  1. That kind of thing is bound to happen eventually if people keep burning fossil fuels year after year after year.

  2. So are all the polar bears dead yet or not? I ask because I didn’t see them in any of the Coca-Cola ads last Christmas.

    1. Why can’t polar bears eat penguins?
1.Penguins live in the antarctic and polar bears live in the arctic.
      2. They can’t get the wrappers off (Penguin = UK chocolate bar).

    1. I suggest that Dr. Fauci’s crack team of chart builders add a little more FEAR to this graph … oh … all sciencitific and whatnot … mathematical “projections” and whatnot. And NASA needs to explain how “normal” is not good anymore. That if the planet wants to avoid warming … we must drive it into another ice age … by funding a new NASA Ice Age Study Group for $125B/yr.

  3. How many years of accurate data do we need to assemble before we out these climate charlatans as fake science? Meanwhile Canadians are shovelling out money from their accounts to a government that is doing everything they can to shut us all down.

  4. We as conservatives have to unite around one political agenda that is not a sellout or go slow version of the liberal angst, but an alternative to it. Sure the climate could warm in the future, and it might not be our doing. So there’s no harm in planning strategy for the mitigation of rising sea levels. It could happen. The nature of random variation is that anything could happen.

But the current economic situation shows, inadvertently perhaps, how dire the politics of climate change alarmists could become — this is essentially what they want and very few people in the general public are very happy with it.

Climate alarmists act as though a slight rise in sea level could mean the extinction of humanity. This is patently ridiculous. There are things far more important to preserve in our society, such as free speech, freedom of inquiry, and a robust economy, than the first five or ten feet above sea level. Things can be moved or protected in that zone. It’s not as if the changes would be happening overnight.

But the outcome is up to us — if we don’t offer the alternative in our part of the political spectrum, then all this aggressive talk will mean nothing, just people inside an echo chamber exchanging known signs of conformity. We need to take this to the level of confrontation. Unless there’s a change in the politics we saw in the 2019 election, only the PPC offers any realistic chance of making this approach available, the CPC are stuck in the rut of ambivalence on this subject. We know they will go along to get along, and do nothing of use to change the wrong-headed globalist agenda.

    1. The climate has been changing ever since the Earth acquired an atmosphere. Climate alarmists have existed ever since people stopped being nomadic and started living in settlements.

      1. “Climate alarmists have existed ever since people stopped being nomadic”

        The first being Chicken Little.

    2. “planning strategy for the mitigation of rising sea levels:” Peter
Peter I take exception to the false premise that Land Mass & Seas (ocean) share a common bottom… The Continent shelve separates cause & affect… The High/Low tide levels are the result of changes in gravity, not volume…The laws of Physics hold the planet in balance

      JMHO

  5. Climate Crisis alarmists have placed their trust in an iceberg free global fever hypothesis, a political vessel most accurately christened the Titanic.

  6. Impossible.
The IPCC Team (TM),Computer Models “proved” the sea ice will be gone.
    Ergo,these observations must be wrong.
Let us sail forth,to sail the Northwest Passage, for there is no ice there…
We are due for another ship of fools.
Our resident troll, intellectual superior and alround “expert” , pay attention, they have a berth for you.
    Is it just me?
Or are the same quality of computer modelling and statistical analysis being demonstrated now by the WHO and their dramatic viral projections of Doom?
    Is it a UN thang?

  7. A few days ago a friend of mine was all excited telling me a chunk of ice had broke off (from Antartica?) and would raise the world’s oceans 2mm.
I wanted to ask him if it might increase precipitation levels and decrease desert sizes but its pointless to argue with zealots.
