4. I actually don’t disagree with her. People are too “into” their jobs and ventures and self-important activities. . And not enough “into” being a normal, well rounded adult who spends time with his friends / spouse / kids / community.

   1. You may have missed the irony but this girl seems very into her job and extremely self-important. And apparently she left social media yet started up her own web-site so I would add hypocrite to her list of things to avoid.

    In another video she talks of still working at a grocery as her specialized literature degrees aren’t sought after by employers.
    She has a bunch of debt, but lives frugally and is grateful for a university education. She doesn’t recommend college as a get rich scheme.
    She’s on YouTube trying to make some money. Who knows, that might lead to further success.

18. I couldn’t stick through it, such a self-righteous self-inflated attitude oozing through her speech and appearance.
    Sure, I agree that being a braggart (humblebrag or good-old-fashioned braggart) is not a good thing; nor is being overly obsessed with making money. But neither is (literally in this case) looking down one’s nose at people you disagree with, who have different priorities. And being ticked off about people who work extra hard getting extra money doesn’t make sense to me – I may not approve of their lifestyle or methods or values, but I’ve made different choices, and I’m largely comfortable with the choices and values I’ve made: those choices have mostly yielded the rewards I could reasonably expect, including such things as a well-raised child, a happy wife, and a fairly stable, livable economic situation. We all make choices and strive for different things.
    Yes, I think I’ve made ‘better’ choices (to my way of thinking) than many who ‘hustle,’ but I claim no right to rule over or brag over them. My values also include humility and self-restraint…

30. Whoa! I actually made it almost to the two minute mark but had stopped listening at the 14 second mark. She can sure talk a lot. And look at all those books! I was hoping that the bookshelf would fall on her insufferable head. I bet her friends love to sit quietly while she holds forth at the wine and cheese party.

Then I’m thinking, huh? 47 comments, must actually be something worthwhile for that amount of interest! Then when I clicked on comments….Wow, now it makes sense. She made just about everyone on SDA cringe! So badly, to the point of actually really needing to comment as to how awful she is. If she’s trying to make money on Utube, this might just work. It’ll go viral because of how pretentious, and overbearing and snobbish she is, man she was really hustling that angle!
