Wuhan Flu

Rossana Segreto, University of Innsbruck | Institute of Microbiology

Abstract

Based on my experience in genetic manipulation I do not exclude a synthetic origin of SARS-CoV-2 and I believe that the topic should not be censored. I did a literature review on this subject and I suggest in my manuscript a possible experiment that could have originated SARS-CoV-2, known to be chimeric. Moreover, I do a critical analysis of the paper of Andersen and colleagues recently published in Nature on the Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2. This paper is considered a proof that SARS-CoV-2 has a natural origin, but in my opinion lacks scientific evidence. With my work I do not want to accuse a specific research group, but raise attention of the scientific community on this topic.

Coronavirus lessons on density, mass transit, bureaucracy and censorship

One reason vaccine development takes so long: There is a condition in humans called antibody dependent enhancement (ADE). It turns out if you have no antibodies you get the disease and if you have a lot you are protected. If you have this in between level (of antibodies) and you get the disease it actually enhances the disease and the immune response is really destructive.

  1. If people in Canada are allowed to doubt the Communist Chinese word it could negatively impact Justhins Pay for Play Trudough Foundation.

  2. The testing for the Virus (IMO) has a bias that will produce “False” Positives. (Don’t want false Negative).. Do you think someone should be following up on the status of all those that had a false positive? I assume they are counted as confirmed cases, or a Probability algorithm is been used…..

  3. The graph from John Burn-Murdoch keeps showing weekly data against average data without any indication of variability. More useful information would be an indication if the current weekly death rate is outside the normal variability of the data point. He is asking you to believe that the high values are unusual and therefore must be related to Covid, but without the context of variability this is impossible.

Now, if the weekly deaths were outside three standard variations we could say that this might be unusual. If they were outside for say, three weeks in a row, you would be looking at having to explain that by random chance in one instance out of 8,000. Not very likely and so you would go looking for reasons or attempting to infer explanations.

Some of the graphs show multiple grey lines which might be an indication of variability , but then various notes call them “historical averages” which implies that the variability information has been removed.

Either way, my engineering bullshit detector is triggered by these graphs. Drawing a data point, comparing it to an average, asking people to infer a trend, and not showing variability: these are techniques of a bullshit artist. I don’t know this fellow from a hole in the ground and I have not looked into his credibility.

These graphs are not useful for inferring information about a data point being unusual without variability information.

    1. Good point…..and the other thing is the implication that “excess deaths” are all Wuhan virus…..even though there has been (at least in the U.S. and likely elsewhere) one of the worst flu seasons in years.

      1. Art, non COVID health issues are being pushed aside, thus driving up non COVID deaths, which skewers the numbers

      2. Well from what I have heard, Hospitals receive $13,000 per Positive test.
An additional $39,000 if they have to put that person on a Ventilator – which in all likelyhood will end up killing them. (As per Dr. Judy Mikovits)

        Euthansia for profiit anyone..??

        1. Next thing you know … we’ll be harvesting their organs too. With technical assistance provided by Planned Parenthood.

    2. Also, no analysis as to whether the excess deaths are related to the covid lockdown rather than the virus itself.

Old, fearful, stressed out people locked up at home, malnourished, frightened to go out and frightened, sick and stressed enough to fail to report strokes, heart attacks etc.? Dunno, but it’s getting ugly out here.

Unless of course one is on a government salary, inflation proof and with a nice pension.

    3. William Hugues,

English not being my first language I could not say it as well as you did, but that is exactly what I thought when I saw that it was compared to ” historical average”

      how convenient

they are not comparing to 1957 when 116,000 Americans died of the H2N2, to give one example,

and as many have said those excess deaths are not even identified, could have been flu, could have pneumonia, could be anything

and that is if those numbers are even true

  4. Kate, there is a yet another video making the rounds called “The Great Realisation” by some British poet called Probably Tomfoolery. It is a pure piece of marxist tripe making the typical emotional pleas and of course invoking the future of our children. It is all over youtube and twitter for the past couple of weeks or so.

I would ask SDAers when you get forwarded this (and related) nonsense and you will, to point out its marxist origin and meaning. They care nothing for the children.

    1. I saw The Great Realisation. I thought at first that it may be satire.
The horror gradually dawned on me.
It also beautifully demonstrates the mind frame of so many people who seem to be happy about the lockdown and who seem to want to prolong it; people with secure income and retirement plans of course.

  5. Let’s all keep in mind that of all the theories that are being floated a simple fact. The Chinese government blocked travel out of Wuhan to the rest of China but allowed/encouraged travel to the rest of the world. The rest of the world should be dumping on them and if they’re not we should be looking into why they are not.

    1. I’d like to see evidence of this asymmetric travel policy in China. It is important. I have searched for this but found nothing credible beyond assertions.
The counter point is that the few flights that have been identified were cargo, were repatriating citizens of other states outside of China.

  6. If we see a drop to below normal mortality rates in late summer or early fall, it will show that this disease was not a home run hitter, but instead cleared the bases with strong doubles and singles. Similar to heat waves, unlike cold waves.

  7. “UK had 43,000 more deaths than usual in March & April vs 22,000 reported Covid deaths at the time”

Is this the effect of kicking sick people out of hospitals so they can treat Wuhan Flu cases in empty hospitals? I doubt it is under-reporting. I think we are suffering from over-reporting.

    1. If it was similar to other places hit hard by Covid, a lot are the excess deaths were people found at home, some likely covid but not tested for (stroke/heart attack COVID). But it’s going to take years to unravel all the data, there’s just a tsunami of it right now, and it’s too early to make assumptions.

      1. I don’t believe it is an assumption that death diagnoses for; stroke, heart attack, diabetes … and all the usual month-in and month-out regular statistical causes of death have cratered while CHICOM deaths continue to expand. It appears as though “cause of death” is a really, really, fungible statistic. I don’t find this helpful for our understanding of this disease … or any other.

The economic incentives, alone, are skewing the truth. Let alone the political motivations.

        1. kenji, the feds are forcing an increased count in America. Anyone can find and see what they have done regarding deth certificates. I am a bit OCD when it comes to numbers, heart deaths are about 8,727,670 a year, stroke deaths are about 6,221,072 a year, world wide. Just try squaring those numbers in relation to cov-2.

      2. I agree, Kate, the data is very poor. No one in any country has any valid data. Everyone in govt is “winging it”. I think we should open up fast in warm places soon. If there is to be a second wave, we should get it done in the summer heat, not wait for fall.

You and your CH doggies will be safe.

Sent from Palm Desert with no lawn chairs at the pool,

No virus that I know of survives in the sun at 104 degrees, however, this is the rule.

    2. “UK had 43,000 more deaths than usual in March & April vs 22,000 reported Covid deaths at the time”

English is not my first language, so please correct me if I am wrong about the meaning of that,

what I get from the sentence above is that there was 22,000 covid deaths but they had 43,000 more deaths than usual

that means that 21,000 of those ” more deaths” were not from the covid19

      right?

then what did they die of?

and why was there more of them?

      what am I missing here?

  8. Wow! Actual TRUTH printed in USA Today. I’m shocked. Shocked, I tell you

  9. L-Corona virus lessons- density of population kills, mass transit kills, bureaucracy kills and censorship kills.

So what you’re saying is: Leftist policies kill.

Didn’t we already learn that from the 20th Century ? Apparently, not.

  10. “Elvis Was King, Ike Was President, & 116,000 Americans Died In A Pandemic

    “The year was 1957.

“Elvis’s new movie “Jailhouse Rock” was packing the theaters. The last episode of “I Love Lucy” aired on television. The show “West Side Story” held tryouts in Washington, D.C., and opened on Broadway in September. Ford’s new car the Edsel rolled off the assembly line. The Cold War with Russia was on and “In God We Trust” appeared on U.S. currency. The first Toys R Us store opened. “

    1. Made note of that yesterday, I would suggest that everyone read it.

  11. I would take great delighting looking like a fool after this is over but the final scene will not be good. I don’t think that I and those who have done the science who agree with me are wrong.

    1. I think the title is PLandemic. Excellent video. Mikovitz is very believable. She has two books out: Plague of Corruption featured in the video and Plague: One scientists search for the truth. I have started reading the second title — well written and convincing. If she is to be believed, it looks like Fauci and the CDC are seriously corrupt. Watch the vid before it is taken down.

    2. steakman, yes indeed. Startling, if true. I saw it via The Burning Platform 2-3 hours ago and mentioned it at the bottom of a comment above.

      Title is PlanDemic.

It made sense to me and seemd to solve several mysteries /contradictions. The lady seemed 100% genuine to me.

I thought Fauci was a sleezeball as soon as I clapped eyes on him and heard his voice. And, oh yes, his cherriness about the lockdown made we want to punch his clock.

      What were you charged with?
Nothing. They put me in jail, destroyed my reputation, my life, and sealed the records.

  13. I firmly believe that people are dying, and I am in agreement that there is more moralities than normal for this time of year. But I have to say that looking at the graphs that the Financial Times is producing is very misleading in that the scales are all over the place. You have to look at each scale and try and parse out the results based on the lines drawn. I understand the need to keep each location separate, but they would be better served to use a single scale so differences in locations can be compared, or orders of magnitude discerned.

One other thing that is disappointing in their depictions is a lack of comparison. They are plopping down this year, and this year only, on the screen. So any thing that happened in the past cannot be referenced. When you do find websites that try and provide for comparisons to the past, some just look back a few years, and there is no real understanding of the scale of this pandemic versus other pandemics.

    1. Ugh. Just out of curiosity, does anyone actually know someone who has had the virus (hopefully recovered.) I do not know anyone and in my network of contacts. I know only one person who actually does know someone who had it and recovered, though that person is not in Canada. I know the virus is horrible for elderly and those with a severe case, but I do hate the fear mongering– e.g. “could go on for two years” . . . news stories about vehicles that cart away the dead . . . scary numbers with absolutely no context. So demoralizing.

      1. LindaL:

Katie Hopkins makes this exact same point: she knows not a single person with the WuFlu. Very VERY strange for a pandemic. Neither I nor my wife knows anyone.

Below yours I also opined that Mikovitch seemed VERY believable.

        1. I fear for Dr Judy Mikovits.
Arcancide has a nasty habit of showing up at the damndest times.

          Believable.? Damned Straight she is.
This Woman has my respect…big time.

As for knowimg anyone who has it.?? Nope, not a Soul…strange that…

      2. While all my friends and a lot of my family are old or extremely old, no one’s caught it yet (knock on wood). I’ve been living in Florida since January and none of my neighbors here have caught it either. Everyone mentioned except for my better half are being careful, venturing out to commercial establishments in masks or not at all. Exercising is about 25% masked. I tried walking and cycling – no can do. So, a Buff pulled up as needed.

      3. Yes. Two in fact.

One was a co-worker of my kid, who was sent home, tested and found positive. Though young, he hasnt returned to work, its been 6 weeks.

The other is a family friend out of town, she’s in her 50s. Was hammered by the fever, chest pains and cough. Though she wasnt hospitalized, shes been sick for weeks. The illness is real, its not a hoax. Depending on your province, you may not know anybody due to the small number of cases.

        1. To clarify: I’ve never thought the virus was a hoax, just the response, the new excuse for an ever greater ramp up of state power. Another hoax is the suggestion that we will be returning to normal and that these ridiculous “social distancing rules” will be canceled or relaxed.

          NEVER.
