw-new-fridges/

    1. I’ve been shopping at SuperStore and Shopper’s Drug Mart for years. Maybe it’s time I took my business elsewhere.

Then again, I don’t consider Galen Weston is proof that being born rich doesn’t mean one’s smart. Sadly, SS was never the same after Dave Nichol left.

      1. I have. Temporarily, at least.

Weston e-mails P.C. Credit Card holders and in one missive a few weeks ago, he informed clients that a worker had tested positive for Covid-19 @ the local SuperStore so the last few shopping trips have been to other grocery stores. I usually mix it up anyways.

Most recently I went to Safeway and was pleased with all the fresh fruit and vegetables and new discoveries.

Found some pickled stuff from Germany made by a company called: Carl Kühne KG (GmbH& Co) 22761 Hamburg.

I have, what some would say — weird taste, but these sweet things hit the yum button!

  12. Goldstein at the Toronto Sun writes about how the media distorted what Trump said about the dead guy.

  13. Remember last week all the noise about a painting that portrays the sock monkey in a prone position?
That would make a good juxtaposition next to the photo of him showing feality on bended knee to the “peaceful protesters”(tm).

  14. This evening on the Liberal Party’s CBC they had a special show on racism in the Canadian media. The host was joined by someone from the Toronto Star and professional race baiter Desmond Cole. Following showing a picture of Rex Murphy, they explained how Rex is a racist bastard. They also discussed Canada’s 200 year history of slavery.
