  1. In the News: a city council discovers a virtue signalling project lacks sufficient dogooders. Tax hike follows.

  2. all these ‘sharing’ subsidized schemes are doomed to faliure.

Bike sharing and car2go died in Calgary. Both heavily supported and subsidized by city council.

  3. The sanctuary city of Montreal. That city wasted $millions of taxpayers’ money with their stupid Bixbi (bike rentals) experiment not even 10 years ago. I remember the money lost divided by number of bikes rented equaled $10,000 per. No corruption there, folks.

  4. In a world where people can’t be bothered to return their grocery carts 100 feet from their car, I am not surprised in this type of “disorder”.

    1. 100 feet? I’ve seen them leave the cart in the road when the return cage was only 10 feet away. Hell, right next to their car even.

    2. Aint that the truth…it used to bug me when I had to remember to keep a loonie in my pocket for a grocery cart…now, I love it. Something Costco aught to implement.

Talk about lazy…but, thats Canada in a nutshell.
Stoopid – Ignorant – Lazy. (that which gives us our globetrotting Jester of a PM.)

….and our current Calgary City council…? a classic example of Incompetent, Stoopid, Ignorant Lazy trough feeders that have no issue pissing away Multi Millions on any number of TOTALLY Useless Vain Projects, and then whining to the province about it.

One could be excused for thinking they were Liberals..?

      1. Count me racist (while I am not) but from the purely statistical POV acquired while sitting in the Costco parking lot waiting for the wife to return from the store, I contend that white and black Canadians return their carts in 90% cases while brown Canadians only in 10%.
I keep seeing brown Canadians shoving their carts in between the cars right next to their own one.

  5. This is just the usual proof that the greenie/leftist/socialist folks do not recognize the degeneracy of man. They always assume that people will all be responsible and things will turn out all sunshine and rainbows, but it always turns out like this. All one needs to do is look at the number of courthouses and judges and the long wait for a trial to know that people will try to get away with whatever immorality they can. And that’s just the ones that get caught.
Asking most people to be responsible without babysitting them the whole time is a fool’s dream. There has to be a big stick involved somewhere.

    1. It’s also the issue that instead of prosecuting the offender, Liberals will punish everyone.
      Example:
Certain people don’t care if they toss their plastic bag, coffee cup, fast food container, etc. Instead of going after the actual offender, the government bans said articles. Liberals are just too damn lazy to be trusted for anything.

  6. Responsibility is something that has been lost on the past few generations…
It shows in every aspect of daily life.

  7. We had these things in San Diego CA. They were left everywhere. Middle of the road, sidewalks, in the sea and bay. Folks either falling off of them at high speed or running you over as you walked on the sidewalks.

    Nuts.

    1. “in November, Singapore banned electric scooters on sidewalks, followed by Germany and France.”

Liberals don’t have the capacity to learn from others, like communism they always think they can do it better.

  8. Like in the San Diego area hey spent money on bicycles for a big ride program program they ended up scrapping the bicycles when no one took up the idea yes liberals are screwballs

  9. the experiment in fact was a resounding success; it proved at whatever cost that the public
WILL resort to chaotic anarchy given the tiniest encouragement and excuse and opportunity.
rollicking superb experiment well worth it.

  10. It’s a conspiracy!
Righties can’t clean up after themselves.
Cons at night causing the chaos.
    It’s the wind in Montreal.
    I blame Harper – or Trump – or Kenney……
