When The FBI Does It, That Means That It’s Not Illegal

Conservative Treehouse;

An interesting article from Fox News asks the question of whether Mueller’s special counsel attorney Brandon Van Grack misled Judge Sullivan in the Flynn case by not being forthcoming about the background documents under the DOJ Brady obligation.

Additionally, as a consequence of the Flynn evidence discoveries people are now asking why the FBI and DOJ did not produce these documents earlier. Representative Jim Jordan is specifically asking these questions of current FBI Director Chris Wray.

More… Professor Tick Tock Von Boom Boom, a close personal friend and information distributor of Comey and other Russia hoaxers, seems to be letting us know that those people do not like Christopher Wray accurately acknowledging how much they messed up.

  1. We are almost four years after the start of that sordid Flynn entrapment. Does anyone else besides me feel that the long drawn out timeline of revealing the truth of this, of what seemed so obvious at the time, means that justice in the whole Russiagate affair is at serious risk?

I say this, with the deepest respect for Kate’s dogged effort at keeping this in our sight.

    1. After all, it seems obvious that the Dem strategy is delay and draw it out until a Democrat administration is in place, and then sweep it all under the rug.

      1. We therefore see that it is important for the Dems to win this one. There is a lot at stake.

        1. Another Trump win places the AG in his control, and hence, the time needed to see this out.

  2. Trump needs to Fire AG …” Justice delayed is Justice denied” A–hole needed a Grand July in 2018 after Forrest Gump was fired…. He knee capped himself on Mitch’s orders… Hope Mitch is beaten by his Democrat Cocktail George Town friends….

    1. Disagree. Barr is in his corner, and capable. The minefield that is DC politics is the problem.

      1. I read the treehouse daily along with at least a dozen other conservative US sites and so far I am reluctant to put much confidence in Barr. I have not seen sufficient action to make me think anything is going to happen to the criminals involved in the “soft” coup against the President.

  3. Handcuffed and forced to sit on the ground, while two very courageous police persons made this arrest of a very dangerous person in a costume. The police are becoming more dangerous to us than the virus. They want respect then they better start giving it.

  4. If there is a delay it could be that they need to close off all the escape clauses so that the rats don’t have the ability to hide out until a friendly administration is in place.
They need to be effective and methodical until the swamp creatures are prosecuted. The tell is going to be when a high placed democrat is thrown under the bus in an attempt to distract long enough for the rest to scurry out on an escape clause or become a client of the witness protection program.

    1. Yes Joseph, squeezing witnesses out is a difficult and slow task, and some don’t understand that. See how Flynn’s lawyer , slowly squeezed them. Now things are coming together. Also the criminals are often lawyers themselves, so extra slippery. And then there is arkinside lingering is the shadows. Just ask Vince about that>

  5. Well … call me an eternal optimist … but when this whole sordid affair didn’t expose and prosecute the rats 18mos. into the greatest American Presidential Administration in my lifetime … I chalked it up to strategic timing. I had assumed the perp walks would be timed for Sept./Oct. 2020 … as the MOAB of all October surprises came crashing down around the Demoncrats heads.

What is the ONE tell that this may yet still be forthcoming? Joe Biden. The Dimwit-o-crats are running a dementia ridden serial sex abuser for POTUS. They KNOW what’s coming … so why bother.

    1. Kenji, or they are planning a sneak play.
And will roll out an Oprah or similar caliber of candidate late in the game. Cuomo the crook, or whomever else they think they can push across the finish line.
All the elite’s money will follow in untraceable torrents. Add in the google msm oligopoly, ballot stuffing, and other crooked schemes, and a return to power for the kleptocrat elite will be ensured.

  6. If you think your comment disappeared, you’re thinking right. I said no “off topic” and I meant it.

    1. Why do I get the feeling you just saved me another insipid response from a certain UnHuman lurking on these pages?

    2. Was that by michael mc, by chance? I have grown weary of skipping past his effluent. Good show, Ms Mc.

  7. I’d say Wray is in a defensive crouch. He has allowed his team to try the deep freeze with the documents, but the electricity went out and the docs are starting to leak. But he himself didn’t do the dirty deeds, so he is pushing prior management off the boat. Tick Tock Von Boom Boom’s tweet is a squeak of alarm.

Remember, Mueller’s unmasking as a senescent dotard happened at the end of last July. Durham opened a criminal investigation in late October 2019. Flynn only hired new counsel last June. This has moved along as fast as possible since Trump got cleared (and he did get cleared, no matter what anyone says) by Mueller last April. The stall has been the result of (1) Sessions recusing and Rosenstein being dropped in, (2) Rosenstein appointing Mueller to investigate, (3) Mueller unethically failing to end his investigation after he had determined that there was no collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia very early on.

I am amused that Wray says that the new documents were “previously” provided to Horowitz and Durham. Prior to what? That doesn’t speak well of either Wray or Horowitz, but Flynn was all tangled up in his guilty plea–the argument is that Flynn pleaded guilty so he doesn’t have any right to see any new documents after the plea was entered–Sullivan invited him to withdraw it, remember, and he declined. NOW he is trying to withdraw it, and these inexplicably overlooked documents are giving him some traction.

CTH is informative and dogged, but I question sundance’s judgment sometimes. We’ll see how this turns out. Prior management (Comey, Yates, McCabe, Strzok, Page, and numerous others), which has been fired, will be exposed, disgraced, and shamed. Whether they will be put in the criminal dock remains to be seen. My impression is that Barr and Durham are not messing around.

  8. I’ve read some comments elsewhere questioning where are the *ethical* DOJ/FBI whistle blowers in all of this? My guess is that Durham and Jensen are speaking with them already.

The so-called Ukraine ‘whistleblower’ was a political farce. Actual whistle blower testimony goes to the toothless IG. Criminal witness testimony goes to a prosecutor, in this case Durham, initially to be presented under seal to a grand jury.

Barr in particular knows how politically sensitive all of this is and the importance of procedure. Especially low- and mid-level informants will/would be destroyed by the Democrat-friendly media machine, not to mention Arkancide, if they testified the ‘wrong’ way. I think that all involved, including the witnesses, know the stakes and know to keep quiet until it all comes out by the book.

  9. Christopher Wray was NJ Governor Chris Christie’s personal lawyer in the Bridgegate affair, was educated at private schools on the upper east side and so on. Just another east coast deep state RINO, who will not do what is needed.
Which is to fix things asap by restoring the republic to function in fairness, and for the benefit of all its citizens.

    1. I’d say Wray is hanging on to that job by his fingernails. When Flynn is resolved (probably by dismissal or failing that, by pardon), Wray will be gone. If the judge dismisses the case against Flynn, Van Grack better be ready to be a professional defendant for the next ten years, and Wray had better wear a football helmet, because Judge Sullivan is going to whack him with a two by four. This will be the second time DOJ prosecutors have treated Judge Sullivan like a chump on Brady material in a high profile case (see Ted Stevens).

You can see Wray teeing it up: we fired all these bad guys, and we turned over the bad stuff “previously” to Horowitz and Durham. It wasn’t me, it was Comey.
Comey: it wasn’t me, it was McCabe.
McCabe: it wasn’t me was Priestep.
Priestep: it wasn’t me, it was Strozk.
Strozk, it wasn’t me, it was Comey.
All: it wasn’t us, it was Brennan.
