  1. Interesting, not sure if I have ever seen this guy on screen, but he’s right of course.

Hollywood is where Conservatives have to go and learn how to tell a story.

    1. He played astronaut Deke Slayton in the HBO series From the Earth to the Moon. He was also in the movie Tigerland.

      1. I like Searcy’s point that conservatives have to marshall money to set up their own film distribution system. The current Hollywood system is corrupt, run by corrupt people. Christian churches do this now, producing small-budget Christian films and showing them in churches. We show monthly films in our local Baptist church.

  2. Thanks to this post, my husband and I are going to binge watch Justified over the next few days while we are house-bound. Great show and Searcy is terrific. May have a bourbon or two as well. Sadly, no Pappy Van Winkle in this household.

I have the Gosnell DVD, (freebie for donating to the making of it) but haven’t watched it yet. I’m not sure I have the stomach for it.

    1. Yeah, I gave them the money and told them they could keep the DVD. I know what evil looks like.

Searcy, like James Woods and Dean Cain and Kevin Sorbo, has accepted he’ll never work in Hollywood again. While I enjoy their newfound freedom to sh*tpost and mock the entire entertainment establishment, it irritates me that this is true. They’re fun to watch when they get into a role. I sincerely hope Chris Pratt doesn’t end up in the same bin.

    2. Justified is a great series! Searcy as Art Mullins is TV gold, too. The very best scene is where Art tells Raylan “That thing that didn’t happen? We ain’t gonna talk about it.” It’s priceless.
