Ignorant energy analysis infiltrates surprising media channels and will wipe us out before climate change has a chance

The concern is that resoundingly bad energy analysis, making outrageous claims for renewable energy’s value, is becoming part of the energy lexicon and that the sheer repetition of such nonsense has a way of becoming true in the eyes of the general public. Ask any ex-Soviet citizen and they’ll tell you the phenomenon is real. Energy policies based on ignorance and wishful thinking have the potential to do more damage than another ten metres of sea levelRead on…

  1. It’s a religion. These progressive green scammers will never give up as long as there are politicians and tax payers. Just ask the pope he’s got a double religion scam going.

    1. If it’s a religion then the imams are the dangerous ones. The foolish congregants are just that..foolish.

  2. In my opinion alternative energy is only for the individual and even then only under the right conditions. You can’t replace the grid with variable energy. If you can use solar or wind and do the battery upkeep and replacement every half decade then go ahead. And really the one I think is best is micro hydro. If you have a year round running creek or stream on your property, the 24/7 running water is better than variable sunshine or wind.

    1. You can’t build the crap that they call “renewable” without coal, oil and gas, and serious mining and smelting. Eventually we will return to a pre-iron age society where those who are still alive will have basic agriculture and not much else. Everything we have today from food to medicine is dependent on fossil fuels. Enjoy the decline.

  3. Let the climate Earnest’s and socialists find a suburb of a city like Edmonton and build fit all the houses with solar panels. They can use windmills set up on the edge of the suburb for power when it’s dark.

This pilot project can show the world how easy it is. And the electricity will be really cheap. Remember these climateologists insist that solar and wind are now cheaper than fossil power. Well they can prove it.

Of course the above will never happen.

      1. Years ago a group of sane people said that it would require a wind farm the size of PEI to power Toronto when the wind was blowing. Where ya goin to put it?

    1. – And I second the idea of doing it in Edmonton – then once they all freeze to death, they’ll leave the rest of us alone.

  4. As I’ve said too many times to count, “Some people need to experience pain before they learn, some people need to experience a lot of pain before they learn, and some people will never learn” – I hold energy stocks – I’ll wait.

  5. The sooner you realize you’re dealing with a cult, the better. You’re continual call for a presentation of facts, Terry, to counter the cult, is a useless enterprise. Cults have no use for facts.

  6. Ignorance in all things is a mandate today, TV commercials tell us to unplug cell phone chargers when they’re not in use to ‘save the planet’, but when they’re not in use there’s no current flow, so there’s no power used, it’s a wire that just sits there energized but doing nothing. We’re just being trained like herd animals.

Kids today though, and we’re all kids to the government, just nod, obey, and move on, there’s no time to think, and no kids are trained to think critically, they’re only trained to think cynically about our own culture, liberals think that’s the same thing, but they’re truly ignorant, liberals have no critical thinking skills.
