  1. It’s like that mythical penny they tell you about in statistics class that could land heads 50 times in a row and still be a fair coin, it’s possible. Thousands of times in a row? It’s a trick coin.

    1. Game theory.
I think its about time we showed these a55h0le5:
      We aren’t playing.

  2. I am not surprised. I automatically assume that whatever the press says is a lie now. I am the outlier though as I do a lot of background reading and make my own mind up. The country has a HUGE percentage of people who do not though.

    1. exactly….they don’t care that it was an obvious lie

the vast majority of their audience will believe/fall for it, and that’s the point

  3. Not only are they not taking responsibility for the Russia lie they are doubling down hard. In particular look at CNN or CBC reporting and op eds. And a lot of people believe them.

  4. You remember more of what you see than what you hear.

Similarly, you’re more likely to remember the original story than the correction.

Expect to see a lot more of this in the coming months.

  5. People have to block the news channels that come with the cable packages simple as that.

  6. trump should kick these news stations out of the WH for a specific time period and then permanently if they do this stuff again.

  7. I found the question itself to be structured to predetermine Barr’s decision as EVIL. “How will history look at this decision?”. Short answer: no different from how we all look at it today. If you’re an Obama-is-god Leftist … you believe the decision is bad. If you are a Law and Order conservative … you thank the REAL God for both PDJT and Bill Barr. The question implies the decision is bad. Disgusting Press. Not really interested in the answers … but the narrative they are fabricating.

But everyone here already knows how rotten the legacy media behaves.

    1. Kenji, I have commented elsewhere on this. It should surprise no one that the media would lie by omission.

  8. Yes long rant, but article below made my political blood boil.

They’re a desperate bunch trying to invert their miscreance into virtue while projecting their malseasance on Barr as cover.
But, like they said on Sesame St, one of these things is not like the others, such as an investigation into actual crimes.
Now they’re “outraged,” without precedent they say, at vacating Flynn’s guilty plea and Stone’s apparently easy treatment.
The state of the nation and underpinnings of the justice system are now in play by Dictator Trump – for two process crimes.
It is actually, but in the opposite way they would have us believe, provided they can marginalize the deplorable producers.
They doth project too much with attempts to obfuscate zero criminal predicates, producing a tell, led by flinching Obama.
Apparently if you plead guilty to a crime and later evidence comes to light showing your rights were shredded, tough luck.
You should have had a better lawyer. Who ever heard of people filing because their counsel was negligent. Oh, it happens?
Well that just proves their “case.” Check out this ridiculous article, rife with errors of omission and opinions posing as facts:

“Last week, the department again put political patronage ahead of its commitment to the rule of law, filing a motion to dismiss the case against former national security adviser Michael Flynn — notwithstanding Flynn’s sworn guilty plea and a ruling by the court that the plea was sound.” No mention of unethical tactics, zero criminal predicate or Flynn’s plea withdrawal, his right, btw.

“First, Roger Stone. He was tried and convicted of obstruction of Congress, false statements and witness tampering, based on evidence that he had lied repeatedly to a congressional committee investigating Russian interference in the 2016 election, and then threatened a witness who could have exposed those lies.” Right, crime of the century. Note the weasely “evidence he lied” and not actually describing the so-called “threat.”

“Nevertheless, after public criticism of the prosecution by the president, the department moved to dismiss Flynn’s case, claiming that new evidence showed that the plea had no basis. None of the career prosecutors who handled Flynn’s case signed that motion.” So the parties to arguably disbarrable misconduct disagree with Barr? Perhaps they were too busy consulting their lawyers. I recommend they talk to Covington and plead guilty.

“In both cases, the department undercut the work of career employees to protect an ally of the president, an abdication of the commitment to equal justice under the law. Prosecutors must make decisions based on facts and law, not on the defendant’s political connections. When the department takes steps that it would never take in any other case to protect an ally of the president, it betrays this principle.” The best one imho, completely oblivious that he’s describing the prosecution and FBI.

This laughable excuse for journalism and insight, so blind its own bias, is boilerplate Dem diversion. They need a new scandal.
They even dropped the ball on the political gift of the century – covid. A booming economy brought to its knees.
What do Dems deliver, Biden wants to put all under surveillance while Obama implores us all to trust liars and scoundrels.

  9. The problem is that the people who watch and believe in the narrative only saw what they showed on TV yesterday. They will not see a retraction or correction because they don’t follow Twitter, or go to web sites that correct this kind of stuff. True believers read the headlines, not the stories to see the actual facts. AG Barr has to go on next week and demand they show the whole answer and force a retraction on live TV, but they won’t invite him, and he won’t force the issue.

    1. Dwayne, that would be the non-thinkers, covers one hell of a lot of people.

  10. Chuck Todd.. Hmm he was the guy that got MSNBC to provide (ONLY) Democrat Californians the MSNBC exit Poll data of Florida IN 2000… Gore’s mental midget experts (statistics) were wrong….MSNBC should have been shuttered…A travesty of Justice was the calculated recount (only those Gore won) in Florida… The Florida lower Courts ruled against Gore, but the Florida Supreme Court keep recounting… Corruption all the way

    1. Your truth.
      Which is actually lies.
Imagine condoning the threatening of a man’s children for political advantage.
Just what kind of pondscum are you aspiring to be?

Oh. And lots more to come.

I predict that Faulty Memory Syndrome soon overtakes the Wuhan Flu.
A particular Democrat affliction coming soon to a hearing near you.

    2. I would probably agree to almost admit to almost anything if I had been bankrupted, my kids were threatened and my career was destroyed after two+ years of legal torture too. People being tortured frequently admit to that which they did not do just to make it stop.

    3. And let’s not forget he was being advised by lawyers who worked for the prosecution when he made his plea deal.

    4. Not interested in hearing someone’s “opinion” and rephrasing of what Flynn ACTUALLY said to the Russian Ambassador … vs … what he told the FBI he said. Didn’t Flynn tell the FBI … hey! You guys already have the transcript (spying) of his discussion … so why are you asking me about it? That is answer-enough as far as I’m concerned. The FBI had the transcript … everything they did after reading that transcript was illegal, deceptive, and utterly corrupt.

“How did you get two FBI Agents into the WH?” Comey: “I sent them”. Comey needs to be arrested and perp-walked, in his ‘big and tall’ pajamas, at 4:30am with FOX News tipped-off ahead of time. Worst FBI Director in the history of the Agency.

    5. Now you’re quoting Never Trumpers as authoritative sources for news? Seriously, dude.

Did you think no one would look that up?

  11. RETWEET if you want to see James Comey raided on live television.
Covered by Fox on a hunch.
Accompanied by several alphabets and whirlybirds.

And Twatter is trying hard to hide the stories.

Can’t in my wildest dreams see the Noble Nobel Prize Winner doing the funky perpwalk.
Experience says there just isn’t that much justice anywhere.

To say nothing of a fond desire to not burn down the inner cities.
More likely, they run the clock out, the Communists win the election and Trump is re-educated.

The word Obamagate has MAGA in it.

In the meantime, like dreaming of lottery winnings, anything is possible.
Grab some popcorn and hope the USA finds some justice, if only by accident.
Watching Libranists squirm is not something we get to see much in Canada..
    Blame the Media.
    I do.

  12. Pure bunk, some biased fool’s opinion Flynn has “arguably” undermined anything.

We don’t believe the demonstrable liars anymore, so demand evidence, not conjecture.

Obama has shown his evidence of a guilty mind with an unsubstantiated warning about Flynn, who would have blown up the whole Russia collusion frame Trump sedition.

One worthless on its face assumption piled on another, creating illusions of bad Flynn and the Russians. We now know the whole thing was a disgraceful lie, with no argument US justice was undermined. What does Unbrain do – project.

Flynn withdrew his plea after his lawyer discovered malfeasance from the FBI and negligent incompetence from counsel.

Read my post above you imbecile. Cases get overturned all the time when new evidence comes to light.

Trump haters are truly a desperate bunch, their daily declining excuse for a presidential candidate, hopelessly corrupt and/or incompetent FBI/DOJ apparatchiks who went from the Hillary exoneration to the Flynn frame, then to the Mueller mendacity.

Too bad for them the multimedia can provide legion examples of their diversions, inversions, projections and obvious lies.

Truck sized holes in their logic are blisfully ignored as sins of omissions masquerade as fact, hoping nobody will notice.

It’s been noticed, and glaringly so. Trump is a strong leader who will easily defeat their power lusting incompetents.

      1. In this case Shamrock is placing pearls before swine, but a great summary for anyone who hasn’t been following the story.

    1. Obama’s moaning and groaning does not sound like Ivy League articulation to me. My local bar hosts more erudite debates than this import.
The sooner he sails through the trap door, the better.

  13. Does anyone still watch network television news? Cable-cutting has reached epidemic proportions during the lockdown because there’s no more live sports.

Meanwhile Netflix picked up 15 million -new- subscribers.

  14. Those that want to know, know the deception.
Those that just heard the “journalist” and don’t have a skeptic thread in their brain will never know the truth.
This is calculated by the former “social scientists” of the fallen Soviet Union, to work.
It’s very difficult to dig out the claim.
Read and heard daily news for some 15 years in a socialist country run by communists, you learn to read between lines and weigh the arguments and presentation.
You could at times see the “journalists” to be uneasy, lying.

This guy Todd is so cool lying, you can never tell if you just listen.

    1. Or you could read the Red Star or watch the CBC.

And they lie without uneasiness or remorse.

      This is not a recommendation!
