No one has explained why Putin would try to rig the American federal election for Trump or against Sanders. It seems to me that Putin would prefer it the other way around. Republican presidents have historically taken a hard line with Russia, and a booming American economy swimming in its own oil is hardly in Russia’s interests.
Are you seriously asking why Russia would want to support a president who constantly praises them, refuses to say anything remotely critical, lifted all their sanctions, and vetoed new sanctions that were voted unanimously by the House and Senate?

Indeed. Sanders has been a socialist since Day One. In his youth, he was even a member of something called the “Young People’s Socialist League”.
He has been a socialist far longer than a Democrat. I believe he was briefly a card-carrying member 2015-2016 (in order to run in the presidential election) and rejoined the party in 2019 in order to, er, run in the current presidential election.
If Bernie had a decent bone in his body, he would have endorsed Trump long ago.
Actually, if he had a decent bone in his body, he would have stayed in Israel and helped build his mother country, rather than spent his adult life making common cause with those determined to ruin someone else’s. Heck, by now he might even have been a minister in several Israeli governments and head of his own party.
Thing is, Bernie doesn’t give a damn. He enjoys running for president and making promises he’ll never have to keep. More fun than keeping the roads fixed in a hippy-ridden Vermont town, and easier work. Bernie doesn’t want to be president. Perish the thought. That would involve too much adult responsibility.
Ditto his Senate career, where the bills he’s sponsored himself that became law can be counted on one hand. For Bernie, the Senate is the ultimate welfare scam for someone uninterested in honest employment.
The Burn became a millionaire with three houses and never produced a damn thing in his life other than aggravation. He has been at the trough so long he believes that is how people are sup[posed to live. Everything comes from someone else just like a gift.

I just listened to a few minutes of Bernie speaking to a huge crowd (only Dem who can attract a crowd of over 50) and feel sick. My God in Heaven, that man told more lies in 3 min. than most politicians can in 30. ‘Course we now have Dick Van Dyke supporting him saying this is the most important election since WWII so that should win a few million votes from the over 90 crowd.
