Once again power corrupts,DC is overflowing.
A large person handles power with great care.
A small person wields power with glee.

And these are the dead dreams of the cold war kid seem awful close.

  2. I have a question? Do guys like Papadopoulos think they’re that smart so as to not need the services of a lawyer when they’re being quizzed by the FBI?
If he did have one present – Ask for your money back and tell them thanks for fng nothing.

    1. He had an attorney…but keep in mind he was grabbed by the FBI at the airport because they thought he’d have the $10k with him that they used as a set-up to trigger trafficking statute. He gave it to an attorney out of the country so they couldn’t do that.

The interesting item is that he fired his first set of defense attorneys in 2018 because he believed them to be compromised. See a similarity with the Flynn case? I do.

All that being said, Papadopoulos strikes me as a “who you know” type of guy as opposed to a “what you know” type of guy. Your typical opportunist.

      1. I’ve known more than a few opportunists in my life but none that I’ve wanted this visited upon them.
Wrong date when he met someone? Let’s get real shall we?

  3. 6-ways to Sunday … to ILLEGALLY and IMMORALLY and UNCONSTITUTIONALLY… set up a Fall Guy … because … “by any means necessary” has supplanted “innocent until proven guilty”. What more “evidence” do you need that de Marxists have fully infiltrated our “Institutions”?

  4. At what point is it OK for the people to finally give up on waiting for justice from our “betters” and start taking matters into our own hands? This business of watching these guys walk all over the law with impunity is getting to be a little bit repugnant. (Incl canada)

  5. The left has a fixation with bullying, so they can be unhindered supreme bullies.

  6. Funny how the Privy Council is mentioned in the BNA Act and it has no defacto existence while the prime minister, who is never mentioned, does exist. Don’t get your panties in a knot over a legal fiction. The cabinet functions as the Privy Council, being a committee thereof, and 100% of these were elected as an MP in the last election. Un-elected cabinet ministers, generally from the Senate, are rarities.

  7. worse than keystone cops – they’re all very lucky not to be living in the time and place of the former soviet union – where incompetence in following orders would get you a one way ticket on the siberian express.

  8. In an earlier interview with Andrew McCabe, he was asked, not under oath. if there was evidence of Trump Russia collusion.
He stated he couldn’t rule it out, even though he did so under oath. How could he answer otherwise without admitting culpability?
I wonder what ended up on the cutting room floor of that interview, “if I admit it can be ruled out, I’m going to jail.”
Hillary or a close associate have been quoted in the rumour sphere as saying they’d all hang if Trump won.
Patience my friends, patience. Barr has made it clear criminal misconduct is within the scope of his and Durham’s investigations.

    1. This much like Mueller’s “[w]e did not, however, make a determination as to whether the president did commit a crime”. We did not make a determination as to whether John Doe did commit a crime, either. I can’t rule it out, because I really, really like to float the idea.

      1. And I can’t rule out that Mueller was guilty of treason for trying to overthrow an elected US president. He would be found not guilty because his dementia is almost as bad as Biden’s.

        1. I can’t rule out Mueller was the most inept man you could possibly choose. That was why he got the work.

  9. Who should be active to prosecute Clinesmith? DOJ? Why haven’t they told about prosecution so far? Are they doing groundwork to catch some bigger fish?

Also, it is of interest how the timing happens; it could be the investigation is public and running in November.
