  1. “Permanent Illegals. They are here. Let’s forget about the past.”

That worked so well in 1986, the last time they said it. That one time amnesty worked so well. Within five years we had double the number of illegals we had before.

No. No amnesty. No new pathway. Build the Wall. If you want to become a legal immigrant, that is your job, and your responsibilities. Or go back home, and fix your own damned country. We made America. We made Canada. It isn’t magic dirt, it is hard work, rule of law, and respect for property. There is no reason you cannot make your country better too. Go back and do it.

  2. Well, as nice and cool as this one assimilated Mexican guy is …. thing is …. you give those who are ‘already here’ citizenship then next year you give those who are ‘already here’ citizenship, then the next year you give those who are ‘already here’… etc etc … Not all those who are ‘already here’ are like this guy.

Many are violent criminals. Who sorts them out?

At what point do you stop giving preferential treatment to those who came in illegally and start choosing those who have something to offer the country?

And uh … oh ya … Asking for a friend.

    1. “At what point do you stop giving preferential treatment….”

Exactly, they discussed “sponsored” countries and mentioned the Netherlands in the same sentence, wrong. Sponsored countries are third world countries with very little to offer First World Nations. Even if they did offer quality doctors or engineers etcetera, they should be left in their third world crapholes to help better their own economies instead of us relying on Foreign Aid to supplement.

The point here is that the US/ Mexico border allows for a disproportional demographic distribution into the US. Mainly poor, uneducated Latino’s that have little to contribute except to disproportionate voting at the expense of taxpayer accommodations, like bilingual schools and government services.

Proportionate and regulated immigration, first checks for heath issues and diseases, then places skilled people from a variety of places all of whom speak English to a functioning degree.

  3. I’ve lived in a tourist area in Mexico for 12 years.

The old adage is certainly true….If you make guns illegal, only criminals will have guns. Although it is technically possible to legally own a pistol with a caliber of .38 is smaller, the process is so difficult, it is virtually impossible. There is only one single gun store in Mexico, run by the military, and I’ve never met anyone who was authorized to make the trip to buy one.

Therefore, it’s really only the Cartels that have guns. I live in an area that doesn’t see the day-to-day effects of the Cartels (with a few exceptions), however, I know many that came from areas where the population is absolutely powerless to defend against them, and the people are therefore submissive sheep.

That said, I am a criminal, I guess. Me, and many like me, are armed, and right now, with the mass unemployment and despair brought on by government sanctions to fight an viral enemy that doesn’t seem to be killing anyone, I don’t leave home without my security blanket.

The combination of a corrupt/incompetent police, the strength of the criminal Cartels, and the desperation of folks living in a town that is 99% dependent on tourists that has no government welfare or handouts, has lead to a possible powder keg that could explode at any time…..so far so good, but damn, things need to open up soon.

The moral of my story is…..don’t think really desperate times couldn’t happen in Canada in the next 10-30 years. Canada is broke and getting broker, and the ‘safety net’ can only last so long. Factor in the inability to develop resources, the massive influx of 3rd world populations that do not share the values of a ‘high trust’ society, and …… Canada just might be worse off than Mexico in a generation – and at least we have a homogeneous population that doesn’t practice identity politics.

My great equalizer is my Glock and my training to use it effectively. It allows me the freedom to do what I want and need to do in these crazy times without fear. Caution, yes, but not fear. Therefore, don’t give your guns away to Justin. Your kids and grandkids just my find themselves needing them in the not too distant future.

    1. Much like Canada the only way to have a hand gun is illegally. The hoops one has to go through these days make owning one a bigger pain than not owning one. The shooters in TO don’t bother with permits and pals, they just get a gun and keep it.

  4. “If you make guns illegal, only criminals will have guns.”

Exactly, and it starts with the kind of government you have. The more corrupt and criminal they are the harder they try to ban them.

Check out Trudeau if you want a classic criminal = gun ban barometer.

  5. The “you don’t NEED that style of gun” dickheads especially firearm owners will squeal like little girls when they come for their guns, or legislate to reduce their car engine size to 1.2 liter or whatever.

Just wait until some other brainless loser in parliament decides something you own and prize is not needed. Maybe the size of your house, or a boat, a Ski-Doo, now they’re even talking about extra taxes on natural gas stoves the wealthier currently find in fashion.

Whatever it is, bank on zero support from whoever already had to turn something of their property in.

  6. “Second Amendment…it’s a beautiful thing”

    Uh huh.

Further – Mexico’s dirty little secret is it’s blatant racism, in fact, thanks to the Spanish, both South America and Central America could be characterized as a pigmentocracy. if you’re a visitor or tourist it doesn’t take long to figure out how society, at least with respect to one’s occupation is governed by skin pigment. The very light shades of brown get the best jobs and it works it’s way down to the bottom where the dark browns have to resign themselves to a life of either pouring cement or changing hotel bed sheets.
Which is why I do a slow burn whenever I see hypocrites like former Mexican President Vincente Fox and that blue eyed Mexican George Ramos spouting off about how Trump is so racist whenever he mentions anything about the wall. You’ll never see the likes of their skin color making a sprint across the Rio Grande. And why? Because they don’t have too.

  7. As they say, watch the whole thing. It is a terrific interview and I rarely take the time to watch an entire JRE podcast.

  8. Isn’t it ironic, that we can’t afford to support our vets, because they are asking for more than peoplekind can afford! We can’t afford to finance our military properly, Yet we can finance Turdo’s attempt to get to the UN with untold millions to third world nations. We can give ten more to a thug, a convicted terrorist. We can’t afford to improve the lives of seniors in nursing homes, we can’t afford to budget for infrastructure of our nations roads, bridges and electrical grids, yet we can afford to shut down the country and then find hundreds of billions to pay for pet things such as out of work university youth, and a thousand other people holding out their hands for free stuff. Billions we don’t have, and hot printing presses running 24/7 to produce the stuff! I bet a lot of those billions find their way into liberal pockets and liberal supporters pockets, but none in the new gun bill for crime and gangs, or illegal transporting of guns across our borders. Yet plenty to strip us of our guns and our rights and freedoms. This Government in one year alone, has increased the national debt by more than any other Canadian Government has done in any fully elected mandate period, and the idiot stupidity of the eastern half of the Canadian electorate, will probably vote them in again!

I’ve mentioned this before, but it’s relevant here as well. There is a symbiotic relationship to Government and criminals. They need each other. When crime begins to get out of hand, how many times do we hear, “The Government should do something”, or, “They should make a new law”. If we could somehow manage to completely get rid of crime and gangs, and drugs and so on, how much Government would we then really need? Probably about twenty five percent of what we now have!

Government by definition wants more power and control, or, the ability to govern and therefore have more control, thus more power. Having a criminal element, creates a fearful public, demanding something be done and keeping the Government finding new ways to “Tax and Govern”.
Everything the Government tries to control, creates a new group of civil service minions, and a new bureaucracy, thus more power! Usually it causes costs to rise, and Government usually screws it up even more than a civilian business would! Civilian business is more about reducing costs for more profit and greed, whereas Government is more about power and control. They don’t care if it gets more expensive, it’s not their money paying for it, only taxpayers money, and they can afford plenty more, just tax the citizenry some more!

However, I digress! As I was saying, the Government and criminals need each other to exist, or at least the Government needs criminals to exist and grow their power. Why would the Government ever do anything that would reduce their power and control over the citizenry, such as providing funds against smuggling, or drugs and gangs! Lawful firearm owners are seen as a threat to the Government not the criminals. If we are armed we are harder to control, and if the Government decided to do something that pissed off enough of the citizenry to cause a push back, they see firearms owners as the true threat, because we would be giving our spare firearms and ammo to our friends and neighbors in a civil war. This then makes it harder for a government to exercise it’s power and control over it’s citizenry. Therefore, to maintain such power requires disarming the citizens. Hitler did this, as did countless other countries and dictators, such as Cuba, Uganda, Pol Pot,, Chouchescu, and so on. Before any country does anything that their populace would object to, they disarm that population first! Venezuela being the most recent example, they disarmed their population in 2012, and now look at that country. We unfortunately don’t have a second amendment in Canada, and the current and prior Liberal attempts to slowly disarm us has stumbled along but will never go away. Plus, once they complete the disarmament, there will never be a second amendment created to give us back our firearms!

When they declare any specific gun to be dangerous, and justify banning it, then of course, the next type or style of gun becomes the most dangerous, and also needs to be banned. Eventually we will get to single shot black powder firearms, and then they will declare that to be to dangerous for Joe public to own, and it will be gone as well! Then we are at our most vulnerable, and the gangs and guns and criminals will still be there, and the public will still be fearfully saying, “The Government should do something”! All we’ll be able to say is, the Government did do something, ….They disarmed us!
These latest Government shenanigans to “Improve” gun laws, and ban “Dangerous assault style rifles” the “buzzwords” such as assault style, are to create a fear of firearms in the public’s eyes, and is really about cementing their power and making us more controllable, not to “Protect the citizenry” but because they have plans for the future we will most certainly object to. More taxes, more control, Globalization, less freedom and so on!

You can put racing stripes, fat tires, and a spoiler on a Honda Civic, but that doesn’t make it a racing car, only a “racing style” car. Just as calling it an “assault style rifle” does not make it an assault rifle either, just because you dressed it up with dangerous “Pistol grips, and removable magazines” and of course cover it in sinister black paint, that makes it so much more “Inherently dangerous” than other firearms! Sigh, I long for times past when we had actual intelligent people in Government, and a Government that actually was looking out for it’s citizenry!

    1. well said Jerry.
10% is all the Government I am willing to support.
Government is force,it produces nothing,it consumes.
Thus no civilized society dare permit more than 1 person for every 10 to be a “helper”.Living at the expense of the productive.
Crime is in the interests of politicians, the Uni-Party takes turns criminalizing productive human behaviour and decriminalizing toxic action.
A simple reset would be to just criminalize everything government does.Arm all contributing adults and forbid all “servers” the use of lethal force.
Nearly 1/3 of Canadians would be unemployed overnight.
I forsee Justine’s Gun Grab suffering problems.
About time we all self declared as “Native”.
And acknowledge that Compliance is useless.
You have to laugh, notice we are not hearing any of the Urban Quims in the USA saying”What do you need anAR15 for?”
Gun stores,in Urban ‘Democrat’ Centres are over run with first time customers…
Bill Blair is bucking for sainthood,he wants to join St Allan as Canadians patron saint of Cached Guns& Ammunition.

That Wortman critter he killed 22 people?
      All white.
By failing to be inclusive was he racist?
