A perfect example of the cultur war between the Left and the Right occurred on BBC television recently. An academic named Rachel Boyle dismissed the opinions of a guest on the show simply because he was a white male. Here words provided a clear example of “racism” but she is so deeply immersed in her own bubble that she can’t see what a bigot she has devolved into. The guest, British actor Laurence Fox, refuses to back down.

Related: Boxer Amir Khan doesn’t believe that England is a racist country. One can only speculate what Ms. Boyle thinks of him.

  3. Markle is not black, mildly exotic perhaps but not black and I really don’t care. People claiming they have been hard done by racism might consider the tiniest possibility that they may just be a plain old arsehole.

  7. It would seem that, not at all only in the Yee Old Britain, if you are of certain shades and can’t get ahead because of your shortcomings, the only position to take is that everyone else is racist.

    Please SDA Folks, if you are aware of Hank Azaria’s role in acting and voice acting, show some comment support on the Blogs that you contribute to. Azaria is a prime example of excellence in acting and non-Partisan politics. This man is the Epitome of Apolitical.
    Azaria was a Voice in the Simpsons from the beginning and has always done most of the voices in that series.

    Azaria voiced Chief Wiggum and then Apu Nahasapeemapetilon. In addition to Moe the bartender, Wiggum and Apu, Azaria provided the voices of Comic Book Guy, Carl Carlson, Cletus Spuckler, Professor Frink, Dr. Nick Riviera, Lou, Snake Jailbird, Kirk Van Houten, the Sea Captain, Superintendent Chalmers, Disco Stu, Duffman, the Wiseguy and numerous one-time characters.

    To get back to the issue here, it’s about the accusation that a White man can’t voice a non-white character.
    Who is the racist here? I’d say the person who says that a White man can’t do Apu’s voice.
    Where is the OUTRAGE that Bart Simpsons’ voice is done and has been done by a women since the beginning in 1989?
