Stephen Kotkin is a professor of history at Princeton university and one of the great historians of our time, specializing in Russian and Soviet history. He has written many books on Stalin and the Soviet Union including the first 2 of a 3 volume work on Stalin, and he is currently working on volume 3.

    I like Harry’s idea of getting the professor’s take of the Two Trudeaus.

    1. Additional thought, would love his take on Chi-coms and how they’ve evolved since end of Soviet Union.

      I think understanding extreme far left, extreme far right is much easier in a circle than on a straight line.

        Yup. From the perspective of their victims, there is no difference.
