  1. Hey remember this tweet from Donald Jr?

    https://twitter.com/DonaldJTrumpJr/status/1203116583427678213

“For perspective the US is about 10X the population of Canada so this would be the equivalent of America shedding 700,000 jobs. Yikes!

    Maybe Justin should watch @realDonaldTrump
& learn how to create jobs… or go back to being a substitute drama teacher.

    Either way Canada wins!”

    LETS DO SOME MATH!!!

USA jobs created 2017-2019: 6.3 million (Trump)
USA jobs created 2014-2016: 7.9 million (Obama)

Canada jobs created 2017-2019: 969,000 (almost all full time)

Apply Trump Jrs fuzzy math (it should actually be 9x): 8.686 million jobs created in Canada vs 6.3 million down south.

Whoops, there goes the narrative!!! Sources: BLS, stats can

    1. What kind of jobs ALLAN…? Hmm.?

In the US, those 7 million are likely for the most part manufacturing jobs.
In Canada the majority of those jobs were Govt Trough feeder hires. Manufacturing in Canada ..?? Does’nt Fkn exist.

We outsourced most of that to your Communist Chinese buddies and the Mehikans. Largely thanx to Kathleen WHINE, Unifor and a Fed Govt run by a 2 bit trust fund punk with the intellect of a licked dry toilet bowl.

The same goes for that mulatto Race Baiting – Islam Ass kissing Bastard who preceded Trump….mostly govt Jobs that create/manufacture SFA but misery for small – medium business with millions upon millions of Socialist – BS regulations

Spare me your CBC inspired BS ..

      1. The US GDP per capita is $ 65,462 US compared to Canada’s $ 46,290 US. Under Harper production was close with Canada ahead for a few years until Trudeau won. The spread on the graph looks like a chicken wishbone since Trudeau won. More than enough minimum wage jobs to go around. We’re pumping a lot of pain in Medicine Hat. A big whack of employment increase came during government hiring by the communist regimes in Alberta and Ontario.

        https://countryeconomy.com/countries/compare/canada/usa?sc=XE15

    2. It’s not really about job creation is it…….

      Unemployment rate 2019:

      Canada 5.7%
      US. 3.5%

Job creation gets harder as rate as gets lower.

Canada is doing well …. but not as well as US.

      1. Except the unemployment rate is calculated differently on both sides. Did you factor that in? Im guessing probably not.

          1. Waiting for your explanation o knowledgeable troll.
(But not really expecting one ‘cause you got nothing)

          2. The formula for both is different. Canada will always be about 1% higher than the USA even if the unemployment level is the same.

    3. Looking at only the US new jobs numbers, you seem to think that having high unemployment is a good thing:
      https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/unemployment-rate
This is consistent with the job creation rate in that a lot of people will take short-term or under-employment when times are tough. Resulting in higher job creation numbers while the job market, overall, is hurting.

Unemployment rate for 2014-2016 between 5% and 7%. Unemployment rate for 2017-2019 between 5% and 3.5%. And the participation rate has been increasing under President Trump, also. Charts on the right at the link show some interesting correlations to job losses and full time employment numbers.

Figures don’t lie, but liars can figure. Usually by presenting without context or larger picture.

Why do you like times of misery, and favour them over the boom times?

      1. Why are you ignoring the biggest factor here? Time in between recessions. That is what is driving record low unemployment, not anything Trump has done.

        1. False, if the low unemployment were caused by people abandoning the hope of working then the participation rate would be dropping, not increasing.

The case you’re seeing is that more people want to work, more jobs are available, more of the available jobs are full time (not part time or contract, though they still occur too), and that things are better in the US for more people.

As I asked, why do you like times of misery. Government intervention like Obama’s (and Trudeau’s) crony capitalism can be very good for the insiders, but worse for everyone else.

Got to hit the road, so I won’t be able to whack-a-mole any falsehoods in any future responses. It doesn’t mean you win because I can’t answer your points, it means you’re shouting at the wall.

    1. So I notice that your graph has a truncated scale to exaggerate the effect, you are comparing different years for Canada and the US, you don’t mention the quality of the jobs (Obama they redefined the meaning of full time way down), and the quality of the jobs created (Obama was lots of low paying part time jobs), and Obama job creation was just a market readjustment after HUGE job losses (remember the crash) that took much longer to recover from than it should have.

      Try this graphic instead: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jobs_created_during_U.S._presidential_terms#/media/File:Job_Growth_by_U.S._President_-_v1.png

It actually makes it look like Carter was the job creation champ, but what was he recovering from.

All of these guys are chumps compared to the good old days of FDR getting almost 5% job growth in his first term, almost 3% in his second term, and 5% in his third. Maybe we should go back to how things were in the 30s and early 40s.

On to the issue of wage growth:
      https://www.cnbc.com/2018/01/31/pay-gains-under-trumps-best-since-the-great-recession.html
      https://thehill.com/policy/finance/439805-wage-growth-shaping-up-as-key-2020-factor-for-trump

Obama only broke 2% wage growth twice, the other six years were under 2%. Sounds like people were losing to inflation.

An analysis by Muro and his colleague Jacob Whiton found that average annual employment growth in counties that voted for Trump jumped from 1.5 percent before Trump took office to 2.6 percent in the first 21 months of his presidency. Counties that voted for Clinton grew at a slower pace, from 1.7 percent to 2.2 percent.

Gonna have to troll harder, you are neither winning friends nor influencing people here. Maybe you should ask your handlers for more money for your shitposting, non leftist countries seem to be having improving wages,

      1. Wage growth doesnt happen until unemployment is low. When it hits 10%+ it simply takes a long ass time to fill up again.

Trump is benefitting from the longest period in between recessions.

        1. Wow, look at those goalposts go!

I doubt you even see the internal contradictions in your arguments, never mind your positions, or should I say your paymasters positions. Which NGO do you post for?

          1. Ah yes, resorting to ad hom attacks. The usual sign that you’ve lost the debate.

            I accept your surrender.

      2. You do understand that Obama inherited the worst recession in 70 years while it was under full swing? You are being quite dishonest including those numbers. No real economist would compare job creation vs terms. Only partisan hacks do that.

You should look at trends instead. The trends show job creation slowed after Trump took over. Period.

It’s not my fault that it upsets you that you believed Trumps BS. Maybe you shouldn’t rely on faith so much and rather go after actual numbers.

        1. The recession was caused by progressive interference in the market (forcing banks to make loans based on skin colour, not ability to pay) and by the election of Obama and the knowledge that he was raised as an anti-capitalist (therefore hostile to business, therefore businesses hunker down in order to survive).

1 person getting hired 6 times for work for two weeks each time would should up on that chart 6 times. Even though they were unemployed for most of the year. Even though their wages received might yo-yo or decrease. Even though they can’t make payments and lose capital items like houses or cars. You need to look at the whole suite of data, not pick one item and say that it is the only indicator that matters. Unfortunately average household wealth is only charted every 10 years, because that’s the key indicator that would decide this discussion. But the data granularity is not there.

    2. Allan you are full of it. The numbers in the US are the highest they have been in 50 years,. Not real bright are you.

      1. What numbers? Job creation? Nope. GDP growth? Not even close to the 90s.

If you really believe that, you are no smarter or better than the hardcore communists who believe anything Maduro says.

    3. Allan S: Do you really think some guy w/o any experience, any qualifications, who never created 1 single job because he never owned 1 single business but is named Trudeau actually can accomplish miracles as “PM”?

Do not underestimate the spill over effects of Trump’s effective economic policies north of the border.
Most Mcjobs created were just that. Many job losses had benefits.

You libtards always think you’re smarter than us. And “you simple types don’t understand numbers” is really telling from you.

      1. Oh thats a joke and you know it. Canada lead the G7 in GDP growth in 2017. What did Trump do at that time that could even possibly help Canada?

        Zip.

If anything his policies such as unjustified steel and aluminum tariffs have hurt our economy.

        1. Folks this is what you get when some Lib clown decides that the propaganda coming from a French Canadian dominated, Fully LIBERAL infested Civil Service is GOD given TRUTH..!!

Go back to the Trawna Star sonny.
Your Upper Canada cheerleading fails big time.

          1. Ad hom attacks, the surest sign that one has completely lost the argument.

            I accept your surrender.

In the meantime, feel free to actually look up the numbers instead of relying on faith in Trump.

          2. Allan is just stupid. Replying to him is a much as a waste as replying to the un one. heck, maybe he is the un one. Scary sh-t that.

          3. I apply with reason and sound concepts. No ad hom attacks. I even post sources.

            Where am I wrong?

The problem lies in your faith in Trump, not in my concepts. You don’t bother checking anything he says.

          4. I apply with reason and sound concepts.

Just like the wrestlers on the old Stampede Wrestling claimed that their methods in the ring were based on science and logic.

          1. Their reasoning made no sense. Why was Canada punished for Chinese steel and aluminum? We produce a lot of both, and there is no reason why we should be punished.

What Trump was trying to do is create a trade chip out of thin air for NAFTA talks, and he succeeded.

          2. REAL stupid, aren’t you, Allan? Trump doesn’t have to accept Chinese steel and aluminium with “Made in Canada” stickers on it, precisely because he doesn’t have to accept Chinese steel and aluminium with “Made in Canada” stickers on it. He doesn’t have to accept ANYTHING he doesn’t want, from ANY other country. Neither do we – it’s called a “free market”. And in this case the U.S. had countervails against China for dumping steel and aluminium, and the Chinese were using Canada to end-run them, and we let them, and the U.S. knew. And Trump was elected partly to put a stop to other countries taking advantage of the U.S. like this.

Doubly damning for Canada as the U.S. told us to cut it out a year before the NAFTA renegotiations broke out. We didn’t. Trump would’ve been perfectly within his rights – and perfectly justified – to close the U.S. border to us, and we could like it or lump it. And that’s “unfair to Canada”? Awwwwww, Muffin…

    1. He’s exactly right. Liberals and their voters are disgusting. Liberal voters are often very ignorant though, so many can be excused, but still, everyone should be somewhat grown up and responsible when they vote.

Fight and die for little Justin’s “post-nation state” ? Get bent. Not gonna happen. None of the people in power in Canada give a crap about the values that built Canada. “New Canadians” lol… don’t give a crap about the values that made Canada great either, that’s why the powerful recruited them to live here.

      1. Canadian values used to be Christian values, now we have no values other gimmie what I can get and screw the rest of you. The current way “forward” is actually a spiral downward and it is getting worse as the people become more ignorant.

      2. Trudeau got elected twice. Last October he beat some “conservative” (in name only) guy who also wasn’t ready.
Our “Post Nation State” is another way of saying shithole of diversity. I was in Afghanistan (Kabul) as a Canadian soldier when Sgt Speer was intentionally killed by a Canadian born and trained Taliban insurgent, Omar Khadr. Khadr could as well have killed a Canadian soldier. That was a big injustice to every single Canadian Afghan war veterans to have this terrorist walk free.

After a total of 20 months combat duties in AFG I now turn my back on Canada, a true shithole of diversity.
Trudeau is the guy that will drag us into a recession soon enough, which will be step 1 for our demise.
He’s importing 100,000s low IQ savages w/o employability here.
I’m betting the house on Trudeau to finish off Canada

        1. ray, he may accomplish just that but it will be with the consent of at least 65% of the population, even if they all did not vote liberal they are all global socialists.

        2. Trudeau wants to be remembered. That will mean he’s important. Being the last PM of a combined/united Canada will mean his name goes down in history.

          1. More important, he wants to make his official father, wherever he is now, proud of him.

    2. Thank you, blue tech for posting that tweet. I’m not on Twitter, so without that, I would have missed an outstanding piece by that vet. I implore all reading this to click on that link and share it. Outstanding!

      1. Calgary 68…I am not on twitter either! I just follow on line.
Search the twitter account (Duck Duck Go or Google if you want) of anyone that you would like to follow, click, and follow their feed. Always links to others so you get lost in twitter land. Start with Ezra and Sheila Gunn Reid. Enjoy!

    1. Yessiree Bob, the old hate crime trick.
The federal Libcoms are the masters of that old trick in Canada.
Just last Sept before the election, somebody painted large white swastikas on a nice green boulevard in Edmonton.
My wife asked, who would do such a thing?
I said the question to ask is WHO WOULD BENEFIT FROM IT?
Certainly not the CPC since they wouldn’t hurt their own cause before an election.
Probably not the NDPers because they are lost in the wilderness with their man of the clothe and he in fact never did visit Alberta during the entire election.
So that leaves only the Libcoms to ride to the rescue and save all Canjuns from the dastardly White Supremacists.
To me it was the Libcoms up to their old tricks.

Look at all the times they did it before.
Ontario Wynn’s own executive lady’s daughter faked her hair being cut off and look at the crowd gather to denounce that alleged crime.
Then there was Libcom cabinet minister Hedy Fry who said that ‘crosses were being burned on lawns ‘ in BC “as we speak”. It was a lie.
And there was Kate’s close (just kidding heh) friend Warren Kinsella who just happened to have his camera ready in the public toilet to snap a pic of the Nazi SS number scrawled on the toilet.
Man that was funny because the number was Kate’s VIN on her motorcycle.
I could list more but you get the idea.
First, always ask who benefits from these stunts?

    1. I am waiting for the day for someone like Ricky Gervais to tell these Leftist bits of shit aka: Animal Rights Scumbags to FOAD….IN public.

Sick and tired of their utter idiocy. Same goes for that gang that annually has something to say about the Chuckwagon races at the Calgary Stampede.

      1. During the mid-1980s, the CBC ran a TV documentary series featuring Dr. Fruit Fly. My mother was outraged when he said that people shouldn’t be allowed to have pets such as dogs. The critters deserve to be free, you know.

The dachshund that my parents had at the time had a better life as their house critter than she would have had “in the wild”.

  2. LUDDITE

    “Luddite adjective
    Did You Know?

Luddites could be considered the first victims of corporate downsizing. The Luddite movement began in the vicinity of Nottingham, England, toward the end of 1811 when textile mill workers rioted for the destruction of the new machinery that was slowly replacing them. Their name is of uncertain origin, but it may be connected to a (probably mythical) person known as Ned Ludd. According to an unsubstantiated account in George Pellew’s Life of Lord Sidmouth (1847), Ned Ludd was a Leicestershire villager of the late 1700s who, in a fit of insane rage, rushed into a stocking weaver’s house and destroyed his equipment. From then on, his name was proverbially connected with the destruction of machinery. With the onset of the information age, Luddite gained a broader sense describing anyone who shuns new technology.”

Not entirely sure why that word keeps popping up in my mind when I watch the news nowadays.
Oh well, not all people advance at the same rate.

    Just look at the Libcoms.
1930s state corporatism again in 2020.

    “I bought a pipeline, didn’t I?”, J Trudeau smirked.
    Wow, how far we’ve come!

    1. I know you asked a rhetorical question, but yes the liberal parties in Canada and the U.S., who parade themselves as the parties of “science” (because they believe in AGW) have revealed themselves to be the true Luddites who do not believe in science.
Exhibit: GMO crops have contributed to record bumper crops almost annually. Americans have consumed almost exclusively GMO wheat for decades with no known ill effect. The Luddites reject the advance. An African president (maybe Zambia, I am not sure) whose country is suffering from starvation due to drought, rejected American offers of wheat because he said he wanted to protect his people from GMO. Yes, he chose starvation for “his people” instead.
Exhibit: Life span and prosperity have been increasing in the whole world since the Second World War. A great factor is the bumper crops, which are partly due to increased efficiency, but also GMO crops, and chemical insecticides. That life spans have increased with those things in general use for decades should be enough scientific evidence that indeed they are not, on the whole, injurious to humans if used judiciously. Rejection of them outright, on the other hand, is nothing less than Luddite.
Exhibit: As long as oil is being transported from point A to point B, it is much more environmentally safe and much less “carbon footprint” (the latter being supposedly important to some people) to build pipelines, but they are rejected for nebulous “environmental concerns” that have proven to be non-existent wherever pipelines have been built. That should be a no-brainer.
Exhibit: Speaking of oil, since the first “warning” was sounded in the 1970’s about AGW, the Earth has not warmed beyond statistical fluctuations. Periodic predictions of disaster have never come true. New York City is not under water. The Maldives are not under water. Small Greek islands such as Delos, known to have been around before 400 B.C., are still around. The famous warmist Phil Jones, when confronted with ten years’ worth of data of no warming, said that is insufficient evidence, talk to him in another fifteen years. Well, too bad he is retired, but it is now fifty years and counting. Rejection of physical reality is anti-science.
Exhibit: 99.7% of human beings have two sex chromosomes, either XX or XY. They dictate how the person is developed from conception, from hormones to bone structures to musculature, and everything else. Rejection of that scientific fact is denial of science.
I could go on, but they should demonstrate which side really is the side of Luddites who do not trust scientific evidence or advances.

      1. “A great factor is the bumper crops, which are partly due to increased efficiency, but also GMO crops, and chemical insecticides. That life spans have increased with those things in general use for decades should be enough scientific evidence that indeed they are not, on the whole, injurious to humans if used judiciously. Rejection of them outright, on the other hand, is nothing less than Luddite.”

A class action lawsuit was filed against the chemical insecticide “Round-up” weed killer —there are TV commercials about it up here in Canada.

I wash my produce well, always wondering if it is enough. Should we all use something? Vinegar perhaps?

        Good piece OB.

        1. Sorry Nancy unless you start drinking round up from the jug you are in no danger. Class action suits tend to be for lawyers to make millions of dollars and not for anyone else. DD2 was not doing what it was said to have done yet millions have died as a result of banning it.

        2. Water works just fine. It is called the universal solvent for a reason. There was a veggie rinse but that was marketing.

          1. Some of the waxier ones could do with a drop of soap in the bottle (to aid in the number of binding sites to assist disolving) but for the most part, what you use to clean your food will be as bad for you as the pesticides would be.

      2. GReat Commentary OB..!!
There is no such thing as settled science…ever.
        That should be self evident.
Anything else is Religious Fanatacism or Communism.

    2. Anyone notice how the Feds have shirked their responsibility for inter-provincial trade by saying it’s up to the provinces (Ontario) to deal with the protesters blocking inter-provincial rail traffic? Disgusting.

      1. Robert, none of the corporate media noticed this disconnect. But I think ordinary Canadians notice full well Trudeau tripping about Africa, as our rail transportation is effectively being shut down. I was reading the “comments” sections of Globe and Mail articles, covering the blockades, and the public are angry.

And the public will be hopefully angry with the corporate media siding with the hereditary chiefs.

      2. Robert…seems to me the sticking point is the Utter Lack of BALLS in the OPP and the RCMP. Both have been served with Court injunctions to remove said blockades.

Instead, these so called “protectors of the people” have decided to “Monitor the Situation” and sit on their Doughnut Fed collective (_i_)’s Likely through binoculars from the nearest Tims at the Behest of Unifor.

So Canada is shut down due to 2-300 US paid Subversive LEFTIST Inspired Eco-FILTH and No one Dares do fack all to stop it….wow.

WHAT A USELESS COUNTRY OF GUTLESS WANKERS.
Am wondering if we have a Combat proven Officer in OUR Armed Forces who has the Gumption, the BALLS and the men to remove these Enemies of CANADA..?? By force if necessary..?? Or just commandeer a locomotive and drive right through the bastards. THIS is Economic TERRORISM.

Never mind waiting for approval from the Fkng govt.

    3. sad to say, but NOW is the era we need some luddites.
*one* example: the equifax hack that went on and on for months.
the FTC ordered these people to tighten up their web security, but shucks, thats overhead and hurts the ‘bottom line’ eh?
      https://www.wired.com/story/equifax-hack-china/
note the involvement of the chirese.

the industrial age pushed development farther than the previous 20 centuries. it was technology at its finest.
now technology is accelerating the demise of civilization on many fronts.
we actually do need the right kind of luddite in the right place.
      Im one of them.

      1. Collectivists have always taken advantage of whatever is available to them, including the latest technological advances. That is a political and societal issue, not scientific one.
Wars have gotten progressively more horrifying, due to technological advances in weapons and delivery. Collectivist control of the populace have gotten more stringent, due to technological advances and prevalence of computers. The world has effectively shrunk an order of magnitude, and any disease out break has the potential of affecting the world (even as flu in the early 20th century), due to technological advances in transportation.
Yes, foregoing the technological advances because of some of the consequences is the action of Luddites. But on the whole they are beneficial to mankind. People tend to romanticize previous eras without thinking of the whole picture. Small example, late nineteenth century London, when prosperity meant almost everyone rode around in carriages, resulted in manure piled ten feet high at the curb that had to be cleared every night. But people only think of auto exhausts, and the “right kind of Luddite” would forbid automobiles because of that exhaust, which are much less detrimental to health than ten feet high piles of manure.
Even technological advances in weaponry are on the whole beneficial. Wars last a matter of days instead of years, and nations are much less apt to go to war to begin with. Part of the side effect of guns becoming smaller and more lethal is that guns are the great equalizer for women.

  3. Hats off to commentators on this topic in yesterday’s Readers Tips here at SDA.

Re: Terrorist Omar Khadr’s visit to Dalhousie University Alumnae Association on 02-11-2020 in Halifax.

Ezra Levant of “Rebel News” and Andrew Lawton of “True North News” attended this talkfest. Here are some of my observations from their reports to us, the listeners.

Re: yesterday’s submission from Andrew Lawton:
Khadr “played the room like a violin”…. he…. “never renounced his terrorism — nor the family business.”

In the past he had said that killing Sgt Speer was the “best day of his life.”

During the talk in Halifax the audience was not allowed to ask about the ‘incident’ nor ask questions about his cash settlement with the Canadian government. No one except Ezra and a former member of the Military, veteran Frank MacLeod, wanted to talk to Andrew Lawton about why they were there but at the end Khadr got a standing ovation from the rest of the crowd!

According to an interview Andrew had with Ezra Levant about the event, Ezra said that  Guantanamo’s Child, never renounced his past actions and his religiosity is still apparently in place.

So if he was there not to answer questions why was he there? The hardest question is one that was never asked. “Has Omar ever found peace?” I strongly doubt it.

    Re: submission from Ezra Levant:
See the Tuesday evening show if you get a chance. Ezra was at first refused entry into the big event in Halifax! He politely argued his his way in after a 15 minute talk with Security.

According to Ezra, the appearance was a big disappointment. Khadr gave no information, said nothing of note, and gave foggy, even vague answers to nothing burger questions. Like Andrew said, the “incident” or the  Canadian $ settlement were not permitted in the Q & A! Imagine that.

The biggest news is that the American and Israeli Governments were made aware about Khadr’s fly over on American territory when it is absolutely forbidden. Ezra gave an interview on Glen Beck’s Blaze TV and one other network about it and the Israeli newspaper responded by saying that this incident was “madness”.

Be sure that this isn’t the last you’ll hear about this. The Air Canada Administration was not aware of the fact that Khadr was not on the list. Wonder what Marc Garneau has to say about this? What some are already saying is that they now will not ever fly Air Canada again.
This is big bad news for certain people! As it should be. We should be ashamed to be called Canadians under this current government. They need to be removed.

    1. Looks likes I won’t fly with either of these ASSHOLE AIrlines.

No problem…either a quick drive down to Montana and its up, up and away with United or use Delta from YYC. Tired of being boned up the (_i_) by AC & Wetjet both, for many reasons. Time to vote with ones wallet…

As for Khadr…. he will be the recipient of some hi speed lead one day. My prediction for the 2020’s. It will be well deserved as far as I’m concerned.

    2. I remember when hockey players were among Canada’s heroes. I guess it won’t be long before Omar the Smeghead will be on boxes of breakfast cereal and starring in TV advertisements, such as this mouldy oldie:

      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jSyDUeRoDb0

That’s what one gets for electing a prime minister who’s a rooster lollipop obsessed with his father.

      1. You know they had to have stuffed the ballot boxes, once again. Look how he’s doing his damage and is continuously ruining what’s left of this tattered place. Oh! Heaven forbid! Cereal boxes? I don’t buy them.

If those silly women in Halifax only knew what Khadr told the female guard in Guantanamo Jail, they’d stop gushing around him.

I won’t say it here, because I can’t seem to muster the courage, but if you listened to Andrew Lawton’s piece as posted in yesterday’s readers tips here, you’d realize that this smiling murderous monster has a genuine deadly antagonistic narcissistic personality disorder. He is toxic to society.

        1. Cereal boxes? I don’t buy them.

Let me guess: you gave up buying them when the companies stopped giving away prizes with the cereal? (“Waddya mean you don’t want another miniature T. Rex along with the dozen others identical to it?”)

          1. We sure could use a few of them now. Just let ’em loose at a pipeline protest….

    3. Those at the Dalhousie event seem to have lost their moral compass. That is happening across Canada. That is how nations go down.

  4. Air lines are responsible for knowing who’s on the no fly list. They know exactly who is on their plane and who is on the list.

I’m sick of omar. Tired of his smug sneer. He should be afraid of leaving his house for fear of condemnation and retribution. He is a terrorist and murderer.

      1. I know how you guys like this stuff, here goes:

        Soft on terrorists? No kidding.
From the famous “October Crisis”  in Pierre Trudeau’s time :

Five known kidnappers (of James Cross, the former British Diplomat) Marc Carbonneau, Yves Langlois, Jacques Lanctôt, Jacques Cossette-Trudel and his wife, Louise Lanctôt, were granted safe passage to Cuba by the government of Canada after approval by Fidel Castro. They are flown to Cuba by a Canadian Forces aircraft. Jacques Lanctôt is the same man who, earlier had been arrested and then released on bail for the attempted kidnapping of the Israeli consul.

The Rose brothers, Paul and Jacques and a man named Francis Simard killed Quebec politician Pierre Laporte were also sent to Cuba. They were immediately arrested for this murder upon return to Canada. The others went back to regular life in Quebec as free persons.

        P.S. Here’s something:
The Trudeaus really are a zany bunch. Did you know that in 1961, just prior to the Bay of Pigs invasion, the U.S. Coast Guard picked up Trudeau attempting to paddle to Cuba from Key West? Trudeau was deported home. Paddle? Yes, paddle!

        More from the “Trumpet” website:

        https://www.thetrumpet.com/13321-like-father-like-son

        1. Wonder who our Prime Minister would be today if the US Coast Guard had let Pierre paddle?

          He might have, gulp,
          d-r-o-w-n-e-d, — or got eaten by a…. big fish…
          Just sayin’….

        2. I supported PET when he sent in the troops after Laporte was killed. l withdrew that after he let the FLQers back into the country.

        3.  “As the saying goes, people get what they deserve, not necessarily what they want. How true that is in Canada—a democracy that is undoing itself, one Trudeau at a time.”
          Good article.

        4. The more I read about PET, the more I loathe Lester Pearson. The only reason he made him a cabinet minister was to keep Quebec happy after Guy Favreau resigned in disgrace because of the Lucien Rivard scandal.

        5. I am PROUD to say I saw thru the TURDoo 1.0 right from the start.
despite him giving me the vote. *that* should have already been done by the CONserrrrrrvatists of the time.
and, just like 50 fcukin years later, the *alternative* was shyte. that right there mr mckay?

          1. So did I. However, my high school classmates bought into that “he’s young, he’s hip” BS (never mind that he was pushing 50 when he took office as PM).

  5. Barbara Kay: Jordan Peterson and the deadly overprescription of benzos
It is unfortunate that it often takes the publicity surrounding a famous person’s tragedy to jump-start a national discussion

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/barbara-kay-jordan-peterson-and-the-deadly-overprescription-of-benzos#comments-area
    ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————-
L- The nurse/authour cited needs a higher profile for her critique of current prescribing and dispensing practices. I suggest she contact Joe Rogan (and a few others) for a long form discussion that is badly needed. If there is an example of why the federal government should stay the heck out of federal jurisdiction on health care and drug plans this is one. The feds would only screw things up more which they tend to do when violating provincial jurisdictions. Provinces should review the problem outlined in the article above.

  6. John Robson: Baird has a bold plan to … do what, exactly?

the Post noted that Baird “wants to contribute to creating what he calls ‘a true blue’ agenda that can appeal to voters in all corners of the country.” And I’d also like a pony. Or in this case a unicorn, that fabled socially liberal, fiscally conservative beast that would mesmerize everyone if only we could find the blasted thing…

    https://nationalpost.com/opinion/john-robson-baird-has-a-bold-plan-to-do-what-exactly
    ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
L- John Robson – uses tactical satire to serve a strategic purpose. 🙂

My take: The fed. Conservative Party has been scheered of credibility. Therefore, any recovery will only follow from West. provincial moves to seriously assume their responsibilities, to represent their electorate; this either by independence within Confederation(re-Confederation) or failing that from without, separation. Until then any C.P.C. leader is only an interim leader, a place holder.

    1. uhuh.
and watch all manner of gay rights skyrocket.
the right to force all manner of ‘tolerance’ on the remaining 95% ciswhatevers.

  7. Warmington at the Toronto Sun website describes how he was told to leave the scene of a whiny Indian blockade at train tracks in Ontario. Indians told him to leave the scene and then physically assaulted him. However the CBC and CTV were told they could stay. The CBC on site told Warmington not to upset the protesters and to respect their “house”. Except the site is not on Indian land but township land.

        1. No one under my age was here before me and that would probably include 90% of all Indians.

      1. The railways have their own police forces and should be using them. Of course, they don’t have the numbers to deal with this but they should sent. Whether they attempt to disperse and/or arrest protesters and fail or they refuse, that’s the tripwire the railways can use to call on the governments (municipal, provincial, federal, as the case may be) to send their police forces to assist. And when (one could say “if”, but I think it’s “when” ) those police forces and their political masters refuse, like Regina Police Service and then Mayor of Regina were cowed by UNIFOR at the Co-op refinery, the railways can set their PR people to lighting it up in the media.

Meanwhile, how many of us have sent any complaint in any form to our elected representatives about the failure of these governments and their police agencies to do their jobs? The squeaky wheel gets greased. Small groups of protesters are squeaking loudly, the rest of us go along quietly.

        1. It wouldn’t do me any good where I live here in Edmonton. Red Rachel is my MLA and the MP is also a Dipper. I doubt that they’d be on my side on this issue.

        2. Tooner, I have written more PM’s and useless members of parliament than most here have posted on line, and I did it with paper and pen and mailed the shit to people who did the same damn thing they do now, IGNORE YOU! Good grief I am so tired of people who actually think they can change anything by voting or sending a bleat to a member of parliament. Bahahahahaha. That is what your time is worth. Did you gain any insight here today?

        3. Believe me, I email people and I’m always polite and respectful even though sometimes I’d rather not be.

  8. Oh Nooo! The Liberal Party’s Globe and Mail reports that Blackie The Gay Pirate has missed the deadline for filing his financial disclosure to the ethics commissioner. I guess the Globe didn’t receive orders from the prime minister’s office that he is above the law. Besides, shouldn’t the Globe be concentrating on climate change stories now that the Heritage Minister is paying the media to run propaganda on global warming?

    1. His excuse: “But I’m in Afwica wight now, thucking up to dictatorth tho that they’ll get me a theat on the UN Thecuwity Counthil. How am I thuppothed to thend all that thuff in?”

      1. Thass no esexuse Justhin. Youth colud’thoff deleegatheded to Chrisstheþhya or Ssoapie. Shhaammeemonth youth! Badth boi!

        1. She was probably too busy climate-changing or something.

Then again, we’re now a two-tiered country. We have a two-tiered economic system, a two-tiered medical system, and a two-tiered legal system. The lower tier is for the deplorables. Deplorables go to jail if they don’t follow the law. The elites and their pets (e. g., whiny Indians, eco-loons, Mohammedans, pooftahs, and xim/xer/xits) are an upper class of their own.

  9. Blackie’s media is excited that he will be visiting former slave trade island in Senegal. Perhaps he can rant to them how his ancestors were black slaves from that island.

    1. – or how lucky they are not to live here, considering what rayciss ba$tards Canadians are.

But if they want to come to Canada (and will promise to vote Liberal), has Little Potato got a deal for them!

  10. Warmington at the Toronto Sun reports that the Mohawk reserve that has shut down the railway tracks in Ontario has forty stores selling contraband pot. I guess selling pot is an ancient Indian tradition.

    1. Also noticed at every one of the “protests” they fly the Mohawk warriors flag (aka native mafia).

      1. I guess the gift of maple syrup the Ontario Provincial Police brought the indians blocking the tracks didn’t work out so well. Gee, I wonder if I broke the law, the OPP would bring me a bottle of maple syrup?

        1. Either from Oka or from the Cornwall Island GANG…Buddy.
I recall when I lived in the latter, Our Mayor at the time, an ex cop was near gunned down from a cpl boats in the St Lawrence. they didn’t like him much

And at nighttime, while at a buddys South facing cottage on Pilon Island, during the summer, they were running Smokes and other items, then at around 1:30-2 AM you would hear some 20mm being shot off into the air, that was the “bell” to get the fk off the river – within minutes under moonlight, you would see the waves from the Barges being towed & no lights on the boats pulling either.

Fun times in Eastern Ontario in the late 80’s

    1. Ezra Levant has booked a venue in Regina and engaged Patrick Moore to speak. If I heard him right on John Gormley Live a few minutes ago, it’s just before that sustainability conference. He said told the venue exactly who was coming and why to ensure they knew what they are getting into, received their assurance they knew, agreed to cover their extra security costs and has paid the rent in full in advance.

  11. {A carefully weighed Debate} – Even asking a Chinese National to cooperate in the safety of Canadian citizens can be a real problem for the Blackface government.

“Canada’s top health officials are debating whether to expand a new travel policy and ask anyone coming into the country from China to voluntarily quarantine themselves in order to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus.

It’s a major decision that health experts say must be weighed carefully, ”

    https://www.theglobeandmail.com/canada/article-coronavirus-outbreak-prompts-canadian-officials-to-weigh-asking-all/

    1. “Canada’s top health officials are debating whether to expand a new travel policy and ask anyone coming into the country from China to voluntarily quarantine themselves in order to reduce the risk of spreading the coronavirus.”

How about a simple policy that no one from China gets into Canada until the coronavirus outbreak is resolved?

With the exception of Canadian citizens and direct relatives (husbands, wives, children) who are Chinese nationals, all of whom must undergo mandatory quarantine.

      1. How about a “non-racist” policy that actually addresses the real problem: anyone (of any race, any nationality, etc.) coming in is required to account for where they have been since the outbreak, and if border officials aren’t satisfied, their permission to enter may be conditional on their agreement to quarantine. With a directive border officials, if they are coming from an outbreak area, you aren’t satisfied, impose that condition.

      2. CANADA:

Currently Co-owned by the Muslim Brotherhood, The Chinese Communist Party and Quebec Facsists.

      3. I’m wondering if anyone here has seen the Vid from Steve Bannon’s show with Miles Guo on it..?? He talks about what he knows about the coronavirus and what is REALLY going on in China.

        His take on COVID-19
An EYE opener to say the least..!!

        https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2WyfVnL5_AM&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR1d_be8_dk4DAxr6lQwcyMybFOeTmWag2SynVW5siNMnBV565MTiG55RlA

Particularly the Creamtorians and #’s of deaths Reported (percentage). Watch for that…

        1. Looks to me if what he is saying is true, which I suspect it is…25-35,000 in WUHAN ALONE. Imagine now some 2 Million people locked down – no water no food..?? How many more. Thousands re-located into Quarantine Kampfs. So if one person in said facility is sick…then what, they all die.?? Yep. 10’s of thousands turned away from hospitals, no test kits avail…all going home to die.

ALL is Terribly UNWELL In China, and what do we hear from Canada…GEE, We might ask returnees to self Quarantine. This is, IMO, a Bio Weapon folks.

          A PLAGUE
Crucify me later if I’m wrong.

          1. Remember, life is cheap over there. This is the same country that sent troops into Korea nearly 70 years ago, half of whom actually had weapons.

The ones with rifles were in front and those without them, followed, picking up the weapons from their fallen comrades as they advanced.

  12. Trouble continues in Cannabis Gardens.

    https://www.bnnbloomberg.ca/supreme-cannabis-sheds-15-of-staff-amid-drive-for-revenue-growth-1.1388724

“The Supreme Cannabis Co. is the latest cannabis company to announce a series of layoffs, after the pot producer said it would shed 15 per cent of its staff to focus on “near-term revenue growth” late Tuesday. The company said one-third of its corporate-designated jobs would be cut, while about 13 per cent of its production staff would also be reduced. Supreme Cannabis has about 700 staff, according to the company. It will also stop its plans to invest in the UK and European cannabis industries, while maintaining its existing investments in Lesotho and its Truverra CBD business.”

For greater clarity, you do not fire 15% of your staff to focus on revenue growth. You fire 15% of your staff to cut losses. You hire people to drive revenue growth as you expand into new markets. Stopping plans to invest in the UK and European cannabis markets is not growing revenue, it’s conserving capital and reducing losses. Just sayin…

  13. So when Pierre was paddling to Cuba, pre Bay of Pigs, was that in his birchbark canoe or in an inflatable? The American Coast Guard should have ran him over as the flotsam he was. No PT 109 for that POS.

  14. CBC news is just reporting that Chtistie Blatchford has just died, of cancer. A true conservative warrior, she, who had great expertise in writing about the organized-crime, gang-banger scene. Few conservatives have her expertise.

  15. CBC had a ,I’ve report on the takeover of a key street intersection in downtown Vancouver, by hundreds of Indian and leftist activists. They brought tents, food, and have made a big bonfire right on the street.

But for the past 40 or so minutes CBC is showing Trudezu stack press conference in Senegal.

    1. Sorry about the typos and wrong words in my above post. My wife was ordering me into the car on short notice, as I was typing the post.

CBC News was reporting three hours ago that the street demonstrators were at the key Vancouver intersection to stay. But the Vancouver Sun is now reporting that the demonstrators have cleared the area:
      https://vancouversun.com/news/local-news/wetsuweten-demonstrators-block-busy-vancouver-intersection

Given that the provincial government and the Vancouver city hall government are politically to the left of Maduro’s Venezuela regime, the Indian-environmentalist hoods could very well take over much of British Columbia with little effort.

      1. And as such, ANY Western separation of Alberta/Saskatchewan may well accept Rural/Northern BC…However, the Lower MAOLand and their imbecile Eco-Loon cousins on the Island..?? will not be invited. In fact, once separated, I would prefer to see proper Border Crossings – anyone from the LEFT COAST would be forced to pay an entrance fee. Say $100 per Vehicle – regardless..??

Don’t like it…TOO BAD, turn around and spend your weekend in Field.

      2. Indian-environmentalist hoods could very well take over much of British Columbia with little effort

They already run Fort St. John. Guess who’s got some of the biggest offices in the downtown area?

  16. We are all poorer off with the loss of firebrand journalist Christy Blathcford. I wondered why her columns had dissapeared from the National Post. She could cut to the chase and never suffered fools.

    Good on ya Blatch

    1. I do, as well, even though my favourite breed only wins at Crupps. Daniel retriever was robbed and should have won. The whippet was awesome too: personality, gait and meeting standard, so deserved the 2nd win. Figure skating, anyone?

      1. I love all breeds but am not familiar with the standards. They were all so impressive and there seemed to be quite a few bitches this year. So nice to see. I miss my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and am now considering a Welsh Springer Spaniel. Dogs make the world a better place.

        1. Last year I cheered for the Canadian Bouvier des Flanders, Baby Lars – didn’t win and that was bullshit.

  17. This is a VERY VERY old Link….But its 1000% bang on from what used to be a pretty good Canadian magazine:

    https://www.macleans.ca/news/canada/the-most-corrupt-province/?fbclid=IwAR2EbLGW-0kH3_GuL8Z9JaPoUGKCfY_00GvCtteGMgNYSVVFNYcL0xGROjw

I would add that I lived in a small town in Eastern Ontario 1986-97, 50% of the residents were French and damned near 100% of them were as Corrupt as it comes. As a sales rep, selling welding gases, equipment & filler metals at the time, I saw this on a daily basis: Businesses paying out big monthly $$$ for supposedly better pricing (NOT), but hey, they got a free Weber BBQ annually. A classic, albeit small example.

Pretty much anyone on EI would be working under the table. Payola to obtain a companies business was standard business practice up to an including giving someone a brand new Corvette. & That’s NO bs. SNC – Bombardier largesse etc is just the tip of the iceberg.

Quebec ..? ROTTEN TO the Core.

    1. Q: how does one spell mafia en francais?
      A: mafia !!!

      same old same old.
they still run things in la belle province. that crud about ‘a shell of its former self ‘ is
the greatest and longest hoax in the last half of the 20th century.

the rot is the siren call for the folks from sicily.

      1. Who do you think was responsible for the embarrassment of a half-finished stadium when the Drapeau Olympics were held?

    1. I love the idea that Obummer holdovers were kept in their positions, AFTER O pardoned his administration.
They then could break laws UNPROTECTED, while evidence against them was collected. They were then sent packing.

      Outfuckingstanding!
      Pain…………. is coming

    1. For some reason, Luke 12:34 comes to mind:

“For where your treasure is, there will be your heart also.”

Prinz Dummkopf is simply not loyal to the confederation of Canada.

  18. True North reports that the terrorist who was in Blackie’s India trip entourage, has been arrested in B.C. again.

  19. Canada’s problems are solved! The Liberal Party’s CTV reports that the president of Senegal has promised to support Blackie’s bid for that UN security seat. He must be so proud to have the support of Islamic Senegal that bans homosexuals.

  20. Blacklock reports that a company called Novatek gave Blackie an expensive stainless steel watch for Christmas. The company received over three hundred thousand dollars of taxpayer money last year.

  21. Watching CBC – the host, Natasha, is stacked – lotsa talk about the Aristocracy Chiefs and protests. The protestors all over the country all have the exact same message: the RCMP have to leave.
#ClownCarCanada where the rule of law doesn’t apply to some and if your white, work and pay taxes, then STFU and keep your head down you colonial mofo.
Jugmeat Singh is saying that Blackie has to come home and shine some native pole because we colonists are pieces of shit.

My Theme: The Silent War Continues

If you want to understand the subjects discussed by Q, it helps to decode the “signatures” he provides.

Signatures are short phrases found at the end of some posts.
