Went to a wedding over 30 years ago that was populated with wannabe Supreme Court of Canada Justices — almost all of them from Qc. They started talking about their “National” grievances. Being from Alberta, I heartily urged them to go. They backed off their tough talk right away — it had all been bluster. It was then I suspected the whole Qc. separation thing was a racket. Just think how much pain we would have saved and how much gain there would have been if they had gone in ’95.
Better yet if they had departed in 1980. We might have been spared the NEP and our “constitution” as PET would have been busy fighting fires, so to speak.

I think India is showing great courage is allowing Christians and others threatened in muslim lands to become Indian citizens while keeping out muslims. The slaughter of them in so many countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Burkina Faso is endless. Muslims are a plague that destroys all it touches. The amount of native Indians killed over the centuries by muslims is in the millions.
