  1. I noticed he didn’t attempt (or maybe he did) to have other countries sign this letter. I wonder how much pressure the rest of the world will apply towards sending Ghebreyesus packing. Because that’s the primary purpose of this letter (in addition to making a concise public record of their failings and bias).

    1. Replacement of the head of the W.H.O. would be the least of the “substantive improvements” Pres. Trump would require.

I think that he is publicly calling out Red China.

  2. Good work on then part of Prez.Trump, probably the only leader who will cal the two miscreants,China and the W.H.O. to account while Canada and the EU suckhole to their masters in Beijng.

    1. It is sad and pathetic that Trump is the only one with the cojones to do this. Where are the leaders?

        1. Maybe he’s also playing a certain variety of solitaire, though if he does it excessively, it may permanently damage his vision.

          1. Not his job.

To do what you ask for is job of every Canadian, at least those that are interested in the affairs of the country from municipal to provincial to federal.

If people are going to ask foreigners to do the job they themselves should do, its a losing propostion.

Trump is taking care of the US, they voted for him.

Canadians voted for an empty headed idiot that does not think there is such a thing as Canadian nation, then that’s what they got. Its up to Canadians to want better.
            Yeah, how many?

        2. He could be arranging his famous colorful hosiery in rainbow patterns.
          That takes time.
          Thumb sucking.
          Navel lintpicking.
          Coins into paper tubes.
          New laces on sneakers.

          1. Navel lintpicking.

That would be a given, considering how often he seems to be gazing at that part of his anatomy.

            Coins into paper tubes.

I thought he was so rich that he doesn’t know what coins are.

      1. Dear Leader has to remain secluded in order that we will all be safe. Remember, if it saves even one life…..

      2. Can you IMAGINE how butt-hurt and angry all HER and John F. Kerry’s embeds in the Deep State Department are at this moment? That the POTUS would not consult the Deep State Dept. to compose a letter praising the WHO for their “wonderful” work and brilliant leadership from Tedros. It warms my heart to imagine these leftist ChiCom fans in OUR State Dept. going absolutely insane over PDJT and Pompeo

    2. Anyone here know of a poll asking about citizen support for WHO, UN as turdle says we mostly agree with?

      1. It is not a question about WHO directly, but it is closely linked and encouraging that Canadians see the truth about China. From a recent Angus Reid survey.

“There have been several recent accusations against China and its handling of the coronavirus outbreak, including a proposed international inquiry on this issue. U.S. officials reported in early May that they believed the Chinese government had deliberately played down the severity of the outbreak in the early days in order to preserve its image and stockpile medical supplies. More recently, French President Emmanuel Macron suggested that he had considerable doubts about the information coming out of China regarding the outbreak.
It would appear that most Canadians share these concerns. The vast majority (85%) disagree with the statement “the Chinese government has been transparent and honest about the COVID-19 situation in that country”. Half (53%) strongly disagree:”

    1. Not to severe. And what of Fauxci ? Who said the virus was no big deal … and don’t discriminate against people who appear to be Chinese

  3. If you’re looking for the definition of “Leadership”, just read Trump’s letter. Of course, Turdeau is too busy contemplating his socks.

  4. This is what a true leader sounds like. No craven kowtowing to the genocidal criminals in Beijing like Trudeau and his corrupt cabinet. Bravo, Mister President. Now if you could find it in your heart to give your good friend Justin a spine transplant…

    1. Tank, I think we’d all be better off with him having a frontal lobotomy…followed immediately with his Mercedes Roadster having an unfortunate “mishap”.

  5. This is the definition of what lawyers like to call a “strongly worded letter”. Thanks Trump.

    A job well done.

  6. I hope the Spawn is too busy admiring himself in the mirror when he is not admiring China’s basic dictatorship to notice what Trump has done, otherwise, tomorrow when he is proudly flinging billions of dollars into the abyss de jour, he’ll announce that Canada will fund the shortfall.

    1. I suggested that tRUDEau and the LIEberals would fill the void on the same day Trump stopped payments to the WHO.

He wants that UN seat badly – SAD

  7. Hasnt he already promised Canada will fund the shortfall? Got to keep His chances for that UN seat open.
If only Canada could have a “Trump”! Just think how great this country could and should be!

    1. If only Canada could have a “Trump”! Just think how great this country could and should be!

Amen to that. The problem is, most Canadians haven’t a clue that leftism is the thing holding Canada back, and always has been. Instead, they just resent the fact that Canada is nearly invisible among western nations, and pretend that Canada’s weaknesses are actually strength.

      1. Let’s not stop at Lefitism; how about catering to one Language Culture at the disadvantage of the other Language Culture.
A tiny geographically sized Country with Two Language Cultures, serving as the Buffer Zone between the Primary Larger Countries of Holland and France, are unable to function fairly, within the remarkable assumption of alternating Governances as is the Walloon and Flemish cultures. Then the best and only solution for the second Largest Geographic area of Canada remaining civilized Nations is a clean break in identity.
There is not a reason for such large and relatively small Populations of a separation of Government. The smallest per capita of all modern Nation/States.
Canada as it stands and will stand within a premise of fair and reasonable negotiations not damaged by the Traditional ‘Foot Dragging’ impediments of self-interest practiced by Bureaucracy slow-walking and dangerous sophistry, to prevent a reasonable and peaceful natural formation of Two separate Countries.
The present proven ineffective Confederation premise pulled out of obscurity to define what was a dumping of the rapidly changing and assimilation of the French Language Culture into the Ten Times larger English Language North American is not being supported by a Bureaucrat Dominated European Union two language culture Entity such as the geographical tiny Nation of Belgium.
The long term expectation of having stable internal borders is and will remain uncertain in long term planning of the present Canada configuration. Let’s not the fearfulness of a self serving Civil Servant Class force back the proper allocation of “Turf” ; until another threat of brute force moitivates action; such as the British Empire’s Victorian Era rush to get away from an easily envisioned English Language Cultural occupation to forestall any perception of either Language Cultural having any curtailment in the “Human Rights & Responsibilities of The Individual.

  8. Oh to have that kind of leadership here in Canada instead of a patsy to organizations run by useless tools like the UN and the WHO.

  9. Ouch and boom! Could you ever imagine Justin talking so frankly? His father, yes, but not him.

Now watch the Leftists defend the corrupt W.H.O.

  11. Neil Cavuto eh.? ….and he’s on FOX..??

First time I’ve ever listened to his whiny smug arrogance….What a Total ASShole. He has no place at that network.

  12. I am reading reports that Australia Intelligence and other detected back in October, 2019 there were problems with the Wuhan level 4 lab. Unless there is a world wide response to China’s actions they will just shrug it off. Canada should appoint McCallum to respond physically to China. Oh he was fired…never mind.

    1. Even if he hadn’t been canned, he would likely have been so pickled that he wouldn’t have noticed.

  13. I only listen to Tucker on Fox News and discovered a guy in Tennessee, Christopher McDonald (The McFiles) I listen to him a few times a week. He’s attracting an audience not just from across the US but also Australia, Europe, S. and C. America. I see there are a few people in AB who sign into Chat. He’s a real southern boy and I would never have believed that he’d be the source of news. Love it when he gets a.n.g.r.y at the Washington crowd. He’s a preacher and can get a bit too close to cursing and/or a stroke!
Make a cup of coffee and drop into one of his shows – he has several (also on You Tube and Facebook etc.).
Wouldn’t be surprised if Trump hasn’t discovered him.

  15. Trump needs to permanently withdraw American funding from the WHO and the UN.

We’ve seen the damage they’ve done. Haven’t we had enough?

If China and Bill Gates believe in these organisations so much, they can make up for the American difference.

    1. I believe the U.N. should move to Ottawa if Trump defunds it. Largely because I am so attached to the thought of them enjoying the winters in the “world’s coldest national capital” – and their massive exudations of hot air might finally bring the rest of us some global warming.

Plus, with Trudeau still allowing direct flights from China, travel would be so much easier for all those poor diplomats.

  16. Bravo MR Trump. This letter should be printed and stapled to the sloped forehead of every UnMe.,

    1. Excellent letter, on point and clear. Evidence of a rational government individual, not high on pot like north of 49, and, looking out for the Nations and citizens interests. Not paying for pansy show.

One and near only conservative, citizen and taxpayer interest individual or NATIONAL leaders in today’s world.

Snowflakes and deadbeats, leeches and parasites hate this guy, because victim model is unknown to him. Well done President Trump, well done, you are truly a star in today’s world.

Canada, with porch rat PM, or whatever, slime and floor matt MP”s, no backbone or morals, or even sense of reality (gender neutrality, diversity, wandering) prime examples…is toast.

God help us all. Such promise, such waste, such sacrifice by others, our nation builders, wasted.

They would turn in graves if they knew what Libs etal have done. Sad, truly sad.

Looking for a new country, this one toast, my opinion.

  17. Just saw 2 clowns on CTV with severe TDS, saying the WHO won’t get fixed until TRUMP is gone . Jeremy Kinsmen and Lawrence Haas.
Both appear to be Useful Liberal Idiots spouting their leftist bile.
Both think Biden is the favourite in a November to restore order to everything.
It’s great watch these delusional, lying idiots, the truth is the opposite of what these leftist disciples say

    1. Dan, my wife had CTV on this morning and they lied about Trump, a flat out bald faced lie. What the hell can you do with morons like that?

    2. We saw the same thing—Kinsmen and Haas both think they are intellectual’s and are both so far on the left political spectrum it is sickening! Are there no journalists and political scientists in Canada!
What the hell is wrong with CTV?

  18. From what I understand, as a three year old toddler Donald Trump brought communism to power in China. There you have it.

  19. hb here

anyone wonder abt the silence my main web access was closed.
Im sitting next to a Timmy’s wifi outside with a 30GB solid state HP laptop

my immune system is made of titanium.

  20. I am still waiting for some curious reporter to find out about what administrative problems occurred in the Winnipeg lab, when two scientists were fired, along with Chinese students. Of course, no one will do their job.

  21. CTV etc…that’s expected. Knee jerk reactions! Nothing new here.

But John Gormley?? Yesterday commenting on his dislike of Trump?
What does he want for a leader…a pastor?

He pretends to be a small government conservative while at the same time advocates for bigger more centralized Rural government!
Dismissing the 90% plus voting by SARM delegates who reject his idea’s.
John if you reject this kind of arrogance in our PM….please don’t practice it.

    1. Gormley must be playing to the TDS crowd. He can’t be that stupid to dislike what Trump has done. Or can he be? Just listening to him blathering about the CCP virus supporting the lockdown. This man is loosing it, nearing that line that defines leftism.

We have 296 municipalities in Saskatchewan. That is a least 200 too many. Clearly time to down size.
You omitted the likely reason the delegates rejected downsizing … they would be loosing their jobs.

  22. That is a point of view Ranger but not mine. And I have done some research. Plus have served myself.
A google search of amalgamation and you will find many examples that it has not brought better services for the ratepayers but in fact has brought about the worst of big heavy handed government.
The role of councillors that do it as a service for minimal indemnity is by far the majority.
Smaller government closer to the people is far more accountable and nimble.
The “co$t” of a rural council is a small portion of the ratepayers burden compared to all the rest of its costs.
