We can have the surgeon, the white male SOB, start operating at 8:00 promptly, the scrub nurse/assist show up at twenty after the hour and the anesthesiologist deal with the patient’s blood curdling screams when he shows up to put him/her to sleep at 8:40 or thereabouts, depending on when he rolled out of bed. The OR will never be more “woke”.

In my profession, we are required by law to be on site, 12 hour shifts, 24 hours/day, 365(366) days/year.
Amazing how many brown and black co workers have no problem with this. Hair? they usually just shave their head or have a modestly short haircut and be done with it.
