  1. Weird how a band of activists opposed to fossil fuels think it is important that they use fossil fuels to drive all over the country so they can perform the vital service of plinking guitars.

  2. Virtue-signalling idiot artists losing money.

Faster please, as Kate would say.

  3. It’s nice to see the left getting a taste of its own medicine.

    1. Had you ever heard of this band before? I never have. It’s a small band, small consequences. A start, maybe, but we need to fry much bigger fish, whales even!

      1. Yup. Such as greeting every green hypocrite with catcalls and cowshit every time they show their faces.

  4. When you make it part of your business to advocate for the destruction of the livelihood of others, don’t expect those others to support your business. In the war on prosperity there’s only two sides, producers and destroyers. Destroyers are destroyers regardless of any empathy they offer those they target or regardless of whether they cower behind the state as it acts on their behalf.

  5. They’ll play in front of other SJW virtue signaling … people. Who will more than make up for the financial loss of playing in front of some small AB/SK towns.

  6. It’s a standing joke on the left that the revolutionary vanguard have the better songs but the capitalists have the better weaponry.

  7. They should change their name to “suck and blow”. Maybe Jason kenney could hire them. Same message

  8. Vancouver, Lower Mainland hypocrites.
Victoria STILL pumps raw sewage into the Georgia Straits. Not sure if Vancouver City is any better. They ship coal to China from a point just south of the City of Vancouver….37 million tonnes or so of it, both US and BC coal as of 2018. Alberta supplies ALL of their petroleum products and they bitch and call us out on it? BC Hydro buys coal fired supplied electricity from Montana, Oregon and North Dakota, cheap and charge their own residents and industry BC prices. Look it up! BC Government is so virtuous.
OIL COMPANIES send oil down a now Federal Government owned and operated pipeline to the Seattle area and Vancouver and to points east. Alberta does not own, or pump any of it. We just collect a royalty at the wellhead. We’re the bad guy, though.
I got few words to say here, but I’ll respect the Saskatchewan lady who runs this blog and bite my tongue on some of the words.
John Horgan, the Weevil, the Lower Mainland, Notley and anyone in the NDP, Sock Buoy and the whole LPOC, Greens, plus Teronna and most of SW Ontario, commie Kaybec and the Maritimes, can go stick it where the Sun don’t shine with respect to their views of Alberta, oil, natural gas and Equalization. If I could, those pipelines supplying you all petroleum products propane, anything related to petroleum in this country, would be shut in from here. I’ll give Notley some credit, John Horgan pissed his pants and went to court when Notley threatened to cut off BC. Like a little girl.
    Freeze in the dark.

    1. BAM.
      In short: Fk em all

As a QC/QA Inspector in OUR industry, 100% Agreed as is EVERY Guy/Gal I ever worked with in the past 40 years.

The BIG ONE is overdue and for me, cannot come soon enough. May it obliterate the island and scrub the Lower MAOLand right up to Hope. We’ll take the rest.

Massive Kudos to our kindred souls in Kindersley..!!

      WEXIT…STAT.

  9. Kudos to Kindersley! The left has given us the rules and the playbook. Now let’s play to win!

  10. The Left doesn’t seem to realize that weapons they create will eventually be used against themselves.

  11. In related news Justin Timberlake is still traumatized by performing at SARS stock in Toronto and having bottles of urine thrown at him.

  12. By the way…I see the band is still scheduled to play in Nipawin and North Battleford, Saskatchewan.

Be nice to see them save the environment by completely shutting down all their touring.

  13. Had an incident late last month where Grams and I went out for a weekend and attended a blues night at a local Inn. We’ve done many of these and usually have a good time, was looking forward to this one as the artist does roadhouse blues and is quite good with the guitar work.

About the third song in he alludes to the theme as relating to Pres. Trumps election and putting the bad man down. Emphasis on putting the man down during the performance. Some sporadic cheering from the usual idiots, but a lot of silence from the mainly older, white crowd. He followed with some anti-corporate stuff that left the room silent, and some confused.

I commented to the organizers about being subjected to this and after the break it was much better. No idea if something was said, but the artist stopped commenting.

Being annoyed that this idiot interfered with enjoying a nice weekend away, I decided to return the favour. As I work with many law enforcement agencies, and have done a lot of work in the USA, I contacted some that I know in Immigration.

I hope his next trip through US Immigration annoys him more than he annoyed me.

  14. Beardos and Weirdos! Have friends that work, make money and contribute? They should try it themselves, sometimes!
“We did have some people say that they were thinking of protesting outside our show and cutting power to the building during our concert,” the group’s Tom van Deursen told Saskatchewan Afternoon’s David Kirton Friday.

Aww, muffin! What’s sauce for the goose, as they say..

Hipsters: People that grow beards, but have no idea what they are for!
Hippies: People that make soap, but rarely use it!

They should have invited Corb Lund instead!

  15. Corb has a Saskatchewan tour coming up in May. Cadillac is where I’m going to see him.

Won’t be any of the small town artillery crowd in Cadillac.

    Ranch baby.
