    1. There IS no punishment for treason in Canada, high or low. That concept went the way of the WW2 generation.

        1. The first Trudeau changed the conditions for treason, it requires that one take up arms against the Canadian military or it’s allies in a field where the Canadian military is active. Kinda like Khadr did.

          I am not sure if the Prime Minister is considered the “Commander in Chief” like a President. I don’t think they would make themselves subject to military courts.

          1. Quite right, Deplorable. Steakman’s problem is that we are NOT a republic. Treason does not apply in Canada with respect to civilians, i.e. not members of the military. The Prime Minister is NOT commander in chief and thus a military court has no jurisdiction. A Prime Minister is like every other member of parliament. He or she is subject to criminal and civil law same as any other citizen and that’s it.

          2. @ cgh Technically and legally you are correct of course, BUT anyone who was paying attention during SNC Lavilan / Judy Wilson Raybould escapade knows very well, he is not subject to any law what ever.

        1. Phill, I used to have my own little business, and totally disagree with you, as 1 demographic comprised 20% of my clientele, but was the source of about 80% of my problem customers.

          1. It is not necessary to relate it to demographics. You would have the same problem with a homogeneous clientele.
            In engineering management (and I guess it would apply to management in general) we had that 20-80 rule of thumb. It applied the other way too. 20% of the engineers did 80% of the work. That may sound cynical, but it was more often true than not.

Most problems apparent are in your reading comprehension and and a sign of your personal defects. I am really curious though, what solutions do you believe stem from systematic errors made by any cultures or creeds?

        As to being a member of the “5 Eyes”, I would doubt highly that any intelligence would be shared with Canada, as the Canadian government has a bad habit of turning around and giving the information to China/or Russia/or the Arabs – just my humble opinion.

    The hospitals sit empty, waiting for the wave that never arrives. Not some hospitals, all right across North America. Staff are being sent home for lack of work. Notice the drop off in ‘hero healthcare worker’s posts on social media?
    The pandemonium in NYC is due to high pop density without enough hospitals and not enough PPE. It’s an anomaly the press wants you to believe is the norm.

    It would appear since April 5. Give it another week to see if the trend sticks and heads down even more. Stats in Calgary 845/28 CASES/DEAD as of 11 April @ 10:00 PM. We have 4 hospitals for 1.5 million souls. The biggest elephant in the room is asymptomatic souls who show no symptoms, who are wandering/driving about the City. You aren’t tested unless visible symptoms.
