The “Revolution” Has Come to Suburbia

The narrative we’ve been fed the past few days is that all of the violence and looting have mostly been legitimate protests and that any violence and looting is the result of white supremacists. Late yesterday afternoon the downtown core of idyllic Walnut Creek, California was attacked by a small gang of “youths”. Please look here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here and let your own eyes decide the depth of sorrow and grief these folks feel for George Floyd.

    1. Ha…!!

Cut the cord 3 yrs ago, now have better range of content, can Watch ANY Movie – Anytime…can watch ANY Series – Anytime, no need for a PVR and at the same time save ~135/ month with No commercials and no MSM Propaganda.

      NVidea Shield. (Android)
      STD 50″ LED TV
      & an Internet connection.

No regrets – Screw the Left, MSM, AntiFa…(NAZI Filth)

      1. Simple: CBC is a pro-antifa propaganda machine. To pay cable companies/sat tv companies in Canada is to willing support pro-antifa propaganda.

  1. Floyd who?

His death means nothing to the groups who rob & steal.
Noticed, most of this is going on in lib run areas.

  2. Hmmm….there is one photo showing a white cop helping a black woman who was apparently shot in the arm.

    1. That photo should be icon around the world today and forever forward. But it doesn’t fit the Leftist narrative so it never will.

      1. A looter … shot by another looter. Just like your average day in Chicago. But no RIOTS ever ensue.

Why, yes … “looter” is my dog whistle term for POC

  3. How long will it be until a new appreciation for the 2nd amendment starts?

    Asking for a friend.

  4. Whoa! Slow your roll, my homies … dis still be da Bay Areass yo! Jus come out da stores wit less than a G-worths an you go FREE anyway … no arrest, no charge, no nuttin. Shoplifting ain’t no crime in da Bay Area … Dem liberals says dats jus stuff … it ain’t no crime to take stuff from whitey. Hells no. Take it easy my brothas. (My best Biden ebonics)

Guilty white liberals have created this scenario. Couple the complete decriminalization of shoplifting, with the release of all “non-violent” prisoners ovvvv culller … and even violent ones because … COVID … and we have organized Armies of Thieves on the streets of our fair society. So “fair”, and so “just” … that even the police are taking a knee while “stuff” gets taken.

Lefties like to say that nobody’s life is worth “stuff”. Buildings can be rebuilt, but Mr. Floyd’s life can never be replaced. I guess nobody’s “stuff” is worth a life … but it does have “resale value”.

What is OBVIOUS to me from these clips, Robert, is that these are gangs of professional shoplifters. The waiting cars, piled high with merchandise stuffed in by a half dozen street walkers … are the pimpmobiles of professional shoplifting rings. This “tragic killing of Mr. Floyd” … is the fucking Super Bowl for these shoplifters! Fucking Christmas in May. Want some kewl shit, for half price? Check out Craigslist today … eBay … or just you Local Fleamarket

    1. They must be serious. Even Victoria’s Secret was looted.

    2. Thanks for that, Kenji. You are SPOT ON!

Across the Bay in SF, people are fed up too. But I think their profound White Liberal Guilt is tempering their outrage against clear cut criminals.

Also, echoing what you’ve said, I believe there’s an underlying pessimism that anyone will realistically get charged with anything. The SF District Attorney is notorious for not prosecuting crime: https://www.kron4.com/news/bay-area/san-francisco-da-chesa-boudin-condemns-looting-says-peaceful-protests-are-needed-for-change/

    3. Your comment about the shoplifting rings remind me of something that I saw when I was returning from a trip to my house in B. C.

For some inexplicable reason, a shopping centre’s been built next to the Edmonton airport and it has some high-end stores in it. I was taking the bus back into the city and it stopped right next to that place. A group of youths of a certain ethnic persuasion got on and sat in the back close to my seat.

I wouldn’t have taken notice until I saw them pulling out all sorts of articles of clothing out of their backpacks and they started comparing what they had. That in itself wouldn’t have caught my attention but I didn’t see any shopping bags or receipts. The way they were joyously discussing what they got made me suspect that they didn’t spend a great deal of money when they acquired those goods.

What I suspected was that they lived in the city, came out to the airport to take advantage of some five-fingered discounts, and then returned home. That tactic would make any investigations difficult.

      1. Their ‘mugs’ might’ve been captured on closed circuit security cameras and if they’re not readily caught this time, their photos might’ve been entered into the police database for future reference for possible capture, or, perhaps, for some other future crime.

      2. The Outlet Mall.

I took some visiting friends there. It didn’t interest me but I walked through one or two stores. Mostly run by immigrants for immigrants.

    4. Kenji it is indeed time for a civil war. One will soon be needed here in Canada.

      1. “Kenji it is indeed time for a civil war. One will soon be needed here in Canada.”

        Oh yeah?

Then Canada’s right wing better get busy recruiting mercenaries. Because I see precious few with the guts to stand up and speak out, let alone fight.

        1. I said needed. Your statement about guts sums it up. I have asked people to stand with me, just stand with me. I have no takers. If I stand, I stand alone in Canada. Please read my posts and you will know what I think and stand for. There is only word, freedom.

          1. You’d be surprised about how many people are standing. The love of freedom is reactive, not pro-active. Lots of people in the shithole of Toronto have been “standing” by “protesting” the lockdown and the gun-grab. Real standing takes either lotsa money or lotsa balls, or both. One man with only one of those two can do very little. Many men with a bit of either can do much. Sadly, the money supply is so tightly wound up with the state that only the latter seems feasible.

  5. Whoa Kenji, Don’t you think you are going a teeny wee bit over the top? Naah, I didn’t think so either. I sincerely hope this doesn’t devolve further for the sake of your country….and ours up north as well, for that matter. Stay safe.

  6. The Weather Underground bombers where WHITE…. Bill Ayers was not Black…Charlie Manson was White and his crew where all White… ANTIFA is a white group of the same gangsters… They all use Black Americans to achieve their Communist goal.. It is easy to control Stupid people who have learned to LOOT & burn to obtain racial significance……Round up ANTIFA & all their supporters.. White, Brown or Black… Destroy the Money supply behind these thugs….Once ANTIFA is unmasked it seems reasonable that Civil lawsuits will be successful against everyone including Trusts & big Business interests… The Civil service employees & MSM fired for their connections to the Communist Thugs….

The Democrat Cities & States need to be held responsible for ANTIFA Coordination.

    JMHO

  7. Looks like it is time for tar and feathers and pitchforks in Edmonton. The idiot mayor thinks that people are going to shut down for the whole summer, he needs to be dragged from his office and informed that Canadians will no longer comply.

    1. This is Canada. The only things Canadians as a whole care about is the gilding on their cages.

      1. I left Calgary 6 years ago for many reasons. One of them was Mayor Nenshi. PO’ed in AB can you tell me – is the ring road completed yet or is City Council still “bowing and scraping” to the T’sui Tina Nation? I could not believe that a major piece of infrastructure was being held up – first it was “on” then it was “off” because the Indians wanted more money. Fair enough, it is their land, but I still think that the neighbourhood of Lakeview should have taken “one for the team”.

        1. They settled a while ago. They’re finishing the road over the bridge across WeasleHead and working just near me on the road(s)/bridgeworks for the McLeod/Hwy 2a South interchange. All winter long w/o “social distancing” either. Probably have pavement down for E/W traffic pretty soon, if not already. I don’t get out much to keep an eye on things, Steakman has a better view than I do.

    2. Mr. Bike Lane may well be grooming himself to succeed Red Rachel.

And, yes, he is a twit. He insisted on putting in bike lanes along streets with heavy traffic (e. g., 106th Street) only to take them out the following year. I found, being a cyclist, that some of those bike lanes really weren’t much of an improvement for me. I still had to weave in and out of the traffic in order to get around the vehicles that were parked along the street.

      1. In my part of the city, the bike lanes I described would go for, say, 100 metres and then stop because people used that section of the street to park. Ride for another, maybe, 50 metres and the bike lane starts again.

I mean, what’s the point in putting the %%$#@% thing in when I’m forced to spend much of my trip with motor vehicle traffic anyway? Oh, right, virtue signalling…..

  8. Well, Walnut Creek is still deep blue, so they are getting what they voted for. As they should.

    1. I stopped reading his crap when he said Roseanne Barr deserved to get censured. He’s a freaking poseur.

  9. Barack Obama actually tweeted “sustain the momentum”?!
I have not been posting because I was too disgusted to put my thoughts down coherently.
First of all, there is a feeling of the chickens coming home to roost since all the looted cities seem to be deep blue. A woman in Santa Monica tried to stop the looting by yelling stop, you are helping to elect Donald Trump. Damned right, she got that but she still didn’t get that it’s a good thing considering what is happening right in front of her face, as a result of politics she supported.
I won’t call it a feeling of schaden freude because civic order is a fragile thing, and its breakdown affects us all.
Secondly, anyone who does not think the whole thing is orchestrated is an idiot. To start with, Minnesota authorities said 80% of the “demonstrators” were from out of state. These people were almost simultaneously bused into these wide spread cities to wreak havoc. Is there a doubt that they were all paid besides keeping the loot they got? Gimme a name. Yeah that one.
The solution is simple. It would have been done in the Wild West. It was needed then to tame a wild populace. It looks like it’s needed now. In addition to sending in the national guard, declare martial law, and any looter will be shot on sight upon leaving the store with the loot … and mean it. After a couple have been shot, you don’t think the rest will just drop the loot and get the hell out of there? And that will be the end of that. But it will not happen.
We have gotten too soft to really believe the republic is worth saving. The barbarians are at our gates no less than Thermopylae or the Pyrenees. They are not “demonstrators” or “protestors”. They are just looters and arsonists. That we have fed and raised these young punks ourselves only makes the situation more tragic. They do not deserve to have the civil protections of our republic, since they only seek to destroy it.
Who is George Floyd? Not that any of the looters care. It’s just an excuse. In Berkeley they needed no more than a conservative speaker invited to speak on campus by a student group. Let alone that Floyd is a career hard criminal who most likely died of his own health problems. The riots are not justified even if Floyd were a totally innocent citizen viciously killed by a racist cop. It would still be one isolated case. More than twice as many blacks murder non-blacks as vice versa. When do we get to seek redress for that? (Let alone that Antifa is mostly white hoodlums and has been told by the black Minneapolis neighborhoods to get the hell out.)
Minneapolis, like most of the larger cities, has a Democratic mayor and power structure. Let them be the target of the demonstrations.

    1. A good post OB. ALL true!

      Re >Your first sentence:
      ‘He.’ Just. Incriminated. Himself!!!!

    2. One not so minor correction to an otherwise excellent post:

George Floyd’s death does matter – as do a string of other needless deaths of black and white people at the hands of the police (not that anyone pays any attention to the white deaths). The brutal methods used by the police are unacceptable. What was the point of this with Floyd? For ten minutes? When he was already handcuffed, and there was a car right there to stuff him into and tasers available to all.

Police attitudes and training have to change. Forget going home at night, the job entails taking a bullet rather than me if necessary. If you can’t face that, you are in the wrong job.

The US police changed from being those that police the observance of the law (hence the name) to Law Enforcement – which is not their job, enforcing the law is the job of the courts and prison service, and now, with the push to have uniform training and policies nation wide, they have moved to being more of an army of occupation. To enforce, by force, including lethal force, any hair-brained ideas that those elected to be our representatives, but see themselves as our betters and leaders care to dream up.

      1. You are falling for the liberal tactic of estranging the community from the police. Not just in poor black areas, also in affluent white areas.
You are trying to draw a fine distinction between policing the observance of the law and law enforcement. What happens when the policing reveals violation of the law? Shouldn’t the police turn to law enforcement?
Yes, the liberals have managed to corrupt the morale of the police force. Just as unionization corrupted the teachers, they are on the way to corrupting the police. You want them to forget going home at night and taking a bullet? Don’t let them be unionized. You want them to feel confident about who is in the squad car with them? Don’t corrupt the force by affirmative action. (The worst is to let more women into the force by reducing physical requirements for them. That means from day one you know they are not going to carry their weight.) You want them to have better morale? Support them when the press denounce them even when they did their job correctly, as revealed by extensive review.
I am not saying the police forces as presently constituted is perfect. Far from it. The results of all those policies have driven away many of the kind of policemen you are talking about, who are really in it to serve the community. You get the dregs who want to perform as little as possible, shielded by the union. You get the outright incompetent who got in on affirmative action. And worse, yes, you get some who are racists and sadists, and join the force because they think they can get away with it. (I had a few personal experiences myself when young, so I am not just speaking in a vacuum.)
Even so, considering the amount of daily contact the police has with the criminal elements in carrying out their “policing the observance of the law”, the number of celebrated cases of violation are few and far between, and most of them turn out to be not legitimate, as in Ferguson. By and large, training and supervision seem to be working. Yes, there is always a possibility of an incident. If you want to reduce the chances, you should work to remove the disincentives for potential good cops to joining the force.
The bigger point I was trying to make is even if there were an outright incident of police abuse, it would not justify the kind of looting and arson going on right now. There simply isn’t a systematic oppression of blacks in the big cities, run by black congressmen and liberal democratic city officials. A lot of neglect, yes, a lot of diversion of funds into their own pockets, yes, but systematic oppression, no.

    3. Good to read that you are well OB! Although I weep for beautiful Santa Monica. I posted elsewhere that Obama’s favorite phrase is … “that’s not who we are”. And I found it very ‘telling’ that he hadn’t made this statement about the RIOTING, BURNING, and LOOTING taking place across the nation. It implied … “that’s who Obama IS”. He’s a Molotov cocktail thrower. He’s a THIEF (taking his reparations). He’s a VANDAL (tear it all down maaaaaaan). He’s a Marxist revolutionary. He’s a constitutional criminal.

My sleepy little town of whitebread suburbia has a BLACK mayor. A BLACK Mayor! In a town that is 85% white (10% Asian, 5% other). Mayor Mike Anderson issued a CURFEW for Lafayette, CA. A nice little town of 25k whose most persistent crime is skateboarders on the uncrowded sidewalks. 9PM to 5AM people are NOT allowed to be outside. Not visible in the downtown. I’ve lived in this town since 1965. And even during the WORST of the 1960’s unrest was there ever a THOUGHT that this town would ever need a … curfew. WTF !!?? is happening to this country? Is this the product of “multiculturalism”? BTW … I KNOW the Mayor fairly well. He is a very DARK skinned black man, yet he speaks, acts, and behaves like any other of my fellow suburbanites. Yes, he is a fairly active Democrat … probably leftist. But a nice man who shares the same community values that I do. What a shame about the following …

I’m standing in line at CRESCO Rentals (returning a 90# jackhammer … what a weekend project, ugggh.) and the clerk is saying that the proprietor of Hank and Frank bicycles has parked their company van sideways on the sidewalk covering their front display window. I said “wow” (I’m quite profound down at the rental shop). The customer standing next to me said Lafayette was going to be targeted tonight. “What?” I asked incredulously. Yes, the internets are filled with chatter that the “urban” element were going to make an example of Lafayette tonight … including Residential break-ins.

Jokingly, I asked the patron where I could buy a shotgun 😉 this afternoon? He said his is under his bed loaded and he’s ready. He said he HOPED someone pays him a visit tonight. Please! he said … bust into my house! We conservatives and NORMAL American’s bide our time and are very patient … because we have a lot to lose … but back us against the wall where violence is the only way to remain living? You will have mistaken passiveness for weakness. It will be your last lesson, for which you’ve received an ‘F’ grade

  10. Allot of reporters getting beat up by the “Youths”, and they just don’t understand why.

Can’t help but point out that Barnes and Nobel stores across the nation are safe folks, no reports of break-ins or looting for George reported.

    1. Maybe the B & N stores are being saved to last. Once the riots are over the day, the books will be removed, piled up in a street, and set on fire.

      1. In 1823, Heinrich Heine wrote the words,

“Dort wo man Bücher verbrennt, verbrennt man auch am Ende Menschen.”

“Where books are burned, in the end, people will also be burned.”

More than a century later in 1933, young Nazi students in Germany organized a nationwide book burning.

        And in 2020…..

        1. And in 2020…..

The Antifans don’t know how to read.

  11. The sins of the few always condemn the many.
We see examples of it time and time again.
But I really just don’t care.
    And stay off my lawn.

    1. Indeed. Look at “gun control” in Canada. Our ruling class (be it conservative or liberal) invariably blames all the people that didn’t do it.

  12. Our PM belongs to ANTIFA. This is going to be his downfall before he knows it.
He plundered the country and gave money to the same crowd who is looting Montreal as I am writing this.
Forensic audit of the LPC leadership now!
Are there any cops in Canada, true to their oath? Arrest Trudeau!

    1. An arrest warrant against Mr. Dressup from the American feds for funding antifa would be the cat’s arse.

  13. YeahWell at 4:08:

“Real standing takes either lotsa money or lotsa balls, …

    Reply to YeahWell at 4:08:

    Nope. Just balls

  14. Walnut Creek?

Sheesh. A number of years ago I attended a Bat mitzvah there. Had a great weekend. Walnut Creek was a very genteel place.
Guess it’s changed since I was there.
