40 Replies to “A Compassionate Leftist”

    1. Pretty close, he seems to hate almost everybody and everything that isn’t as self-enlightened as he deems himself

  1. I find it rather frightening that a person with a rancid soul such as Attaran is part of the medical community. I wonder what his views on euthanasia are?

  2. Why is it that every so called media outlet describes Jordan as “controversial”..??

Infused and numbed by Identity politics, We as a species are well and truly fkd when one of the few Humans on the planet that speaks pure Common Sense is considered controversial. (Nat post et all).

As for that muzzy Prof low life POS..??
May karma visit you in distress sonny.

    1. Why is it that every so called media outlet describes Jordan as “controversial”..??

Controversial is a word used to paint an image of “beyond the norm” for any person or oganization with any real or potential influence not in total conformance with the institutional left. It is intended to save the reader from having to think independently and judge for oneself the merits of their work.

    2. The media also refers to any conservative as far-right. It’s just their nature. They can’t help it.

  3. Litigator. Bicyclist. Husband. Father. Son. So he prioritises pedalling his arse around being a nuisance over being a father. Ottawa..figures.

      1. Ray:
Yes and that is very true…got out of their many many years ago….went back once to visit my brother…. found it to be worse than when I left,, also my Brother in Law is/was a professor at Ottawa u. in the law faculty…..nuff said…Steve O

  4. Is he a Muslim? I thought they promoted compassion — or at least liked to be seen that way. Maybe he is not a Muslim, but with his background, he is given them a bad name anyway.

    1. Muslims only promote compassion to other muslims of the same sect. They want everyone else enslaved or dead.

  5. A check of posted Election Canada records show that Attaran has donated lots of dough to the federal Liberal and NDP parties. He often gets onto CBC News to impart his uber-left wisdom.

      1. Attaran is correct about JWR’s change to the impaired driving laws.
Stopping vehicles without reason and administering a breathalyzer without cause is the result.

Police forces across Canada have gone berserk with this power. As Attaran points out this mess will take years in court to resolve.

  6. A quick search of Canlii shows what Attaran is all about. Seems every Canadian university wont promote him cause … muh racism. He lives for Human Rights Tribunals.

    1. Thanks. Apart from the odious tweets, those hr cases reveal a man who is either delusional or is gaming the system.

  7. Mr. Peterson is most likely the victim of a careless physician, shrink or idiot who prescribes medicine not knowing what he or she is doing.

My Dad was prescribed Valium as an attempt to cure depression. After years of struggling with the Saskatchewan ”Commie Tommy make everyone happy” meds, he traveled to the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn.

He never completely recovered. Mostly because he refused the simplest form of treatment; an addictions counsellor.

I was given a similar drug when I gave up nicotine. I quit smoking only to become addicted to the drug. Counselling cleaned me up. I now have 23 smoke free eyars.

I sympathize with Jordan Peterson. No one is immune from addictions, unless of course you don’t take the fist pill, the first shot or the first drag. It’s the first one that will get you in trouble, not the last.

  8. Right wing hypocrites!!!! Don’t you remember how you all went after Jerry Nadler and his sick wife? You don’t because you’re liars.

One of you swine even wished him well and a pariah in particular sent a get well card.

My God the inhumanity, you people don’t deserve to live.

Off to the gulags, so obviously in need of re-education. Then cities bill burn to stop your violence. After we steal your stuff.

Those fascists, then getting all triggered because Rush the inhuman has lung cancer. Boo hoo. Where’s his stuff?

    1. “Don’t you remember how you all went after Jerry Nadler and his sick wife?”

You know its funny, I don’t remember that. Must be because I’m a racist. ~:D

  9. Peterson has never impressed me, in fact I believe Vox Day and I are of a similar opinion of the man. That said, I hope he manages to break whatever cycle he is in.

  10. Our Progressive Comrades run true to form.
Unable to build, grow or create anything of value, they are driven to lie, smear and slander to diminish any who do.
For normal productive people expose the Proggs fetid rancid souls, to their own eyes.
The tiny bubble of fools and bandits that is our media party are getting frantic, the growing collapse of public faith in the institutions is exposing them to ridicule and soon enough backlash.
Scott is right, the vicious nastiness of the “Enlightened Ones” is showing even the Sheeple their true nature.

  11. strong drugs???

    Heroine is a strong drug

    Crack is a strong drug

but something like xanax ( or whatever benzodiapezine Peterson was taking ) is not a strong drug

you can take too many of them too often and become addicted YES

but a strong drug it is not

  12. I listened to ALL of Scott Adams Sat. message. It’s the first I’ve heard the backstory of his quote “there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness”. I don’t consider myself a particularly notable purveyor of these small intentional acts … yet … even someone like me … who tends to BE KIND, yet doesn’t actively seek out specific acts of kindness to DO … has had an impact on others lives. I have been surprised several times in my life, by former friends and acquaintances who tell me that something I said … some words of encouragement … had a huge impact on their lives. Things that I didn’t consider noteworthy … yet they were. Small words of encouragement were HUGE in the lives of these people.

I have always tried to take the Hebrews passage seriously …Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it. My interpretation of that passage isn’t that I may be speaking to REAL Angels per se … but that by showing kindness to others is angelic work. That we are called to care-about, and care-for each other by our creator.

IMO … Jordan Peterson may not identify as a Christian, and sends mixed messages about his own faith, yet I believe his message is mostly in-sync and inspired by God’s Word written in his heart. Jordan’s work is a series of small acts of kindnesses he’s placed in the hearts of people who are desperate for guidance in a complicated world of mixed messages. I believe God uses people like Jordan. People who are fallible humans … even broken humans … to communicate God’s Word.

This is written, in part, to reach my beloved friend on this site, OWG who expressed (again) his skepticism about Jordan Peterson. I don’t “worship” Jordan Peterson, but I admire his courage to speak little, humble, words of kindness and wisdom that help so many people who need direction and encouragement. Scott Adams life was changed by one random, unexpected, letter that simply said … “don’t give up”. Scott was “entertained by an Angel” … who didn’t even realize he was doing angelic work.

    1. Well said Kenji, Wise words indeed. It is indeed a complicated world of mixed messages, and full of pitfalls for us all!
It is so much easier to go astray, than walk a true path.

    2. thank’s for that kenji.
if The Good Book is true, we’re gonna meet up some day.

the incalculable wide and deep and lasting ripple effect of good works . . . . . .
does NOT go unnoticed by The Ones Who count.
      count as in ‘tally’ and
count as in ‘make the decisions’

  13. Taking the high road is not the easiest thing for many in this day and age of instant rebuttal and ultra outrage.
You would think this dickhead could have said something like Karma’s a bitch or those who cast stones or judge not lest ye be judged so I can only conclude that, yes, he’s an asshole and proud of it.

  14. Academic employment…often a safe space for immature bullies, who can lord it over and threaten their young students (who are, by and large, filled with contempt and fear of these tyrants). Attaran is a poseur, much like young Trudeau with his bearded visage. Neither of them will every grow up no matter the disguise. They are psychologically impaired.

  15. The Left always maintains the superior attitude of the morally perfect. The dismissive phrase “haters be haters” should be applied to this member of the perfecti.

  16. You haters need to stop dumping on poor Attaran, he is a turd worlder and as such by definition a victim of people like Peterson. Celebrate diversity and all that.

He is also an avid user of human rights commissions and a cyclist. A perfect product of mass importation of turd worlders, working actively to destroy the western world from every possible angle.

  17. Peterson had to go to Russia to get proper treatment after western quacks nearly killed him.

The former Soviet Union has, for those with hard currency, much, much better health care services than Canada or the US. In Canada doctors order the same three useless tests to get their $50 from the province for pretending to examine you. In the FSU doctors actually do their damn jobs.

I have worked for firms who lost employees from the former Soviet Union after Medicare utterly failed to diagnose or treat what was diagnosed and treated properly in their home countries in no time.

  18. I am impressed by Peterson. Also should be pointed out that old white men aren’t always right.

  19. Jordan is a tough cookie.
    he will get thru it.
and if I win the MAX jackpot, there might be some news stories about the likes of professor amarran
    meeting with catastrophic digital misfortune.
(each with a veiled reference to THESE kind of words)
