Gov. Cuomo admits he was wrong to order nursing homes to accept coronavirus patients
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has finally admitted — tacitly and partially, anyway — the mistake that was state health chief Howard Zucker’s order that nursing homes must admit coronavirus-positive patients.
On Sunday, Cuomo announced a new regulation: Such patients must now test negative for the virus before hospitals can return them to nursing homes. Yet the gov also admitted that COVID-19 cases might still go to the facilities via other routes, and didn’t explicitly overrule Zucker’s March 25 mandate that homes must accept people despite their testing status — indeed, couldn’t even require a test pre-admission.
Keep this “brilliant expertise” in mind when you read about the explanations as to why Southern California is being kept shut down for another 3 months.
Cuomo need to kill elderly to match the quota now that there aren’t as many abortion as before lock down.

And that same “data” and “science” informed the County’s reopening of the beaches … where ONLY active recreation will be allowed. ONLY: running, walking, swimming, and surfing is allowed. No sunbathing is allowed. No beach towels, umbrellas, or coolers. Why? Because “science” and “data” proved that sitting still on the beach, slathered in SP-30 … is … “dangerous? Please DO show me that “science” and “data”. Seriously. I’ll wait … dum dum de dum dum dum …
Ohhhh … I see … the “science” and “data” are really … “appearances”. The “science” of Photographing sunbathers from a parallel viewpoint makes the sunbathers “appear” closer together than 6ft. because of “depth of field”. And since politicians don’t want to “appear” to make “unsafe” decisions … you cannot enjoy the beach in your normal fashion.
Our politicians are “brilliant”
Michigan and Pennsylvania are doing the same thing. I am in Michigan and spent an entire day trying to find a clean mask for a family member who works in a nursing home. She had worn the same mask for a month, but needed a new one because she had been in contact with a covid+ patient (who had become ill verrry coincidentally after they shipped a positive patient in to convalesce and transmit to the population). I found her a mask, but then spent another day trying to find a government employee who cared about this endangerment of the elderly, to no avail. Initial patients did well with hydroxychloroquine, zpac, and zinc, but they suddenly stopped that treatment and have lost at least 3 more patients while managing another 15 infections. Oddly enough, our governor directed that these patients be sent to either our temporary hospitals OR nursing homes, but has since had the temporary hospitals dismantled after spending millions of dollars and treating just tens of people. But. We must ruin the economy to save even just ONE life.
